SPEAKER_02So honestly, though, let's let's describe to our our listeners what we did. Like by accident, we went to the bar main event to watch T O vs. Rolly for the WBA championship.

SPEAKER_02No, no. The accident was like we went we live streamed. We're like, oh, we'll live on Instagram. And the for wherever we were sitting, the the fight was showing in the background. Like it was perfect. Yeah, that shit was actually cool. And and we have a TV in the background of our regular shit. We gotta figure out how to do that and just live stream fights whenever we can. Yeah, because that was pretty cool. Just drinking.
SPEAKER_00I don't think you can get like uh kicked off. I don't think you should you can get it.
SPEAKER_02I don't know, maybe we'll make it like black and white or something. But um good times, good times. Uh we got some good wings over there in Farmingdale, New York at the main event. Cool sports bar was dead, totally dead.

SPEAKER_00He wasn't a Role fan. That boy just spent his last monies. He betted his last his girl last money. She was more stressed than he was.
SPEAKER_02So, as you know, as the resident Teosexual, um, I'm going a little crazy, but there's a guy over there, drunk, drunk Latino fella. Rolly, Roley! I'm like, what the fuck? I was not expecting that, but good for him. Um, he lost his money though.
SPEAKER_00And then Puma was like, uh, yo, I bet you 5k.

SPEAKER_02I respectfully, and you know what the best part about that was when I said I'll bet you 5k, I don't have 5k.

Uh, cool card. You know, it it really the fact that they were even showing it is is good for boxing because usually you don't get that. Yeah, um Shakur fights they usually show.

SPEAKER_02talk about the whole card. Really, not much to talk about. Gary Russell the Thousandth fought. Um, he did okay. Pretty pretty lackluster, pretty boring fight, actually. Uh, but then the the fight in between that was Yo-Yo. Uh what the hell is his name? It was versus uh Francisco Varon. Yeah, Yoli Hernandez, I think it is, right? Yol Yoleni Hernandez, whatever it is. He they the self, I don't know, people call him the boogeyman.

SPEAKER_02The the self-proclaimed boogeyman, I'd say. And again, I I felt I fell accustomed to it because I was gassing him up because I was like, yo, this dude's neck, he doesn't have a neck. It's you know I mean, and he's Cuban, so I'm like, yo, he could dance with no neck, and he's he's big, he's gonna be a problem. Yeah, Francisco Veron, man, props to you. You won that fight.

SPEAKER_02That was a yeah, that was they were they were trolling me at the Tio fight, and I didn't know it at the time because I was drunk saying that Tio's losing, Tio's losing, blah blah blah. We'll get into that. But um, if they did that for the Veron fight, yeah, like it fight. Yeah, Veron won that fight.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so we want to be consistent with the judges, like you so that's why I would say to Puma, I was like, wait, last fight, yeah, the person that was working more lost. So I'm like, oh, T O lost.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he was working too. I'm very uh you can't let you. But shout out to Ravon, uh Varon, uh Francisco Varon, uh him and Jah, him and Jahad Tucker draw, and they put so that's that's um and you know what Jahai openly said, he's like, you know, he didn't use the word duck, but he's like, I didn't take that fight because he won less money and not for the belts. Why would I do that? But he still took Jahad Tucker, his resume is is there's no questions about it.
SPEAKER_00So he got and Jahad Tucker got belts now, so that was the right move. And now I'm curious to see where the guy see what happens because that was Jah would have beat him. That was totally beat him. That was a that was a robbery, yeah.
SPEAKER_02That was that was bad, and they're hyping him up, and I don't know.

SPEAKER_02The only thing though, like that dude, and kind of like Rolly, and we'll get into that, was sturdy. Like, like that dude, in a non um in the straightest way I could say this, he is thick. That is one uh yo yo, yo yo, yeah, he is he is one thick dude.

Yeah, or again, I think they get too Americanized. I got a lot of heat saying it last time, but they there's something to be said about these Cubans coming to Florida. Florida's a party year-round, they don't have winter breaks, yeah. Like, and there's a lot of booty over there, you know. And man's best friend is not a dog, it is booty. So the Cubans coming to Florida, man. I I think they they come with with meaning to work real hard, but they get a little taste of that forbidden fruit, and that's all she wrote, man. And we're seeing it time and time again again. I'm I'm just assuming.
SPEAKER_00I'm assuming somebody that just they just looked at flat footed the whole fight and just high guarding high guarding what is he watching, roley tape? Yeah, like what are you high guarding all fight for? Like, and you just taking punches. This dude's output is crazy, even though none of the like not all them punches have to land, he's more active on the front foot.

So, I again I don't want to write this guy off yet because that he he could be dangerous, you know what I'm saying? And he only had 10 fights. That's not a lot.

SPEAKER_00I didn't look, but I think it was it was the scorecards was crazy too. It wasn't no split decision. No, nobody had Varon.
SPEAKER_02And because he's not a draw. You get this big dude with no neck who who clearly can crack. Like, you know what I mean? He's gonna knock people out. SPEAKER_00I think he I think he just made a great deal. I mean, he he like he was talking about it after the fight, you know, how he has the fight deal in three.

SPEAKER_02Let's talk about the fight and then we'll get into that part because that's probably not gonna happen, unfortunately. But um, and the new man, Tiafimo Lopez versus Roley Romero. There was all kinds of certain people that I know that I that I adore dearly. This is a 50-50 fight. This is a 50-50 fight. I'm not even I'm and and I'm gonna sound like an a-hole for this, and I don't mean this is any way bad towards Roley, but this is exactly what everyone should have expected to happen. Yeah, Tia Fimo lost maybe two, three rounds. Maybe you give Roley four. Um Roley is is not a slick boxer. Yeah, Roly has power and he's sturdy on his feet. That's all Role is. And you know what? Yes, you could say Tio doesn't have 147 power, you could say this, that, the other. Roley's a a big dude in that division. He's he's sturdy, he's stocky, yeah. He and Tio Teo outboxed the shit out of him as a world-class boxer should, in my opinion, Willie.

I I don't think Roley's winning around, like, yeah, he got two or three clean shots, but yeah, that's it.

You know, I I really felt it was like 50-50 at a point because it was not like skill-wise. We knew that not skills wise, but the unknown and then a bunch of powers.

SPEAKER_02I don't think he tried to box. I I I think exactly what I said happened. Again, I bet Tio knockout because I told you this. I'm betting with my heart. I always bet him knockout. I don't care. So I'm always gonna bet Tio knockout to make it fun for me. But um, I said the decision is probably gonna go decision. He's gonna outbox the shit out of him. He's gonna probably pitch a shutout, whatever. Maybe he'll get a stoppage. He's gonna hit him so much. He didn't hit him too much, but what what Tio did do, which surprised me the body
Teo Outboxes Rolly And Survives
SPEAKER_02work? No, not even that. That was good, but his jab, dude, Tio's jab was insane, and it was going it went it. You gotta rewatch it because I've rewatched the fight and then caught on to this. Yo, he was punching him in the chest, and what you do versus a bigger opponent like crazy and stopping him in his tracks. He actually, according to CompuBox, Tio had the most that was the most jabs he's ever thrown in a fight and landed. So, what does that tell you? He came in there two box, and then on the the the actually um on the the ring interview, Tio said that. He's like, Yeah, my plan was you know to hit him in the chest and the arms, and and dude, it worked. So props to his team, you know what I'm saying? Like he he did that and it was stopping him in his tracks. And another thing is okay, he got hit in the fifth, he lost the fifth, right? He lost the fifth round. Yeah, that was the only round where Rolly threw over 15 punches. Yeah, because he had him hurt, or landed, landed, I'm sorry, landed over 15 punches.

SPEAKER_02And what what did T what I don't think Tio's getting enough respect for? Tio was hurt. Yeah, we he we agree, right? He he got he got shocked, and he wrapped up real quick. And he and he survived. He he said, Okay, I'm hurt. How do I get out of here? And what'd he do after that?

Honestly, I thought the game plan for him was gonna like after seeing like how he came out and fighting, it was work, it worked that you know he let TO be on the front foot. Because we we know that Tio on the back foot beat people easily, you know what I'm saying?

Yeah, so no, I mean, no, I'm saying when Tio's on the back foot. Yeah, Tio's on the back foot. But he like lately, but um, yeah, he um I didn't understand the the game plan when he he had him hurt. Now you don't go after him the next round, you know what I'm saying? You did not go after him after that. You went to just counter punch and like you.
SPEAKER_02But when has Roley ever done that? Ryan Garcia, right? When he knocked him down. When he knocked Ryan Garcia down, and I said this when he knocked Ryan Garcia down.

SPEAKER_02I don't and I like Roley a lot. I just don't I don't want to like sound disrespectful. I just he's not an a champion, he's not a champion boxer, he's not a champion level boxer at this level.

SPEAKER_02He had a belt and he he was a world champion, and he does enough. Maybe he's lower tier a level boxer, but he is not a champion level boxer. You know what? Speaking of champion, championship rounds, right? Championship rounds, yeah, they're very important. Do you know do you know how many punches Rolly landed in the 12th round?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he wasn't moving around too much. You know how many he landed?

SPEAKER_02If I didn't say his name and I didn't say a belt, and I just showed you all kinds of 12th rounds from championship boxers, and I was like, yo, this guy right here landed two. You know who that is? And I showed you pictures of all kinds of boxers or whatever, and I showed you Roley's picture, the 50-50 fight guy, that's not champion. Two two punches is not championship level boxing. And again, I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful, I respect all fighters, but like when the best is versus the best, like it was here, yeah. Um, yeah. TO man. And again, that the the jab will take you around the world, dude.
SPEAKER_00And the body shots was crazy. Like, even my cousin was like, Yo, damn, his body fucking red as hell.

SPEAKER_00And then he goes, he goes really go to the press comp and say, blood where his whole rib cage red. He said, Red where the rib cage was glowing. This guy is delusional. He did have a nice quote, but I had to find that shit. But it was a nice quote, but it was like um right message, uh, wrong messenger.

SPEAKER_00Yeah, it was just like something I gotta find it, but I saved it on TikTok. Um, it was just uh something about uh you know boxing, pretty much like you know, people win fights how he fought, right? How he fought, he felt like people be winning fights like that. I guess that's like a shot to Shakur or somebody. Like it was like, yo, what do the judges like? Like, you know what I'm saying? We don't know like if that fight, because one of them judges had a draw.
SPEAKER_02You know, to put things into perspective with what how good you think about the drawing?
SPEAKER_00A lot of a lot of pro uh one analysts and shit like yo, that was crazy.
SPEAKER_02One, there's just one pro that said it was a draw.

SPEAKER_02Um, what's his name? That tank felt and got the draw with. Got the draw. Yeah. Roach. He's the draw king. King. He's the only one that said it was a draw. The only one that said it was a draw. Nobody else said it was a draw. Everybody else was like, I don't know what people are watching. That's why your rage bait in me was getting me crazy. It was he had in boxing, you're gonna get hit. You're gonna get hit. It's how you it's it's it's a 12-round fight. Roley, I I rewatched the entire fight, soup to nuts today. Rolly won three rounds, and that's being nice, too clearly. Like, and I'm not even being biased. I watched it in silence. No, nobody talking, because that's how you have to do it. But to put things into perspective, um, Tio's jab was was the difference to me. Tio's jab was insane, and the jab doesn't have to land in the face always. You don't need that head popping jab. The fact that he targeted the chest, targeted the body, and it worked, and then hit him in the head here and there, it it is crazy to me, man. And and it worked for him, and nobody expected that from his jab is very underrated. And we didn't even see it. Like watching it live, drinking, frolicking. I didn't even see that shit. I rewatched it. I'm like, yo, his jab. He's controlling it with that jab, bro. Now, with that being said, his jab hand, his lead hand defensively, is why he gets hit with those check hooks. And he does need to fix that.
SPEAKER_00I was I was surprised about that with Roley, too. Does it give Roley some credit? I was surprised how that that check hook worked. Like, like I didn't understand. I didn't even know he had one of those, to be honest. He Shakor he really checking people, counting punching his hand. I didn't know he was a counter puncher.
SPEAKER_02So at all. Shakur versus uh De Los Santos. Remember when he had like one arm? He was fighting him with one arm? Yeah. And I don't know which arm it was, but I'm assuming it was his backhand.

SPEAKER_02He was fighting him with this just his jab versus De Los Santos. In that whole fight, it went the distance and he had one arm, Shakur Stevenson. He landed 46 jabs. In this fight, Teo landed 62 jabs versus a game champion. You know what I'm saying? So just to put things into perspective a little bit, and Shakur always lands his jab.
