David Benavidez versus Anthony Yarde, Devin Haney versus Brian Norman, um, Abdullah Mason versus Sammy Noakes, and uh yeah, whatever else we want to talk about uh going forward.

SPEAKER_02:Um it was a great fight. Uh, fight night. Um, whatchamacallit? What's the first fight we actually was watching? Was Vito, yeah, man? Vito, yeah, versus that African hand. Yes, the African.
SPEAKER_00:That was actually, it was on the undercard, so it was like knockout of the night. You know, that that head, that dude's head fucking whiplash, car accident.
SPEAKER_02:He was tough. He was tough during the whole fight. I don't know what happened.
SPEAKER_00:Vito had a hurt hand when he did that. So props to Vito, new promotion.
SPEAKER_02:How you know you were in his pockets.
SPEAKER_00:No, I was watching.
SPEAKER_02:He got a hurt.
SPEAKER_00:Willie was on his phone, man.
SPEAKER_02:But no, yeah. We were watching, bro. No, because we was look, we was waiting to see if he was getting a knockout. But you're talking about how you know his hands are hurting, though.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. Yeah, whatever. I mean, they he wasn't throwing his right hand, he did do something to his hand, man. It wasn't his normal activity level. What the hell are you talking about? He's still butting that way. But after that, card got cooking. Um, we were eating some wings. They jipped me on the wings. We won't shout them out. Uh, again, we eat wings on the weekend because we eat good during the day.

One thing missing from the card, though, as usual over in Saudi Arabia was the crowd noise. I mean, we finally when Benavidez came out that they were cheering. Obviously, he had you not, but the crowd noise is still missing. But hey, again, Turks putting these fights together. It was cool. It ended early. You know, the the the card ended like 11 p.m. 10 30 p.m. That was cool to see. But yeah, after Vito did his thing, out comes Abdullah Mason in fight of the night.
SPEAKER_02:In the fight of the night.
SPEAKER_00:And you know what, man?
SPEAKER_02:Good for him, man.
SPEAKER_00:Yo, it looked like a little kid in there versus a grown ass man. Good for him.
SPEAKER_02:It was crazy because we thought he was gonna end up because he uh Abdullah, man. I don't know about Odula when he gets he get caught between his punches a lot, man. And it's and it's getting scary out here, but he did so well.
SPEAKER_00:This was learning, man. This was all learning.
SPEAKER_02:This was a real fight for a real belt. This was that was perfect. It was a perfect matchup matchup, yes.
SPEAKER_00:And you know what? Good for Sam Nokes too, because he put his name like he was eating punches from Abdullah Mason, and Abdullah Mason was whipping them things, yeah, whipping them things, and he's still there. And he even said at the end after the fight, Abdullah was like, you know, he's a sturdy guy, very sturdy guy. He's like, I'm hitting him, and he's right there still. And and Abdullah could learn a lot from that. He even said, which I love to see, his maturity for the way he looks, yes, is crazy. He looks like a little kid, but his maturity level is insane. He said, I gotta fight a different type of fight like that. I should have little boxed a little more instead of slugged it out, something like that.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, something the way you what you wanted, like so. It was like uh maybe around seven or eight, and you was telling him to coast, like fight like Haney. No, fight like Haney. We was like, No, this is too close to coast. I think he fought the to make it like just make it is for sure that he was making it like he was gonna win that fight. It was too close for him to coast at that time.
SPEAKER_00:It was close, and and I do think I said this that night. I think if Sam Nokes, they he was bleeding, he was a bloody mess from an accidental headbutt. I think that blood took a little steam out of him on top of Abdullah Mason.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that headbutt was crazy because yeah, I don't I don't think that kind of like that blood and everything.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, he's losing a lot of oxygen and and he uh he I do got cut up two.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, you've seen his face like that.
SPEAKER_00:That was a real belt fight. That's what you want to see when you fight for a belt, man. So good on the matchmaking.
SPEAKER_02:He looked like a uh a baby with allergies.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, you could tell he's like, ah shit. But yo, um Sam Nokes too, man. Sky's the limit still for him. Uh that that was one of those fights that could take some years off your life, yeah. Both of them, and and you know what? Abdullah's definitely gonna learn from that. Um that dude is tough, dude.
SPEAKER_02:Uh notes is uh he's uh he's he's gonna be trouble for anybody that he fight. And if I'm hearing like they really want that fight back, like they want to fight that again. Like, no, but I don't think that should he should move on. I think Abdullah should move on and both of them move on.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I don't think they should run it.
SPEAKER_02:But that was a great fight. Maybe later I wouldn't be mad at that.
SPEAKER_00:No, maybe I think next time though, uh Abdullah, he probably gets him out of there if they were to fight. He's that good, he's that good. Getting better, too. Getting better. It was good to see him eat those shots, too. He was getting hit and he was eating it. He was eating. And Nooks could crack because he, you know, he hurt him to the body.
SPEAKER_02:Nokes hold hurt hurt him to the body. That's one thing I was gonna say.
SPEAKER_00:If anything, he's gotta get that body a little tougher. But yeah, yeah, yeah. But now you know what? If and I doubt Abdullah Mason does this. I don't I don't think he's gonna go try and unify right away. He'll probably do at least one or two defenses of his title. But that weight division, man, you got Abdullah Mason now's WBO, right? Raymond Murtala has the IBF.

SPEAKER_00:And now WBA, we don't know what's going on with him, but Jervanta Davis. And then I don't know what's going on with Shakur either, because he's moving up to 140 allegedly. It's still not announced. It's kind of weird now. We're waiting for that official announcement for him versus Tio at 140. He's got the WBC. It's a tough road in that weight class, man.
SPEAKER_02:Might not be a thing.
SPEAKER_00:I think Abdullah needs to hit his grown man still, you know. Like he needs that, you know, like that body transformation when you you become like a grown grown man.
SPEAKER_02:So you think this this this real belt was too early?

SPEAKER_02:Oh, I know he won the belt. Sam Nokes is saying that Sam Nokes is tough for all those guys too. Now, defending the belt is gonna be different now. It's gonna be harder.

SPEAKER_02:It's gonna be crazy. Imagine, imagine trying to unify. All them fights is tough.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that's true. Uh I I I don't know. I don't know what I don't know what's gonna happen though. He's gonna definitely defend it two two times at least, you know, at least two times. Yeah, because that's a tough. He's gonna take some time off. He's gonna take at least six months off now. He was always pretty active.
SPEAKER_02:So when do people like tend to unify?
SPEAKER_00:Because you somehow some people like well, the next guy we're gonna talk about is is strictly on the belts, and that's what makes the best fights. That's why the four belts matter to me.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that but it'd be like some people be moving like, oh, I just got to weight class, I'm unifying next fight, though, no defendant, or somebody just they get the belt and then they just leave like weight class.
SPEAKER_00:Well, yeah, because it they they probably we'll talk about that too. Somebody on this card is doing that. But listen, he he now is a champion, his goal was to be a champion, and this is the point of the four belts. I've said it a million times. Your goal is to get a belt, right? You're a champion, you're a world champion, you're an elite talent, right? Then you get a unified champion, it's like, holy crap, now I'm a champion beating champions. Yeah, and then when you're undisputed, you beat all the champions. So that was like why the four belts are cool. And when people argue and they're like, oh, like UFC guys or MMA guys, they're like, Oh, too many belts. No, no, the four is cool because you're beating other champions to get undisputed. I beat all the champions, I'm the effing man, you know what I mean? So I I like it. Just this weight class, bro, is is is tough. Raymond Miratala is not nobody to F with. He's probably I'd say the easiest on there. Yeah, he's probably the easiest, but but you know, Latinos, tough as shit. And then we don't know what's going on with Tank. He's MIA and Shakur too. He might he might get rid of that WBC if he does well at 140. So damn lots of interesting things.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, so this is confusing. I don't know if we're gonna get into it, but it's like where's Keyshawn at now? Is he where what weight is he at? And he's gonna he's our fucking problem.
SPEAKER_00:He's coming back. Is he gonna he's gotta fight at 140? That time off, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:He have to, he he has to fight at 140. He's not making the he's not making the weight.

SPEAKER_02:He might fight at 147. Maybe you know, they making crazy jumps like go fight Devin Haney now. That'd be crazy. I'm done. Now I'm just let's not manifest that. They both hit. I was off by a round with Bam because he was just fooling around. Yeah, and that's one thing I want to talk about. Like, bam, it seems like when he fights, he wants the rounds, and that's why he gets better and better each. Yeah, like he could he could do things and get these guys out of there, these champions out of there. Yeah, but he wants the rounds. He's learning as he's going, he's learning while he works, you know what I mean? Like learning on the job, still, and he's one of the best in the game.
SPEAKER_02:It's like he's like, I want to get my money's worth. Like it's like it's like, yo, I need to I pay you how much for camp? Um, how much the flight here? Uh he's like, how much the fans pay? And I'm just go fight, or I'm gonna fight at least nine rounds for no reason.
SPEAKER_00:Fernando Martinez isn't like a nobody, dude. He's a world so tough, tough as shit, but just you knew he pitched a shutout. It was almost, and we were talking about it. It's almost like boxing like that, like the way Bam boxes is fucking beautiful. It's beautiful, yeah, and like the common non-fan will be like, This is boring, this is boring. But we were all sitting here like in awe, yeah, watching what he's doing.

That means we're moving on to Devin the Dream Haney. The Dream Haney. Devin Haney defeats Brian Norman Jr. Unanimous decision, 12 rounds. Listen, uh Brian Devin did exactly what he said he was gonna do. Um, he did it, he did it.
SPEAKER_02:You said he's verbally handicapped.
SPEAKER_00:He did it verbatim. No one expected the knockdown in the second round. Hell no, no one expected Devin Haney to knock him down in the second round.
SPEAKER_02:Absolutely not. He was putting us to sleep at first because Devin was scared to throw that jab. He was his amazing jab.

SPEAKER_02:He was scared, he was just like so timid, and he it's like he it's like he baited him because it's like he he put him to sleep and then bang. He caught him with something.
SPEAKER_00:He caught him with something. I don't know what it was. But but here's what he didn't do he didn't capitalize off that knockdown. He tried. No, he didn't, he didn't engage like he should have. Yeah, he did. No, he boxed, he stuck to his game plan, which I can't be mad at him for. He didn't engage like you you think he would when you had a guy knocked down in the second round.
SPEAKER_02:He did, he tried to get him out of there, but he couldn't.
SPEAKER_00:In that round, in that round, in that round, yes. I'm saying the third, fourth, fifth. Oh, yeah, he had right back to the gameplay, which is which is good, but for Devin Haney, for Devin Haney, as brash as he is, I I wanted to see him get him out of there then.
SPEAKER_02:Nah, he couldn't do it. If he could, he already he tried almost burnt himself out in the round.
SPEAKER_00:He did what he did, though. He was disciplined, safe, and controlled and won the boxing match. I'm not taking anything away from Devin Haney. He won the boxing match, but did he gain fans from this?
SPEAKER_02:Uh maybe. Nah, you know. Everybody was saying that everybody said he was gonna lose, he's gonna get knocked out, that he couldn't take a punch no more. He still was like timid and he won, but he was afraid of punches now.
SPEAKER_00:Nah, he he won, but he didn't wow.
SPEAKER_02:That's all I'm saying. No, no, he's not gonna wow us. At this point, we should be okay with that. And I'm I'm happy that he's he's he's okay with it now. Like, yo, that's how you that's how you win. That's how you're gonna don't even care. Don't don't it doesn't matter what we're saying no more.
SPEAKER_00:He won the match, he won the boxing match, he got a belt at 147. Listen, I I can't, I'm I'm not hating on the guy.
SPEAKER_02:I was disappointed in Brian Norman. I don't know. You knock a guy down, though.
SPEAKER_00:You knock a guy down in the second round like that, and you know that one-two was landing.
SPEAKER_02:That one two, he was but where to go, you know, like he was still scared, bro. But you know what thing? Uh he was so disciplined. I was saying this shit the whole night. Look, I was just like, I was amazed at how he kept that right hand tucked.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:It was tucked on his chin the whole thing. Brian Norman really didn't.
SPEAKER_00:I'm like, yeah, yo, I don't know if Devin Haney's feet are that good, or Brian Norman really had bad feet that night. Yeah, he was.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, Brian, Brian Norman. I don't think because Devin Devin was so faster than him. He cut he was stepping straight back too. I'm just telling, like, I'm I'm saying to y'all, I'm like, yo, all he had to do is throw a feint and then come with the hook. He's throwing a lead hook, and Devin just stepping straight back. So if you catch him on a straight back, throw like one, two, three punches, and you catch him on the way back, you're gonna get a knockdown.
SPEAKER_00:This is this there's something in the works right now, and it's setting up Devin Haney for a mega massive pay-per-view Las Vegas fight we might have to go to. Because Ryan Garcia versus WBC champion Mario Barrios.
SPEAKER_02:That's a easy that's that's that's an easy one.
SPEAKER_00:So so if if Ryan Garcia is easy, but Ryan Garcia, that's uh very winnable fight for him at 147. Now you have this the build-up, the drama, Devin Haney versus Ryan Garcia. You see how the boxing guys work? If that happens, then that's awesome. From the book, Romero's got the WBA. They elevated him to WBA champions, so he's got the WBA belt.
