SPEAKER_04:

Oh yo Willy, what up? Last show of the year 2025 is coming to an end. Welcome to the Spar Inboxing Podcast. We are live on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube. Sorry for the small screen on YouTube, but uh technology is it's kind of hard. It's kind of hard to do this shit. New year, still no producer. What up, Willie?

SPEAKER_01:

Damn, why is she so small?

SPEAKER_04:

I told you. Um, don't worry about it. Just uh yeah, just talk to me, man. What's up? What are you cold? Willie's over here in the the beefy cart heart, the sparring hoodie, one of the warmest hoodies ever, by the way. It's brick city and uh and the make boxing great again hat. That was one of the best gifts of the year.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

From our boy Teo. But we have a lot to talk about, all things boxing related as usual. If you are on TikTok, do what the cool kids say. Tap that screen, tap, tap, tap. Sounds so dumb saying that. Um, last show of the year, 2025. What a year it was, man. We are making slow progress, but progress, progress, nonetheless. That's good. Stock is rising. We got motion. We are a long-term stock.

SPEAKER_01:

We got motion.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh Shane says tacky. Um, yeah, let's just get right into it. We have uh some fights to stink. What what do you it's a cider?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we should stink.

SPEAKER_04:

It's good. We have some fights to review. Naya, in a way, versus uh David Picasso. Nakatani was on the undercard, lots of uh controversy there. But um, before we get the show started, uh today there was a tragedy in the boxing world, the boxing community. Yeah, um, Anthony Joshua had a personal tragedy. I hate to start the show off, the last show of the year, with some uh sad news. Luckily, he is alive, but unluckily, two of his friends passed away. Now, listen, this just proves to you that one day you could have it all, and literally a week later, it can all be taken from you. Life is short. Party, party, party, spend your money, don't save. That's my motto. So uh that being said, it makes sense in this situation. Anthony Joshua beat Jake Paul, he's on top of the world. A week later, right? It's been a week, two weeks, maybe.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Um, he gets in a crazy car accident, apparently. And two of his good friends, who are his trainer and one of his other, I guess a boxing trainer and a personal trainer, passed away, unfortunately. Uh, I hope I hope Anthony Joshua gets with it mentally. That's gotta be tough mentally. Yeah, and yeah, you know.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I hope I hope we get past this because this is rough, man. And maybe it motivates him for his next fight, or maybe you don't fight at all after that.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, like I'm okay if he leaves after this. It's listen, boxing is more mental than physical at that level. Once you're at that elite level, mental matters, and Anthony Joshua has had lapses mentally already. So going forward, it's gonna be real tough to come back from that. Listen, death is in all of our families, our friends, our close ones. We all deal with it, but to deal with something like that, like a tragedy instantly, is is very, very tough to come back to. I'm glad he's okay. Now, all that being said, like while while it's very, very sad, and and like I don't wish that on my worst enemies, right? He's gonna have every girl wanting him even more than he already did. You know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01:

Man, that's what they say in the comments.

SPEAKER_04:

Like, now he's got a sob story, a real one.

SPEAKER_01:

Bro, these girls is crazy, and like this dude, a sexy man in a car crash with no shirt on. Like, what?

SPEAKER_04:

Oh my goodness, dude. Like, I'm not trying to make fun or make make like a joke about the situation.

SPEAKER_01:

This next thing was the best thing that ever happened.

SPEAKER_04:

He's gonna be dripping in S E X. That might help with his mentals, like Chris Brown numbers, Michael B. Jordan numbers. He is gonna, they're gonna be flocking to him now because he has a real sad story. You could like make a make a documentary on this, and and he's a good looking dude. Like, oh god. I I uh nah, I'm not gonna say that. I was gonna say I got a few friends out of the, you know.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, all right.

SPEAKER_04:

Nah, that's fucked up. Again, I hope he comes back mentally and and the hot girls will help. Um Shane says, bro, his friends die, and the first thing you think of is he might get even more puseta. Uh it wasn't the first thing, you know. I said my condolences. Um thinking, look what you just typed. I'm not even gonna read it. Just read read the uh anyway. Yeah, um, listen, he he's gonna clean house now. That that's that's like he couldn't wasn't already, but he's gonna just clean house. And again, uh I'm not trying to make light of the situation, but in our possessed minds, that that did come to my mind. Like, damn.

SPEAKER_01:

No, you can see that in the comments though. That's crazy. Really?

SPEAKER_04:

I didn't even look, they were they were going crazy.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, girls, they love AJ for some reason now.

SPEAKER_04:

Think of how much they're gonna love him more now. Like tragic car accident, his friends passed away, which is very sad. Oh you're gonna fucking go like dude. This is a weird concept. I know. All right, anyway, again, condolences to him. I hope he comes back. I hope his mentals are strong enough. Again, mental is the hardest part at that level. Hus do love tragedy almost as much as they love dudes already in a relationship. Oh man, that's sound like Shane's got some tragedy.

SPEAKER_00:

They love dogs too. Yeah, they do.

SPEAKER_04:

Um, okay, we got the uh TFI Molope, Shakore Stevenson, uh projected. Well, not projected, the undercard dropped. And oh man, his comments, our comments are going a little crazy. Um I'm not gonna I can't answer all of you. Uh, but hey, some some oh, we're getting bots now, too. That's pretty cool. Hi, have you heard of sleep token? No, I haven't, but don't tell me, I don't care. Um, let's keep it rolling. Last show of the year.

SPEAKER_00:

Let's just get into our shit. Yeah, let's talk about our year. Let's go. We got a million views.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's talk about our uh our our year, man. We got some interviews. Uh Tio actually sat down and spoke to us. That was cool, wasn't on an airplane. Uh that might have been the same year, though. We might have had that, that might have been the beginning. I don't know. Whatever, dude. It was good. Uh Shane came on the show a bunch.

SPEAKER_01:

What do you mean? That was like towards the end. It was almost near Shakur fight. Like it was he was right on before they announced it.

SPEAKER_04:

No, no, when he was on the plane, I'm saying. Oh, the plane. Was that this year?

SPEAKER_01:

I think it was. I think that was last year.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't know. But listen, man. Uh, our our friend Punchlines was uh regular on the show. We had him going.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, remember that guy.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh thanks for playing shirts. We we're we're we're what's it called? What is it? What's the word I'm looking for?

SPEAKER_01:

Brandon Bassett.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, we're brand and two two bro two companies put their faith in us to help them with sales. I don't know if we're helping, but we're trying. That being said, new year is coming, Empire Nutrition.

SPEAKER_01:

At least we ain't stopping, yo.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, yeah, definitely. But again, Empire Nutrition, man. Uh, shout out to them. They they they put faith in us to shout out their brand. So uh, yeah, that's that's that was a good year. My phone is vibing.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's been a it's been a great year. Um, yeah, the this TO shit was the most TFE most sent us hats.

SPEAKER_04:

Um actually, as the fight gets closer, I'm gonna give away some of those hats. Um, I only have two, but I'm gonna give away. I'm keeping the white one. I like that one.

SPEAKER_01:

I kept I only I kept both black one in there.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I got them too, but as that fight gets closer, we'll we'll get into that. You want to just get into the undercard of that fight before before we get rolling here?

SPEAKER_01:

Um nah, we have to talk about this week and get it that shit out the way. Okay, it wasn't nothing. I mean, it was something just it was it was something, but it was kind of nothing because the shit is too early for me. I missed the whole shit, and I wasn't paying for it.

SPEAKER_04:

Like, people get people get upset about that, but you can't blame them, dude. That guy is killing it in Japan. Like, yo, there's a whole world out there.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, he is they love it out there, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

He is crushing it out there. And listen, he brought the stars out too. Usick was over there, yeah. Triple G was in the crowd.

SPEAKER_01:

I miss my guy, Triple G man. Damn, yeah. It was people over there watching great.

SPEAKER_04:

Of course, dude. We we're very sheltered here in America. We think it all revolves around us, but it doesn't. Um wait, wait, where was it at? Japan. It was at Japan. Oh no, no, I'm sorry, it was in Riyadh. Riyadh. I'm sorry, it wasn't broke.

SPEAKER_01:

That's this that's why I didn't, yeah. That's why I didn't get I literally didn't, I didn't understand how. Um I thought it was in Riyadh, right? And it was so late. It was mat it was, I mean, it was early. Yeah, but saying why y'all can't do the half.

SPEAKER_04:

Think of how many because because think of how many people are watching over there. Man, he did that, they did that for him for the Japanese.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know, the time zones might be close too over there.

SPEAKER_04:

Japanese, yeah, and it might be close time zones. I don't know what they are. I'm not uh his uh worldly enough to understand the whole shit was dope though.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, samurai thing, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

That was I guess that was a little gimmicky, a little uh I don't want to say racist, but uh a little uh what's it what's the word I'm looking for? Uh not pre no, not prejudice. Um what's it called? Like what's the word I'm looking for? Stereotype, stereotype, yeah. A little bit of stereotype, like was it the year of the samurai or some shit? I don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know, something a lot of Asian fighters though, they should have it was like Mexican.

SPEAKER_04:

They did that once too, though.

SPEAKER_01:

They did it Mexican Asian, the whole fight. To me, that was a little the whole cards, like a little odd, but whatever. Um the Mexicans came to fight, they ruined the ruin. Oh, wait, as usual, they come and ruin shit up.

SPEAKER_04:

Latinos come in and ruin everything. Damn it, these damn Latinos, they come in and ruin. I'm just kidding.

SPEAKER_01:

Um, yeah, yeah, they came in there trying to ruin a fucking thing.

SPEAKER_04:

But all right, let's talk about you want to talk about you think ring five was promoted that good.

SPEAKER_01:

It was too much shit going on.

SPEAKER_04:

What do you mean?

SPEAKER_01:

Like the ring five, like it was. I feel like it wasn't promoted, like it usually not rings or was this ring five?

SPEAKER_04:

I don't know. This was okay, and ring six is the to fight. Then okay. Uh nah, it was promoted good. I think they just promoted to their clientele. So, like, like I said, it was the right time, or like you said, it was the right time. The time was Japanese time for the samurai, whatever the the month of the samurai, whatever the hell they did.

SPEAKER_01:

But my boy Jimmy said he loved it that it was boxing out early. I might yo, that's I don't wake up that early.

SPEAKER_04:

I I I did rewatch it right after, but what do you want to talk about first? Inway or uh Nakatani?

SPEAKER_01:

Uh Nakatani.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I mean it was Nakatani versus Hernandez. There was some controversy in this one, man. Can't have can't have a fight in boxing or a card in boxing without controversy.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, a 118. Yo, this is 110 now. All them rounds is close. I mean, I feel like Nakatani he he he racked up like the first four rounds, and then after that, it got escaped.

SPEAKER_04:

Very, very I think first, yeah, it was close either way. Either way, I did think Nakatani did enough to win. It was his home turf tech basically. I mean, unfortunately, enough to uh I think he did enough to him, but it was not 118, 110. Hell no, no, it could have been a draw, but you want to know who that judge was.

SPEAKER_01:

Nah, you tell me. I don't know none of these judges.

SPEAKER_04:

Nawaf Al-Mahamid, the only Saudi judge on the card. And here I go on my rant because this is the problem with boxing. Take it away. Take it away. We we need to make boxing credible. You can't make boxing credible. Uh, you you can't make boxing credible when you keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again. Now, the Saudis, the ring and Turk Al-Ashiki, he's been doing great putting these fights together, but when you have things like this, when the everyone knows the big fight down the road is Nakatani versus Inoue, and and they're on the same card, and then the one Saudi judge has it 118-110 is very, very odd to me. And again, the the I believe the right man won, but it was not 118-110. And here's what I mean. Like, say I'm watching this fight with with somebody that's not into boxing, and I'm trying to explain to them, just like the belt situation, and then I'm trying to explain to them, and they go, wait, that was not that that far. I go, Yeah, that's that's a real judge there. And listen, he's he's new judge, I guess, but oh god, this is a nonsense. That was a nonsense 115-113, perfect to me.

SPEAKER_01:

Bro, if you can watch that fight with one eye and still get anything close to 118, you're not gonna get close. And you know what?

SPEAKER_04:

Nakatani had one eye in that fight, and and and then if it wasn't that he would have been stopped.

SPEAKER_01:

That's another thing. Another thing, you know how you usually see people get checked on. Yeah, I think only one time he got checked on that eye.

SPEAKER_04:

I wonder why.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, because they didn't want that shit to get stopped. They know what the money was fucking that shit was fucking look like Martin. One of Martin Martin got beat up.

SPEAKER_04:

Century after century, like Tommy Hearns, boxing continues to make the same mistakes, and and boxing's not dead, there's been great fights, but it's stagnant. And again, one judge was different than the others, and it was a sorty card, technically, and the sorty judge sees the money. I'm sure someone said, uh, you know, and and the same thing when Turk went up for his boy Shariz and and went and whispered to the judges for where's Carlos Adames. So there's a lot like you can't keep making the same mistakes, it's all about credibility. It is you can't respect the sport when there's no respect, and it's not the fighters' fault. Yeah, it's not the boxers' fault. It's just very crazy to me, man. Crazy to see. I do believe the right man won, but it was not 118, 110. You're the judge. Like when you go to court, right? The judge is like, sir, yes, sir, sir. Everyone's showing respect to the judge. So technically in boxing, you're the judge, you're the expert.

SPEAKER_01:

Poor Sebastian, man. Sebastian, man. He put on a fight. Nah, I mean, dude, he he's gonna come away with this. He he was throwing a hell of punches, you know what I'm saying? He was he was looked like uh a Williams and Peta. I want to see how much I want to like how much punches.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm not taking anything away from Nakatani, but again, I think you just get a little too comfortable. You you're you're roughing dudes. You he hasn't been in a hard fight in a long time, so he's he's just been the wrong message, yeah. He's just annihilating dudes, and that's boxing, man. That's why we love it. But it was not 118, 110.

SPEAKER_01:

Hernandez did his thing, like it was crazy. He like, I don't know if Nakatani like really wanted to fight that fight. He was just forced to fight that fight, and then oh man, those uppercuts, yo. I didn't even see like that. I haven't seen somebody fight like that in so long. It's just like uppy, uppy, right hook, left hook, up, up right. He threw he was throwing flurries. Oh my god, and he attacked that eye.

SPEAKER_04:

He saw the eye and whatever. No, no, you can't not. Oh my god, look like you haven't like make a water balloon, and like there's a little bubble like yo.

SPEAKER_01:

He just wanted to pop my my daughter. Love those squishy toys now. You know how you just squeeze the shit out of them, then you have that little knot.

SPEAKER_04:

Boy, that's just oh my goodness, yeah. But hey, I mean, again, that was the only controversy.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, he could have ruined them playing. Unfortunately, it could have been a draw.

SPEAKER_04:

It nobody's really talking about how good of a fight it was and how great of a fight. They're all talking about what the F this judge just do.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, the that when you hear that, oh man, and he probably don't speak no English. So when they just do they have do they have like different you know how we hear it?

SPEAKER_04:

Uh probably like the sap button, uh-huh. The sap button, remember those? Like to change the language.

SPEAKER_01:

You can do that.

SPEAKER_04:

That's called the sap button, dude. It was on the TVs, like the bubble TVs.

SPEAKER_01:

But I understand, like when they there, do they say everything in English? You know how they be having announcers. Yo, oh, I wanted to shout out that dude, man, the freaking announcer that always he he speaks fluence. Um the old dude. Um I don't know. The OG. Let's get ready to um bro. He can speak in now.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm having a brain fog. I know who you're talking about, bro.

SPEAKER_01:

He his uh his uh his his his language, like I love that he's looking old. Yo, he can speak Spanish so fluent. Oh my god, son, that's crazy. He be rolling his bars.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's all right. Well, what's what's your new year's resolution?

SPEAKER_01:

I'm gonna speak Spanish. You're like that damn judge.

SPEAKER_00:

You're that damn judge.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm stealing it. Yo, you should, man. You better have some Spanish kids, man. Yeah, I got the second one, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Puerto Rican Spanish, right? Yeah, yeah. What do you mean? It's like well, it's like American Spanish, though.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, one is Puerto Rican, one is a Salvador, man. Willy, really, uh damn.

SPEAKER_04:

Good for you, man.

SPEAKER_02:

Hey, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

What? Um check the TikTok comments while you're looking because that's your job. Um, yeah, so that was a great fight. I mean, again, I didn't wake up for it, but I did watch it. Uh, and then you know, but then we had the monster.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, so what's up with the monster in his the hand wrap thing? What was that about?

SPEAKER_04:

That was all BS, bro.

SPEAKER_01:

You think so?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, it was part of the game. When you gotta use every little trick in the book when when you verse the best, like what was it?

SPEAKER_01:

What was that trick? What was it was the trick?

SPEAKER_04:

He said the the tape has to be away from the knuckles because if you put it on the knuckles, like the tape, I think it's like less, I don't know the exact number, but it's like an inch. If you put it on the knuckles, it gets hard with the sweat, almost like paper mache, which is illegal. That's why they watch with the hand wraps. And don't I I might be a little off on this, but basically you can't tape on the knuckles, so it makes sense. And they're like, No, you can't do that, blah blah blah. It was it was just it's games, dude. It's games.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, and look how cheating sometimes.

SPEAKER_04:

No, dude, come on.

SPEAKER_01:

That's like the first time we ever see really seen the the glove check. I didn't like from the video, bro.

SPEAKER_04:

He hit so hard it don't matter.

SPEAKER_01:

It doesn't matter. He didn't put him down.

SPEAKER_04:

You need to tape one hand behind your back, he didn't put him down, yeah. And but you see how those body shots he didn't put them down. It still made that sound on my TV.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Picasso, those body shots, but he still didn't put him down, he won every single round.

SPEAKER_04:

Not sketchy at all. You really think so?

SPEAKER_01:

It might be sketchy.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's just say when when Nakatani in a way fight, that eye of Nakatani looked much bigger.

SPEAKER_01:

He's gonna be wild and I don't know if he's gonna get aggravated to that weight class, man. Yeah, um, he might need another fight.

SPEAKER_04:

But listen, Picasso was tough, dude. He was he was durable, but clearly, clearly, clearly okay. So he didn't put him down, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

But he swept him, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Every single round, and then again, there was some kind of a judge gave Picasso like two or three rounds. I was like, I don't think so, but whatever. Um, there was no like reckless moments. There is no time where you were like, uh, he kind of showed the like he showed he could go 12, punch 12.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, you know what I yo, his slips is crazy, bro.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, he's got defense.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean his slips is crazy, but it's like they both him and Nakatani do the kind of the same thing what they they lean their head one side, just keep going that same way keep on doing that slip like that. They're fast enough to work, and they still get it like Wilder.

SPEAKER_04:

Wilder used to do oh no, I'm sorry, Fury used to do that. Fury used to lean the same way every freaking time and get caught, and he but he's not quick enough.

SPEAKER_01:

He's yo, they he's slipping making a miss every time. I'm like, what the hell is that hard to hit him?

SPEAKER_04:

Bro, he bro, Picasso was eating those body shots. I give him props for that. Man, he gained a lot of respect in my book. Prior to the hand wraps. I I read something though. No, I I read something. Remember, we were cooking or people were cooking Crawford for going the distance with Madramov. Yeah, nobody's really cooking in a way, like like you don't see anybody really cooking in a For going the distance with Picasso and I'm black.

SPEAKER_01:

Come on. And it's like the same, it's like the same calorie. Hey, call up. You gotta call out.

SPEAKER_04:

Maybe it's the opposite. Maybe people just think Terrence Crawford was that much better, that much more elite.

SPEAKER_01:

What? This is this guy was sitting there for um uh anyway. Who Picasso? He was sitting there for him now, like waiting for his punches, yeah. Yeah, he was sitting, he was there right there to get hit, and he couldn't do it.

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, whatever. I mean, once Crawford had to catch um, yeah, and Madumov, and they do hit harder, but like Madramov could crack, bro. Yeah, and it's awkward, yeah. So it's gonna catch you like off guard. I just found that to be a little funny. Like, and then yo, let's talk about Crawford. Crawford retired, he'll be back.

SPEAKER_01:

We didn't really talk about that, did it?

SPEAKER_04:

Nah, we didn't. Oh Crawford apparently retired, but which makes sense why he didn't pay for the WP.

SPEAKER_01:

He's on live streams and everything.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, he'll be back though, because he knows the money's about to run out.

SPEAKER_01:

But he ain't running out of money no time soon. He'll be back, you know. He probably owned a whole Omaha Omaha Stakes.

SPEAKER_04:

He don't own Omaha, dude. They pulled him over. He owns Omaha, he's a bad owner. Yeah, if I'll that dude at gunpoint, you know, own anything. Um I'd retire too, man. Like, what the hell? Small too.

SPEAKER_01:

My city don't overlap me. I'm retiring. This is bullshit. He's on live streams now, so they definitely gonna know him.

SPEAKER_04:

Let's try and stay on track. So, in a way, we're talking about Naya In a way versus David Picasso for all the belts at Super Bantam weight 122 pounds. Now, Brian. One thing, one thing I noticed with Inway that I haven't in the past, he's mentioning Jesse. I don't know if people are asking him, but he's mentioning Bam Rodriguez a lot, a lot more, man. A lot and a lot more. And then Robert Garcia tweeted or X'd, whatever you call it now. Yeah, uh, he came out and he said, Um, we'll see him soon in regards to Inway. I'm gonna tell you this right now. If if this year we get Tia Fimo Lopez, 2026, in 2026, if we get Tia Fimo Lopez Shakur and we get uh Bam Inway, I'm getting a spar in tattoo.

SPEAKER_01:

And what? Yeah, no way we're getting that this year.

SPEAKER_04:

It's the early 2026 didn't even start, not 2025, 2026.

SPEAKER_01:

It's not how it's not if it does, yo.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm getting a spar in tattoo. I don't care. You're gonna get that?

SPEAKER_01:

Why are you shaking my hand, bro?

SPEAKER_04:

Just to keep my word, damn.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm just saying, like, wow, I'd love to do that.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, I know, but like, I'm I'm gonna do it because that because that's how yo, since we started this podcast, what you gonna get a hold on, hold on. I'm gonna get a sparring tramp stamp. Yo, since we started this fucking podcast, though, bro, boxing has been putting up fights. We're like, good luck to this boxing shit.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, Chris, I'm crying.

SPEAKER_04:

Chris, what do you say?

SPEAKER_01:

Who Chris Local Dads, man?

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, what'd he say?

SPEAKER_01:

I know I'm a witness to that.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay, witness it.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, he's gonna have a tramp stamp.

SPEAKER_04:

No, no, I didn't I didn't shake on the tramp stamp. Yeah, you did. Nah, uh, that's why um but yeah, great fight. If in a way bam happens, dude, that's fight party. Yes, that's fight party. That'll be the one.

SPEAKER_01:

That's not even fight party for a lot of people.

SPEAKER_04:

I know, but like that's for the boxing heads. That's fight party.

SPEAKER_01:

That's fight party.

SPEAKER_04:

That's fight party. Oh, yeah, that's it. That's it, man. What do you what do you thank for?

SPEAKER_01:

This shit really stinks.

SPEAKER_04:

You got the champagne one. It tastes good though, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Wait, Puma does already have a trance stamp.

SPEAKER_04:

Shut up, y'all. Get off my live.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Um, you want to get into the undercard?

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Announcements came out on the undercard. Yeah, pretty, pretty dope undercard.

SPEAKER_04:

And we got our tickets locked in. Yeah, we're not gonna be on the floor, but we will be in the building. We might be on the floor. It's not out yet. It's not a lot, it's not too much. Not definite, not definite, but we will see. We will see. Um, I was so mad though, because like I'm watching the prices come down then. The resale prices on Tiafima Lopez versus Core Stevenson, MSG bigger. Yo, prices are coming down. I'm like, yes, all right, all right. They got to like$1200 for like this VIP section or something. I'm like, cool, cool, cool. That next day, I'm like, all right, I'm gonna wait it out. Next day, undercard drops, boom, prices skyrocket again. Resale. I'm like, God, how is that even like allowed? It should be locked in. Like the minute the price goes, it should be locked in. Shouldn't even be allowed to resale.

SPEAKER_01:

Nah, resale is lit, though. We should do that for anything.

SPEAKER_04:

I know we should, but on the undercard, uh, why the prices, why the prices jumped. We have local Brooklyn kid, big kid, big adult, big baby. Jarrell Miller is fighting Kingsley. Ibe Ibea. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01:

What do you know about Kingsley? I don't know nothing about him.

SPEAKER_04:

Um, I know he's been knocked out before by lesser competition. He's kind of like uh, you know, big dude, heavyweight, not like a nobody, not like a journeyman, but he's you know, yeah, Miller should win with the ease, honestly, but it's a get back fight for him. You know, he hasn't fought in a while. Um, coming off his I think the last time the last time he fought was Dubois, I think.

SPEAKER_01:

So 10 rounds, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

So good for him. But then another Brooklyn guy on the undercard, which we thought was in Puerto Rico. His dad thought it was in Puerto Rico. I think even Bruce thought it was Bruce Carrington Jr. thought it was in Puerto Rico, but it is not in Puerto Rico versus Carlos Castro for the vacant WBC featherweight title. Finally, Bruce Shushu Carrington is getting his title shot. New year, new you in the new shoo shoe. I can't wait, bro. In the new we are excited for that. We're happy for Bruce. And um yo, we we dead ass were we almost were about to buy tickets because tickets were so hot. We're gonna go to Puerto Rico.

SPEAKER_01:

It's almost cheaper to go to cheaper to go to Puerto Rico, man.

SPEAKER_04:

Will fam first says shoo shoo, and he knows he's you're gonna be in the building, Will? Are you gonna be in the building?

SPEAKER_01:

No, Will's gonna be in the building. What kind of question is that?

SPEAKER_04:

Well, I don't know, man. These fucking tickets are stupid.

SPEAKER_00:

We'll go on limited money and kids. So it's like, what?

SPEAKER_04:

Um yeah, so so that's gonna be fun, man. Bruce Carrington. Um, and then a good these, I mean, I think Austin Williams is gonna get ran through. Carlos Adams, who we mentioned earlier, versus uh uh Austin Williams for the WBC middleweight world title at 160, 160 pounds.

SPEAKER_01:

I'm surprised to see Carlos Daves on another uh ring card.

SPEAKER_04:

I mean, of course, though. He's got following the money. I think he steamrolls Austin Williams. Austin Williams has some power, but we'll we'll get into it when we break down these fights. Um, I think Carlos Adams steamrolls him, honestly. Uh, and then it keeps getting better. Keyshawn Davis on the comeback versus Willie's boy.

SPEAKER_01:

That was the quickest retirement ever.

SPEAKER_04:

Jermaine Ortiz, and I gotta give Keyshawn some props, man. Not a get busy fight. This is a real opponent, man, in Jermaine Ortiz. And listen, depending on what keys headspace Keyshawn is in, Jermaine could play big upset here. The one thing I don't understand is, and and I want to get him on the show and talk about it, right? Is why Jermaine Ortiz versus um Africa didn't happen. Because he has a belt. So why did that not happen? I don't know. I don't understand what happened.

SPEAKER_01:

Don't answer the goddamn DMs.

SPEAKER_04:

Yo, keep keep trying. You know, I wanted to get him on to talk about it because that's kind of weird. And apparently Jermaine was left in the dark on it, so he had no idea. So that's kind of odd, but Keishon kind of slipped in. It's good. Apparently, Keyshawn's been sparring with um Shakur. Shakor.

SPEAKER_01:

That's that's crazy work.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, that's good.

SPEAKER_01:

That's crazy work. Getting each other ready for this fight is nuts.

SPEAKER_04:

And then the main event, obviously, as you all know, TFI Mopez versus Shakur.

SPEAKER_01:

I didn't even know Jermaine was at Jermaine is at one 140. He moved up 140. Yeah. I thought he was oh, I thought um, which McCall is going straight to 147. Who Keyshawn?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, everyone says shit, bro. Keyshawn moved up, though. This is moving up for him, too.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it's 140, but they're gonna be right in the fucking this is like they're not even gonna fight each other. They just follow each other for a second. What do you mean? Who keyson and um shakur? No, you know, even gonna fight each other.

SPEAKER_04:

Shakur is not gonna fight his his friends. That's what he said.

SPEAKER_01:

So he so when Tio was coming back. Yeah, but he said he's gonna go right back down.

SPEAKER_04:

He said who Keishon?

SPEAKER_01:

Um Shakur.

SPEAKER_04:

Oh, so 135. You don't usually go down though.

SPEAKER_01:

If he wins he said he's gonna go back down.

SPEAKER_04:

I don't think so, bro. If he wins at 140, gets the ring belt, and uh, what is it, the WBO? Like, no way.

SPEAKER_01:

That's what he said.

SPEAKER_04:

Nah, no way. You're not gonna you're not gonna go right back down, you're gonna stay at 140, man.

SPEAKER_01:

He's not gonna stay.

SPEAKER_04:

They're all like that whole generation is moving up. Why would he go back down? The whole generation, seriously, like that whole generation's going to 147. Like, why would he move down? That don't make sense.

SPEAKER_01:

Why would he do that?

SPEAKER_04:

You know what I'm noticing though moving up as as like as the TO, you know, the TO like he got quiet. Yo, that's I don't know if he's playing head games.

SPEAKER_01:

He got quiet, but I haven't seen him. I DM'd him.

SPEAKER_04:

He's on social media because I DM'd him. I was like, yo, we're gonna be in the building, blah blah blah. All right, good, and and gave it a little check mark or whatever. But yo, that quiet TO man. Oh, that's I hope it's a focus. What's that over? We might be on the floor, we gotta see.

SPEAKER_01:

Cuz it's like if I wear this hat, man.

SPEAKER_04:

The only thing is the only thing is on the floor, like when you're on the floor, you're really gonna wear a suit, you wear though. I don't know what I'm doing, bro. I'm I might just go naked, I might just paint, I might wear body paint. If you do that, I New York City, man. It's New York City, bro. Freaking body paint people everywhere. Yeah, wow. Imagine, but uh yeah, Willie and I are still working on our tickets. Quiet teal, man. Quiet teal. Nothing. Usually I think I think what he's doing is if like he wins, right? It's massive win. It's your pound for pound. Whoever wins this fight is in the pound for pound talks. No doubt. No doubt. Yeah, and I think what he's doing is if he does win, he's gonna post like all the all the behind the scenes stuff that's being recorded. Because you know he's got that dude with him. You gotta happen. Yeah, so man. Quiet Teo. I'm excited. Are you excited? Um, dude, I this is my Christmas. This is a hard this is my yo, speaking of Christmas, like I this is a hard test for the uh wifey got a little mad at me, bro. She got a little mad at me.

SPEAKER_01:

For what?

SPEAKER_04:

Because Christmas, I kept saying, All right, I mean two more gifts. Where's the teo tickets?

SPEAKER_00:

You thought she was gonna Teo tickets for you?

SPEAKER_04:

Yo, Will, same thing. We didn't get ours either yet, but we're definitely gonna be in the building again. Probably not on the floor, but you know, we're gonna be in the building. Yo, we're gonna be in the city too. Well, if we go or not, Friday night, the before the fight. Uh we're gonna be in the city and try to get into the weigh-in or whatever's going on. We're gonna try and get somewhere. Um, we might just mingle around the city, you know how we do it.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yo, this is talking for itself. It's not summertime no more. It's wintertime. Look at you.

SPEAKER_02:

Look at you warming up. I'm cold as hell in this fucking basement. Turn the heat on. Help! Help!

SPEAKER_04:

It's not this is the studio, this isn't the basement. Oh, studio, help. Uh, yeah, that's really it. Uh, not much. Um, I'm dying over here. I'm drinking this weird whiskey. Yeah, we can chill, bro. Again, if you are gonna drink alcohol or whiskey, go to Empire Nutrition. Um, great product.

SPEAKER_01:

So, which which fight, which fight, what fight other than T O and and Shakor, are you looking forward to?

SPEAKER_04:

You know what I'm looking forward to, man. Come on, good friend of the show, friend of ours. Shushu Carrington, man. Come on. First belt. He's been calling, he's been calling for the belt for two years. Is this guy Carlos Castro? Any yeah, he's he's good, he's big for the weight. Um, he could box. You know, anybody with the last name Castro in a belt shot is coming coming for it. But I think Shushu is more than ready. He wants this belt, and then I want to see him unify, man. I want to see him unify all the belts.

SPEAKER_01:

Damn, already shit. Yeah, he's gonna get his first belt going straight to Unify.

SPEAKER_04:

Yo, uh, Will brings up a good point. Um, there's a fight coming up at the Barclays that that I posted about.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh the non-selling, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh Will says we can sit at ringside at the Barclays for ten dollars. And then you still won't be able to see the ring, man. I hate the barclays.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, I ain't gonna lie. It was fun watching uh uh Matias fight, but yeah, I don't know if I would go.

SPEAKER_04:

That fight is uh Subriel Matias. Who the hell is he facing? Um the hell is his name?

SPEAKER_01:

What day is that?

SPEAKER_04:

It's January 10th, I think, or 9th. Um wow. Um, I don't think I'm gonna be here. Dalton Smith. Dalton Smith, Subreel Matias versus Dalton Smith. Subreel Matias, man. I again we talked about it a little bit on Instagram and stuff. I don't know who promoted this fight. I I never heard of this promotion. It's with pay-per-view.com though, but uh it's not a pay-per-view fight one at all. Subril Matias, I I I don't know what the promotion is, it's one I've never really heard of, honestly. Um, and they clearly on the undercard. The undercard is there's not nobody really. There's one one guy that but he's new, you know what I mean? It's not like uh he's up and coming, Falcone. He's from New York. Um hold on, let me see. Let me see. Or I'm sorry, not Falcone. I'm an idiot. Keith Cologne. Keith Cologne is on the undercard. Yeah, the TO shit. He's 8 0. He's a he's a good fighter, great, great fighter on the way, but like again, it's not there's nobody there that's pay-per-view.

SPEAKER_01:

You have that guy is small.

SPEAKER_04:

You have like the WBO Intercontinental fight at Super Light.

SPEAKER_01:

Yo, is is uh Zaquin is fighting on uh uh he's fighting in the New York and I'm in the LG.

SPEAKER_04:

No, he's fighting soon though. He's got a fight coming up too. Oh damn. Not in this card. Oh man, lift up your damn willie just broke everything. New year. New year. Uh there's a paper towel behind there, like a rag.

SPEAKER_01:

I don't know what the fuck I was doing.

SPEAKER_04:

Playing around Willie just for those listening, Willie just spilt his drink everywhere. You see the the like gray rag thing? Just use that. Um, yeah, that was good though. You got quick hands. Willie, you moved the um you moved the the mic fucking volume thing. Yeah, just leave that there. Uh yeah, card sucks. Card's horrible. Subreel Matias versus Dalton Smith. Subre Matias popped hot for um what whatever that stuff is that that makes you punch more and gives you more output. And apparently though, it was so minute levels that they cleared him to fight. So WBC, I think it's WBC. Yeah, WBC said he could fight, and the New York Athletic Commission said he could fight. So I mean uh I guess it was really minute levels. What the hell is Vada? Yo, Vada Vada's almost test they're testing so good, they're kind of losing credibility.

SPEAKER_01:

Like you said, Vada, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Vada's testing so good, they're like like they're finding shit. Oh, you did Kilcaine in 1980.

SPEAKER_01:

Like, what the fuck? Vada is something different, huh?

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, because again, he got cleared by the New York State Athletic Commission, which they're tough, they're tough to get cleared by. So, I mean, uh, it had to be very minute levels. Um, but again, I don't know why they're having this fight at the Barclays. Uh it's just silly, silly, stupid. Pedro Campa's on the card that that's the guy Tio beat in his debut as that 140. It just doesn't make sense. Um, we we probably if you want to go, we could probably go to this fight, will it? I'm not gonna beat it. Okay.

SPEAKER_01:

In Jersey.

SPEAKER_04:

Fresh Productions Fresh Productions of the Chair competition in Jersey? Juan Ivan Orango from Fresh Productions. Sorry, what do you do in Jersey? Yeah, no, oh, he's Puerto Rican. So big Puerto Rican. Pedro Campa, Nestor Bravo. Crazy. Why he would have this in Brooklyn, I do not know. Um, fight like this should have been in the Hulu Theater, honestly. Hulu Theater would have been perfect. Um, but again, they probably wouldn't have made money because the Hulu's expensive, but so is Barclays. So yeah, Barclays is even worse. Yeah, it's I hate going to Brooklyn too. Well, I like going to Brooklyn just.

SPEAKER_01:

They got the um they got the grilled cheese oxtail what oxtail grilled cheese in the stadium, yeah. At the Barclays, really, yeah.

SPEAKER_04:

Shit hit. Sounds good, actually. Sounds really good.

SPEAKER_01:

Oxtail cheesesteak. I mean, uh, oxtail um grilled cheese. Fire.

SPEAKER_04:

Uh yeah. That's really it, though, man. Quick show, new year coming. What's your what's up? What should be our podcast goals for the year? Um, we gotta get uh I gotta get the Instagram followers up, man. We get great feedback, great feedback, yeah. Um like, subscribe, follow, man.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I think we need to be more consistent with the reels, bro. Every day we can just drop one, yeah, just you know, a different soul.

SPEAKER_04:

I like the quality, though. We got our reels have great quality, bro. Yeah, yeah, we got great quality. I know, but like what it's hard, it's hard. I think you know what I think we should do, honestly, while we're on the air. You know those days where like I don't feel like recording, like yeah, me neither. Fuck it, just record.

SPEAKER_01:

I guess it's me every day. Damn, damn.

SPEAKER_04:

Nah, it's fun when you get here, though.

SPEAKER_01:

No, it is it is like once you get here, I had to go to work the next day.

SPEAKER_04:

It's like the gym.

SPEAKER_01:

Like you go to you don't want to go to the gym, but that's what that's one of my revolutions from it. Yeah, as a as a sparring.

SPEAKER_04:

Speaking of that, boxing related, I just scooped a new heavy bag. I got you them new gloves from Super Rare. We gotta once that heavy bag gets here, bro. Don't you have one though? Yeah, those are cheap though. Yeah, no cheap. But yeah, let's let's start working out more, man. Um, yeah, that's really it, man.

SPEAKER_01:

Great year, great year. Yeah, so what are we doing? Like, so what are you the next what's the next the new goal? What's the like for the podcast?

SPEAKER_04:

Yo, let's yeah, let's make it where we at let's try to get 5k Instagram followers.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, that's a good one.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah, 5k. We're far, we're really far, but 5k.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, we just gotta up the volume, baby. I want to go to more fights because that's where we get. Like, god damn. I want to go to more fights.

SPEAKER_02:

SPEAKER_04:

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, you're wild. I'm about to have me another kid.

SPEAKER_04:

I ain't going to no. Damn, that's true. I fucking hate kids.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, and and uh that's why you're not being my godfather. This one. Damn, it's all good. Maybe the next one. How many the boy?

SPEAKER_04:

No, you're done. You're getting snipped, bro. No, yeah, one more. I gotta get a boy, bro. You you're everyone that tries to get a boy just has a

SPEAKER_01:
