Speaker 1:

It's time for the main event. It's the Sparring Podcast.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's a knockout, willie. I think we're live, as usual, we are having issues. There we are, live, here we are. Oh my goodness oh my goodness how do I, how do I make this full screen having issues as usual, boom, we are live. Welcome to Sparren Boxing Podcast. We are not ready. Can you hear me, willie? Yep, yep, y'all can hear, I think you know we're on like our 80th episode.

Speaker 3:

That's crazy. You've been grinding 80 episodes.

Speaker 2:

I've been grinding my teeth when I sleep. It's really annoying, sorry. Side note, we are going to make this episode quick. If you are listening, we're going to repeat that a bunch of times because, prior to this episode, we're doing a two a day like training for football. It's training camp. We day like, uh, training for football, it's training camp. We are interviewing heather hardy and the queen ronica jeffrey, two brooklyn natives, two world champions. Once you're a champion, always a champion. So we are going to rush this episode because we have a lot to recap. Um, bear with us here as we get going. Punchlines is not with us today, but he's not gone forever. He will be back. Uh, yeah, you got anything. Really, what'd you do this weekend? Real quick though, because again, we're today, but he's not gone forever. He will be back. Yeah, you got anything, willie, what'd you do this weekend? Real quick, though, because again, we're going to keep this show rolling and I'm going to be fucking rambling very fast.

Speaker 3:

I didn't do shit. I haven't been doing shit, nothing. Y'all haven't been doing shit, but gambling. Kids don't gamble, kids don't gamble. If y'all watching this, why Tell them about your losses? No, I'll just fucking be chasing. There's too much going on, man. Then you got bills. Especially don't gamble on the first of the month. Everything just hit you at once, man. I think gambling Baseball is gambling.

Speaker 2:

Damn no punch, no Jaguars. Damn no punch, no Jaguars. Nah, no punch, no Jaguars. It's never the Jaguars, but Punch said I asked him if he was going to come in and want to be on this episode. Obviously, we're not going to include him in the interviews only because it's hard with a lot of people.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But he said no, he's going to be in the mountains, but Punch is in the mountains. Maybe he's high, I don't know. How was both of y'all birthdays? Oh yeah, that's another weird coincidence. We're both white, we both have small peepees and we have the same birthday. So that's very odd. Yo, what? I don't know. Half of that is true, but we do have the same birthday and it's weird. And we're friends. That's crazy. But punch is not gone forever. He is a regular on the show, um. So do not worry, do not fear, and he's a good boxing mind to have. Um. But yeah, willie's been a gambling menace. Usually he, when he's hot, he's hot. When he's not hot, he is not hot. Juan corrado, noble, today's my birthday. Oh, my goodness, you should go to applebee's. They'll give you a free dessert. But yeah, going forward.

Speaker 2:

We are going to keep this show rolling because we have a lot of boxing to recap. And again, stick with us. We're going to take a break after and at 7, we are interviewing two champions with a new podcast who are very outspoken, and that should be a lot of fun. But I have to prepare for that because, as you know, I am technically or technologically special Can't say the R word. We missed last week. So we have Bruce Carrington to recap. As you know, I got the Bruce Carrington shirt on. I'm a big fan. I kind of I'm getting a lot of heat for being a big fan of him and they're saying I stroke him, whatever. Blah, blah, blah. Xander zayas captured his first championship belt on the same card. It was goodbye to espn, it was a little farewell. We're going to recap a few fights from that card. And then last night, saturday night, regis pro gay, pro gray versus that was a slip-up. Regis pro gray versus jojo diaz we're going to talk about that as well.

Speaker 2:

Um, let me just where is my phone? Shit, do you see my cell phone? Oh no, I don't know where my phone is. That's not good. I was going to pull up the instagram to see if I could see comments on there. I think the only comments we see are on youtube. I see my phone. Damn it. I'm not going to go get it. Um yeah, but as you know, we are affiliated with thanks for playing. Thanks for playing.

Speaker 2:

Playing gave me a bunch of shirts to give out props to them, and one of those shirts was a shirt just like this, a Bruce Carrington shirt, and it was actually in all black. It looks much cooler. So I kept this one and I gave away that one. Shout out to everybody that participated in that one. Shout out to everybody that that participated in that. The winner of that was tapato, tapatio. I always say it wrong long time listener, combate. He won the shirt. So I will send that out again. Like I said every episode, I'm going to give something away, or try to give something away immediately after or during, depending on how many listeners we got I don't see the live one.

Speaker 2:

We don't get a lot, you don't? Maybe it's having issues, I don't know. It says we're live on instagram. Who knows? Oh, maybe I gotta click go live. Maybe now we'll be live on instagram. Oh, now we're live on instagram. My bad, here we are, though. Here we are, the spar inboxing podcast. Like I said, we're going to keep this show rolling very quickly. I just had a lot to recap here.

Speaker 2:

Um, clarissa shields also fought. I mean, there's not much to recap about clarissa shields. You know, like she's just damn good, she's really good and and every fight she has she's probably going to beat their ass. You could say what you want about her personality. A lot of people don't like her personality. We've met her a bunch of times. She's nothing but great to us. Um, but you know, when you chop up clips, like I said before, but talent boxing she's probably unbeatable in boxing. Yeah, we can talk about the Layla Ali stuff. She didn't. Layla do not want no problem. I don't want that fight either, you know. I know Clarissa wants the money. She wants to just say officially I am the quote, she'll be Layla.

Speaker 3:

Ali's ass at this point. That money is that's a lot of money, that is a smart, but that's a woman boxing needs like, like one of those fights like you know manny pacquiao came back you know, like I guess, but if it's true, I mean, I don't even know just they need. I never heard of one of those like legends coming back in a woman's boxing, I mean I don't know how I feel about it.

Speaker 2:

I you know I'm actually girls that later yeah yeah, it's another one of those fights of like you know, know she's going to whoop her ass, so why do we need to see it? Yeah, and there's no doubt she's beat the best. She beats the best in every division. She's a heavyweight now and whooping ass, she's very good. One thing I want to give her props for Her hand speed.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but it was her hometown in Detroit and she filled that stadium up, dude, and as we know, it's real hard for boxers to fill stadiums up, let alone win boxers. She filled that stadium up.

Speaker 3:

They did the opposite with Shakur. It was like it was like it was around the house, you mean in Newark. Like yeah, you know how they had to show like people like there, there that. Uh, yeah, they showed the angle where I seen on instagram. They show the angle and then you can see the whole shit filled up yeah, so she did do that and props to her. That was all her michigan was fired, though she didn't matter a lot of groundwork herself. Her page was sending out tickets. Yo buy my ticket.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so good for her man they did their thing and uh, and that's cool to see Now going forward again. It's hard to watch her fights only because you know she's going to win, like, not because of the talent. Yes, I know women's boxing a lot of people have hard feelings for or don't like it. But whatever, whatever your reasoning for not watching it is she's unwatchable because she's so good. You know she's going to wipe them out, wipe the floor with them, and I guess maybe that's why she wants the Ali fight, because there would be a lot of buzz. Ali. She's fighting Ali, but who knows? I mean going forward, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Shields is just a different breed.

Speaker 2:

She is she's all about that. They're going to see her on Hip Hop Wives or something at some point, because she got the papoose tattoo under her bosom. How do you know that I?

Speaker 3:

didn't see that I got a funny thing.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to tell you later that, me and my wife, but anyway, you got a tattoo under your bosom no, no, no, I should, I should get it. I'll get Willie Right under here.

Speaker 3:

All right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but good for her. Again they and uh, yeah, that's really it. I mean there's some good fights on the undercard of that as well returns, but nothing really that's shaking up boxing. So let's just keep it moving. Uh, boxing had its last show on espn with top rank um. You know, there's rumors of where they're gonna go. We don't know where they're gonna go. Nobody really knows where they're gonna go. Uh, bob arum is very optimistic that they're gonna find a place to go. I I'm very saddened by this and, as you know, I want boxing to be mainstream and stay mainstream, and now it is officially not mainstream. That was the last thread holding on to mainstream boxing and it is.

Speaker 3:

We know the official reason why, though well, they just.

Speaker 2:

the contract just ran out and espn is already struggling. So they're like, well, nobody really watches this boxing but boxing fans. But that that's not top ranks fault. I think that's espn's fault, and hear me out on this. So the original series fight life right, where me and punch were always talking how, like you, you, they need to do more of that, like go in the fighters' camps and their life story. That's what the UFC is good at. Espn did that, I guess, and they did that with all the fights we went to Michaela Meyer was one of them. What's his name? The whole Valentine's Day card. They went behind there and they did a whole dissection of their fight camps. It was awesome. You saw behind the scenes, you got to know the fighter's life Keyshawn Johnson, all of them, not Keyshawn Johnson.

Speaker 3:

Keyshawn.

Speaker 2:

I always do that, keyshawn brothers. Actually, it was cool to see, though. It was really cool to see. And then when did they air it? July 7th, when did Top Rank and them split?

Speaker 3:

july 26th.

Speaker 2:

So cool you're doing all that. You did it and it was the second second time they did it. But I'm like, come on, man, like now you're leaving, like thanks for all that, but it's got to come out earlier and then it was gone. Baby girl, it was gone. Uh, I, I hope top rank obviously top rank's gonna stay in the game. I'm sure they're gonna do more stuff with the saudis now going forward because they are homeless. So yeah, we will see. Last I heard and I said this on the last episode is that they were trying to open their own app and figure out how to. But I'm like, come on, we don't need more apps.

Speaker 3:

I spend like $300 a week these apps is killing us. That's why everybody got a Fire Stick. What Fire Stick? We get free cable baby. $25 maybe, but that's it. We gotta pay for a waffa, that's it. That's. We're not paying for all that. They just, they just messed up the promotion.

Speaker 1:

Yeah like come on bro, espn.

Speaker 3:

Espn need right now, they need boxing, they need everything, because you know what's going on with shannon sharp. Shannon sharp out Sharp, I don't know who.

Speaker 2:

Y'all going to keep an A's by itself.

Speaker 3:

I don't know ESPN's going down, then we all going down, because that's like a long-living thing.

Speaker 2:

There was fights and now we're a week removed. We took last week off. We all have lives. We can't just do this boxing shit forever and we do not get paid for this podcast. But thanks for playing. It does give us shirts, Love thanks for coming, yeah, and shout out to Punch for that too. Oh yeah, Willie. Well, we're going to talk about that fight, so let's just get right into it. The last show on ESPN for top rank had Willie's favorite fighter, Rohan Polanco, and thanks for playing.

Speaker 2:

Had a shirt with him, my new favorite fighter since Tank is retired, oh yeah, we got to talk about that at the end too quick, but we are going to keep it pushing. Willie, did you watch that fight?

Speaker 3:

Did you watch that fight? Not really, no, I kind of missed it. I was mad, though I was really mad that I missed it, but the dude was lengthy.

Speaker 2:

How do you miss your favorite fighter, Willie?

Speaker 3:

I don't know when was I at you wasn't around.

Speaker 1:

I was in Florida and I caught it what I was doing.

Speaker 3:

I don't know, it was two weeks ago, bro. Like my memory is like shot. I don't like like um, what, like I don't know how, like my memory just be shot, like all the time I take it day by day bro.

Speaker 2:

It is hard with boxing and the names. I fuck them all up all the time.

Speaker 3:

That dude, he fought, he was lengthy Quentin Randall.

Speaker 2:

He was a seasoned vet, I guess you could say in the game he was very long and difficult. But I don't want to cook Rohan, because Rohan is really good. He has power in both hands. He plays too much. Like said last last episode, he just plays too much and then he gets hit and it gets serious towards the middle yeah and and he is good, he's a draw.

Speaker 2:

He's one of the dominican greats right now, but he does need to stop playing around and and I think this may have humbled him a little bit this, this victory, because he's getting too to start, too much stardom. You know what I mean. Like he, I mean he's coming out like he's, that he's great, but you're not that.

Speaker 3:

yet A lot of fighters do that. They get that egg-label-ing-a. You just get that too, stardom. He don't speak English, so we all know what he's talking about. Rohan Rohan, yeah, but Rohan is definitely going to be talented. He definitely was getting hit like a lot, a lot. Every fight now though counters, though, counters and stuff like he's doing a lot of punches, but he's so aggressive that but like but he moves up in competition.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, getting hit like that, especially at 147, is not gonna you know what it is he.

Speaker 3:

he need to be more patient. He needed to be more patient and just work being patiently. But he's Well, he is patient, he's just he's extra aggressive. Yeah, you could tell that he wanted to get him out of there.

Speaker 2:

He's like coming forward with the Philly shell. Yeah, like getting clipped yeah.

Speaker 3:

He can't do that. Like in the beginning of the fight, he was on his toes, foot faints, everything looking nice, and that shit vanished real fast, real fast Listen.

Speaker 2:

147 has turned into a really hot division, so I'm excited to see what's next for him. I just want him to stay disciplined in the ring. You know what I mean I wonder what's next for him.

Speaker 3:

I wonder, like, how they're going to move after that type of win.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, then after that type of win, yeah, then after that we had the co-main event was.

Speaker 3:

Bruce, he can fight what's him. Call that 147, right who Roley right.

Speaker 2:

Roley. Yeah, I wonder what Roley just got elevated, though, to a champion. So, he's not fighting.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's not fighting. That'd be a fun fight, yeah that would actually that would be a fun fight. I ain't going to lie, I got to be there for that one. I got to be there for that one. I got to be there. That's a fight I want to see.

Speaker 2:

I'm just going to keep it rolling. I don't mean to cut you off. We're just like I said, this is going to be a quick episode, just so we can. Shane said I can't hear you guys at all. Well, shane, uh, I don't know. I don't know what that means. Can, if anyone else is listening, can you hear us? Yeah, juan corrado could hear us because he said no bull, it's today's my birthday and, like we were talking about his birthday.

Speaker 3:

So, guy in the orange shirt, what'd they?

Speaker 2:

say what'd that say? Hey, yo, oh, my god, the guy in the orange shirt I don't know who that is, some old guy, that's cool, thanks. Old man juan corrado says yeah, I could hear you. Shane says mics are muted, mike or shane. That's on your end, shane, I thought you were in the mountains, bro. Yeah, everyone could hear shane, it's on your end. Maybe you are in the mountains. Yo, shane, pop in if you're there, but we're gonna keep it rolling quick.

Speaker 3:

So that's um, that's not like.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I know who it is punchline. I know who shane is. This is punchlines, dumbass. Oh okay, punchlines, pop in. I'd say text me, but my phone's over there Text the group chat, send LinkedIn. I think it's the same link. He's on that Starlink train. That's funny. But yeah, shane, just pop in if you want, if we're here, but we're going to keep it rolling fast. I know you can't hear. You can hear me if I'm saying that Send LinkedIn.

Speaker 3:

Dumbass, you can hear me.

Speaker 2:

Anyway, emiliano. Anyway, uh, emiliano vargas versus alexander espinoza. What the fuck he's on that starlink pack, bro. I think he's smoking um the 42 second massacre. I'm sure you saw highlights of this though, willie. Uh, emiliano vargas versus alexander espinoza. Oh, that was a. That was some fucking pull counter. He. He fucking lit him up and got him out of there very quickly. But there's a bit of irony here for me and again, I'm not going to touch on this too much. He is new, and on the same card was Xander Zayas, and some argue that they pushed Xander Zayas to that belt. They found the right route for him to get a belt, which I can agree with.

Speaker 3:

I mean top rank. They do their thing. Sometimes with their prospects they're going to get you somewhere.

Speaker 2:

And he did do his thing and they did their thing with him. But I feel like they're now, as these prospects, like Bruce Carrington isn't really a prospect anymore. But Vargas, and what's his face from Ohio, sir. Yeah, I face from Ohio, sir. Yeah, I'm having brain farts too now, but whatever, the prospects that they're pushing now are moving Abdullah Mason. So Vargas and Abdullah Mason are like their prospects now that they're going to push in that direction.

Speaker 3:

They all game like title shots.

Speaker 2:

But the difference between them and Xander Zayas is they're lighting dudes up. Xander was winning, winning, winning. I winning, I'm not gonna lie. He's a great boxer. Zander, zander's eyes, vargas. Vargas is putting people out. You know what I mean. And the competition isn't like that he got the pedigree.

Speaker 3:

He has the family, that's the family, that's the whole. He, his father, got one, though, yeah, his father, his father got one I know he got like three sons, but he got one.

Speaker 2:

But here's the irony with that, his father even said oh man, I think shane is here. I heard him hold on. Oh, he is here. Hey, welcome shane. Can you hear us now? You dickhead, where are you? Shane, punchlines, not shane. I don't know who shane is. Punchlines is in the building.

Speaker 1:

People welcome I just got back on. My phone is almost dead, though I had to stop at the grocery store.

Speaker 2:

Oh, okay, so Shane was in the mountains, that was true. We gave a little interlude. What's going on? We're going to keep this rolling quick because, as you know, we have an interview yeah, I was following along.

Speaker 1:

You just act like I've been here the whole time. I was following along. It's like I've been here the whole time I was following along.

Speaker 2:

Okay, okay. Well, what'd you think of the Vargas fight man? Obviously, there's not much to think about it, but what do you think going forward? The point I just made was that he's kind of on that same Xander trajectory. You feel the same way, or Hello?

Speaker 1:

I think he's better than Xander is.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Like if that makes sense, Like I think he's.

Speaker 2:

But, um. He's more exciting, for sure.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I hate when these guys get easy knockouts against guys they're supposed to get easy knockouts against and it's like, oh, I want to see him fight Teal, I want to see him fight.

Speaker 3:

Hitchens.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying? Who said that? Oh like, yeah, he did I mean well he said he's the best in the world already which you know, I can't come up with it. But don't be delusional.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I think we're going to see a lot, though, of him fighting those type of guys, because even his dad said, no, I don't want him to have the same career path that I have. And then that mixed with top rank, and they're looking for the newer prospects coming in with top rank, and they're looking for the new, the newer prospects coming in like the new era of prospects, as the other era of prospects are now like being contenders or fell off the map Like him and Abdullah Mason is the point I'm making. That's top rank guys right now that they're building up like that.

Speaker 1:

Abdullah's fighting for a title bro.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true, he's on that next tier already. But that might be too soon for him too. We'll see here already. But that might be too soon for him too, we'll see.

Speaker 3:

I feel like that is too soon.

Speaker 2:

I don't even know how he even got there he got dropped twice In the same fight versus a guy with an afro coming out the back.

Speaker 1:

Does he look like a Japanese anime character?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, I play video games as him. Yeah, we will see. Again. It was a 42 second massacre. It was his welcome to new york. I'm sure he'll fight at the hulu many more times now, because he did like it.

Speaker 3:

He did like that attention a doula having a title shot before shushu is.

Speaker 2:

That is crazy, both of them shit yeah, but now let's get into the shushu talk because, again, we're going to keep this rolling Short and sweet show today, guys. But stick around, because at 7 pm we will be back with an interview Not an interview, a chat actually with two prior world champions who are full of energy and full of fun. They might get us canceled. Bruce Carrington versus Matthias Haida recap Listen, a lot of people have a lot of hard feelings about this and a lot of people are kind of cooking Bruce for this. And I'm not going to fanboy too much. It's clear, I'm a Bruce Carrington fan and I do fanboy him a lot. A lot of stuff going around where people coming off of what Tim Bradley said as you got to get this guy out of there, man, he really got to get this guy out of there. Man, you really, he really got to get this guy out of there.

Speaker 3:

What the hell you got to get this guy out. I wrote that in the chat. I'm like why do you think like he shut him out what?

Speaker 2:

because he didn't get the knockout he's supposed to yeah, I don't know and, and you know, it's like, yeah, you're, you're right, they're, they're probably, he probably should have got him out of there. But the guy went 12 rounds and pitched a shutout and got his interim belt or whatever, versus a guy that nobody knew anything about. The only thing we really knew about this guy is that he's coming from Africa and there's one thing that the African fighters have that everybody knows they're going to survive and they're tough, tough as hell.

Speaker 3:

You know what I mean. I knew he was going to be tough, though.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, what do you?

Speaker 3:

got Punch.

Speaker 1:

Don't though. Yeah, what do you got?

Speaker 2:

don't choke jim bradley says that shit when he had a draw with diego saunders after the pacto fight.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like and and. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but yes, there are certain fights where the guy should have got him out of there. Shushu just went his first 12 round, first 12 round and and virtually shut this guy out and he showed a new wrinkle. He was more heavy on the back foot, where usually he's a counter in the pocket puncher. You know what I mean and that was what you said about Kay Karoma. That's how Kay Karoma kind of trains his fighters and you know what I think Shushu did?

Speaker 3:

great dude, he showed energy in the 12th. I think this African guy can get a lot of people problems in that weight class I ain't gonna lie. He can give people problems because he's lengthy and he got a slick boxing style and then he's hard to get out of there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's one thing that African fighters always show, and that's heart. We're gonna survive, we're gonna fight till the very, very end, and that is exactly what he did versus a guy like Shushu, so praise to that guy yeah, he was tough man, he was tough, it was just.

Speaker 1:

I think there's a middle ground. You know, like I think Shushu looked really good, but I also I can see why he left a lot to be desired. But you know what, though? Like it's the same fault, the fault that lies on the people criticizing them, like the tim bradley's and everybody in the world that's on them because they talk about this guy. You know, bruce, like he is the next guy up, which he still is, but it's like you can't realistically expect a 126-pounder to knock out everybody.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and then at a certain point in the fight, bruce was like all right, I'm not going to be able to get this guy out of here, but I'm going to box the shit out of him and, like you can't, like get mad at him for that. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah no. It's like I think people had. I think a lot of people want to hate on Shushu because they don't think he deserves the attention that he gets.

Speaker 3:

And.

Speaker 1:

I also think a lot of people like if it was their first time watching him or one of their first times watching him. They expected more based on the way we talk about him. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, and again, we are, you are too. We're all fanboys of Shushu. You know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, and and again we are, we are, you are too. We're all fan boys of Shushu. But you know what I mean. Like he's just so great with the fans it's hard not to root for him and and like him and but he, he, he does, he boxes great little bit. So it's like, okay, he fought a tough guy nobody knew shit about, but they knew he was good enough to to go for this interim belt and he shut him the fuck out. Like I just don't like seeing that. Another thing that left a bad taste in my mouth.

Speaker 1:

Even if he knocked him out just as fast as vargas knockout his guy, they would have said he just knocked out a bum yeah, yeah, so so it's like a it's almost like a lose-lose for him.

Speaker 2:

in a sense, you're right.

Speaker 3:

Exactly.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, I just didn't like that from Tim and I get it I said that in the chat, bro.

Speaker 3:

I'm like I don't like how Tim is. He's talking all this crap Like he's not pitching a shutout.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it don't make no sense.

Speaker 2:

He's boxing the shit out of there and like tim's entitled to his opinion, obviously, and he's, he's more. He's more like certified or established than we are, but like I don't know, I just didn't. I'm like why didn't you praise him for how good he's boxing this tough, tough guy, when, when we the only thing we knew about this guy was he's probably tough because he's from africa, like he's in the af, the African circuit, so you know he's coming with all heart, but whatever, um, he showed the wrinkle. One thing I didn't like and if it's true, I don't know if it's totally true or not uh, rafael Espinoza was in attendance, yeah, um, yeah, but I kind of left a bad taste in my mouth because allegedly and again this is just what I heard Bruce and and his team sent rafael espinoza and everybody, everybody with the belt, like contract offers or whatever fight offers and and allegedly again, I don't know this for sure they all turned him down. And then he's like sitting there and and I will say he, he's dressed nice, he looked like a gentleman. But I'm like, well, if we sent you these offers and now you're coming, they're like get out of here. You already know what Bruce is about. It's not a secret. Top right touted him. You know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

And then another thing people are now saying oh, espinoza cooks them. After that fight. Espinoza cooks them. After that fight Again. Styles make fights. Would it be a much better fight? Yes, Would.

Speaker 3:

Would would Bruce have have more problems if he fights that style?

Speaker 2:

yes, 100%. But we don't know how Espinoza is going to take those punches. Bruce was going to the body and stuff. We don't know. I'm being a little biased.

Speaker 3:

I lied in the beginning when I said this segment, but whatever it is what it is what are you eating over there?

Speaker 2:

punch it is what it is.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, what are you eating over there? Punch, Chex-Mix or Cheez-It.

Speaker 2:

Party Mix bro, or the.

Speaker 1:

Snack Mix All right, cheez-it.

Speaker 2:

Snack Mix Nice, oh, you're going to shit your pants dude.

Speaker 1:

I'm fucking hungry dude.

Speaker 2:

Let's think you really wearing the mask. No, but you know what?

Speaker 1:

though, like I can't get off of tim bradley, bro. I cannot get off of tim bradley because he he criticizes these young guys all the time and it's honestly a trend, but it's always once they start getting hype. He did it with teo, he did it with haney, he did with shaker. When they're coming up, he, uh, he'll tell you. He'll tell you that, like they're the, they're coming up, he'll tell you that they're white hot, they're the next number one pound for pound, and he loves to be the one telling you that shit.

Speaker 1:

And then, once they get the hype, he's like I don't know, I think he should be doing more.

Speaker 2:

It's like bro you created this hype and, like you said before, with his draw or whatever, every fight is different, especially as you're moving up. Like every fight is fucking different, like he needs to understand that that I always talk about my favorite word, the tears. In boxing there's no amateur like pro boxing. You know what I mean. It's like, yeah, one punch away, yeah, and and again. Like there's no film on this guy. I there's no film on this guy. I know Shushu likes to study, he likes to film study. There's not much on this guy and he's coming here to win. They don't come from Africa not to win. You know what I mean? They're not coming for a paycheck, they're coming to fucking win. So listen Now, I guess there's no other option now. Nobody can duck him any longer. He needs to go. He has to get a title shot, right? I don't?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's got to get a title shot or a big name like a Figueroa or somebody.

Speaker 3:

I think it is a must. It's about that time, bro. It's about that time. He's always active. What do you want? He's always fighting. He's always active. Like, what do you want? He's always fighting. Yeah, he's very active, every other month Like he fights like four times a year.

Speaker 2:

Actually my wife said Shushu fights a lot.

Speaker 3:

I was like, yeah, wow, glad you noticed that. And he's still not losing no brain cells, he's still smart as hell. There's a lot of people that's punchy.

Speaker 1:

These boxers are very punchy. It's crazy. The only hope.

Speaker 3:

I have is that?

Speaker 1:

because, he's part of that whole ring ambassadorship circle.

Speaker 2:

Turkey's going to get him a fight somehow yeah, I think that is going to happen They'll just throw the money out there.

Speaker 3:

Shoo-shoo shit. Well, it's too early for that one. What's the next ring one, ring three or whatever Ring?

Speaker 1:

four.

Speaker 3:

But he can't get on butter on him.

Speaker 1:

He can't get on the next one. The one in.

Speaker 3:

November. He should aim for that one. He should definitely aim to be on that card. Get on one of those cards. It's that time, right now, definitely ESPN no more he definitely should be on that next right now. Definitely. They're not ESPN, no more. He definitely should be on that next ring card, ring five, I guess right, because ring four is going to be buttered up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I guess that's ring four, I don't know.

Speaker 3:

Whatever? Ring four is we went to ring three.

Speaker 1:

That's the Haney Norman one. Ring four is Haney Norman Benavidez Yard.

Speaker 2:

Okay, okay. And then norman one, oh okay, benavidez yard, okay, okay. And then ring five. So they are kind of copying that ufc model with the numbers.

Speaker 2:

But that's cool, whatever, yeah, um, all right, let's just again. I'm going to rush everybody because I'm trying to keep it moving, because I have to set up for our interview, so if you are listening right now, we are live. Uh, we're going to go live again with heather, the heat hardy and ronica jeff, ex-world Champions, the queen, ronica Jeffery. But let's talk about Xander Zayas versus Jorge Garcia Perez. Real quick, xander wins his WBO Junior Middleweight Championship at 154. He got his title. The Puerto Rican process worked. You know what I mean? Top rank was looking for a Puerto Rican to guide to a title. It was either him or Berlanga. Something stuck. They threw shit at the wall.

Speaker 3:

Wait, where do we live? At Florida? Florida, it's in Florida. Okay See, they were so smart to have him fight in New York Mad times.

Speaker 2:

That was so smart. That's what they wanted, though they wanted a New York Puerto Rican connection. There's a lot of Puerto Ricans in New York and, that being said, real quick, as you guys know. But I was in Florida that weekend of the fight and it was funny to see the Florida boxing circuit. I went to see, you know, lorenzo Medina and company Lorenzo knocked the guy out in 40. Actually, real quick. This is the side of boxing we don't see, and I just want to get that out there.

Speaker 2:

The dude lorenzo fought right, was like a cuban I think it was cuban or colombian, yeah and he, lorenzo, had to pay the dude five g's to like fight out of his purse. You know what I mean? Like he had a, he had to pay the dude to fight. The dude basically took a dive. He got hit with like a three piece and lorenzo was like yo get, get the fuck up, I'll give you 500 to get up. He was pissed because he wanted the rounds. That's the side of boxing. You don't see the come up, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2:

This dude just came here took a dive, got paid 5 Gs to fight for 40 seconds. I would have took 5.

Speaker 3:

Gs.

Speaker 2:

I was like yo Lorenzo for 5 Gs. Bro, put me in there, I would at least do more punches. You could have slipped or something. But that's the side we don't see. And it was cool to see the Florida circuit. I'm used to New York fights where we have a shitload of Puerto Ricans on the come up right On the undercard. It's always like local Puerto Ricans. On this one it was I don't know what Punch you good.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I just got home.

Speaker 2:

Oh, alright, this is Alright. Okay, he'll come back. I don't know what the hell he's doing. He's going to die probably, but yeah, so it was cool to see the Cubans in Florida. You forget that there was a shitload of Cubans on the come up, so that was cool to see.

Speaker 3:

A shitload of money on that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, there was a lot of money on that.

Speaker 2:

There was some Cuban drug lords. Yeah, some dude had private security. But again, let's just keep it rolling. I'm not going to get into story time because we are pressed for time here. Xander Zayas versus Jorge Garcia Perez. Xander Zayas secures the WBO junior belt. Listen, slick boxer knows how to box, has a decent chin. He was getting cracked. He has a decent chin. I want to say that again, he has a decent chin. That was all his opponent was looking for.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and his opponent was throwing these wide looping shots, but with that being said, he couldn't catch him that much, but when he did, when he did catch him again.

Speaker 2:

I. I think that he's very young zander, yeah, and like my expectations for him are just so high that, like he's such a good boxer that they're so high I. I in turn turns to me hating on him. And I don't mean to hate on him. I root for anybody that supports new york. Obviously we're from new york and it's just like damn, I just want more. I want more. Like I feel like he should have shut this guy out cleanly, which he did, but the shots he was getting hit with praise to his chin. But now there's him and Virgil Ortiz Jr chirping back and forth oh man and Virgil.

Speaker 3:

Ortiz sent this. This was actually. We know who you're backing, yeah, but I'm going to say something.

Speaker 2:

We dapped him up. His gonna say something. We, we dapped him up. His hand was hurting. You could chirp and talk all you want. Virgil, get in there and fight. Xander's active. Yeah, xander's been active, very active, has the belt and he said who was calling.

Speaker 2:

It was Xander was calling him out before was, and now Virgil responded he sent, he put this Instagram post. Look it up, guys, if you're listening, look this Instagram post up. It was like a breakup text and and to me, when you write something like that, you know what I mean. When you hold on one second punches back, putting you in a punches back, what up? Man? We're talking about Xander Zayas, how he gets hit a little too much, but he is a slick boxer and that we're on the part where Virgil Ortiz sent that long text messages and I know, I know you're not sent that long text messages and I know I know you're not text that long Instagram post. I know you're a fan of Virgil as well, but to me, that kind of left me like something's going on with Virgil, cause that text was way too long. You know what I'm saying. Like, did you see?

Speaker 1:

it. Yeah, I didn't read that shit though.

Speaker 2:

Me neither Me neither I read some points.

Speaker 3:

Who reads paragraphs from who reads that?

Speaker 2:

I haven't seen.

Speaker 3:

I'm not reading that shit.

Speaker 2:

I haven't seen a message like that since my ex was banging the personal trainer. That was a long text message.

Speaker 3:

You probably sent a long text message. Yeah, that was me, I sent it.

Speaker 2:

But, bro, for real, that was a long message and that actually, oh man, punches, we're struggling, bro, you need some Adderall. Today we got to get a bunch of Adderall. That message actually to me was like I don't like that from Virgil, you know what I mean. I didn't like that. Then Xander responded very well, he just wrote one line like yeah, man, something like yeah, man, whatever, let me know when you get a belt.

Speaker 1:

Yeah like, alright, let me know when you get a belt, which is stupid because bro Xander's the worst champion in that weight class.

Speaker 2:

I don't want to roast him. I agree, dude. Well, I don't care agree, dude, I will.

Speaker 1:

I don't care, you don't have to, I will. I don't like the dude. I think he's overrated as fuck. I really do. I don't. I think he's okay. I was just saying.

Speaker 2:

I was just saying before when, uh, you left for a second, I was just saying that, like he, I always expect more, like I'm always expecting more from him. You know what I mean? I'm just always expecting so much more from him. And then I watch him get hit and he gets hit by these guys and these looping shots, like this last fight, and I'm like dude, like I don't get it. But there's one thing I want to remember and I always forget this as well he's very young, he's still very young, but he, you're right. I think Virgil Ortiz jr Is all wrong for him. Based off what you've, have you done for me lately, this fight, virgil Ortiz Jr, really, really, really hurts.

Speaker 3:

Well, I want to know where did the top ring find this guy for the fight for this title? I didn't.

Speaker 1:

I ain't never even heard of Charles Conwell. He'd be he upset.

Speaker 3:

Charles.

Speaker 1:

Conwell, so they they thrust him up.

Speaker 2:

That guy was like like kind's like a thug, like thug boxer, tough, you know what I mean like just like uh, munguia did before munguia real trainer yeah, he was tough, but again, I I feel like a lot of those shots xander shouldn't have been getting hit with. He does have a decent chin, though, because zayas was getting clipped and he showed a good chin and I know you don't like him and you want to, you want to cook him, but I'm always I'm always not even got hit, though yeah that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the guy was like. I'm known for cooking him. He got good feet. He could have boxed the whole time.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and again, my reason for cooking him is a little different than punches. It's more like I just expect so much more out of him. I feel like I'm expecting just this. I guess they promoted him right, because I'm expecting this like crazy knockout performance and it's not every time. He rarely gets the knockout yeah, like he.

Speaker 1:

His best win is like either this guy or a shot patrick to sheriff.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, to share. It was good. That was a better win than this guy I think our guy would be him.

Speaker 3:

I ain't gonna lie, he's not. I don't think they in the weight class, no, but but if, who? Uh?

Speaker 2:

Jahad may, but with the chin of him, I don't. You know what I mean. Boxing, yeah, That'd be a good like. They have some beef. They have some beef. So if Jahad wants to get a title shot, that'd be a great. He's at 160 now.

Speaker 3:

That'd be an action fight.

Speaker 2:

But that's another thing to bring up too. In trouble making this weight zander, because he's young and growing. We forget how young he is. I think he's like 21 or 22, so he's he's definitely growing and gonna get bigger.

Speaker 2:

But again, I, I just expect so much more and we can't, we can't really hate on top rank too much, for, yes, he did beat a guy, he got an easy belt. You could say, you could argue. But that's happened to so many great fighters in the past where it's like, okay, like people, people make arguments about Mike Tyson's title run and and you could even go a step further Floyd Patterson. Floyd Patterson had the easiest title run ever. So it's like like run to a title. You know what I mean. So so it's not uncommon, and he got his belt, he was very happy. So again, I don't want to cook him too much, but I will say this Virgil Ortiz Jr is all wrong for him as long as his hand is healed, which I don't think. I think there's something going on over there. Sorry, I was rambling yeah, because he doesn't have a fight announced at all yet.

Speaker 2:

No fight announced. When me and Willie saw him like six months ago, or was it four months ago, whenever it was, we like went to dap him up and he was like, ah, my hand, my hand, I just had surgery. And we're like, oh shit, my bad. And you could tell he was like grimacing in actual like pain.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but he fought after that right. No no no, he didn't fight yet.

Speaker 2:

No, he didn't fight in a minute.

Speaker 3:

After that hand we seen. Wait, when was that? I swear that was like February.

Speaker 2:

That was the Midtown, the fucking Manhattan fight.

Speaker 3:

Oh, that's the Manhattan fight. Yeah, okay, then you didn't fight after that Punch I don't know what you're doing, but you're clicking shit.

Speaker 1:

I'm not doing anything, I'm just sitting here. What is that click?

Speaker 2:

I don't hear no click. Do you hear that Am?

Speaker 3:

I bugging you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, um, but yeah, that's really it. Who do you see zander fighting next?

Speaker 1:

I don't.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, because I don't know what top rank is doing yeah, we talked about that earlier too, like top ranks now in limbo like we gotta figure out what they're doing.

Speaker 1:

Like that weight class is so spread out, I don't think a unification happens I honestly don't think the virgil fight happens. I don't know, I do not know.

Speaker 2:

We shall see Whatever Again. I know Punch has hard feelings towards him. He does not like the way the guy fights or whatever, but he did grab a belt so we can't hate him too much for that, that's all.

Speaker 1:

I could see him getting a Boa Chuck fight if he wants it.

Speaker 2:

That'd be interesting. A win over Boa Chuck's a good win, right.

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah, and I think he can beat him. I think if Michael Fox can give you trouble with his movement, I think Xander can.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, for sure, he's like the youngest champion, right? I think, yeah, I think he is yeah.

Speaker 2:

I did like his throwback hairstyle, though I didn't recognize him, bro. I was like who the fuck is this guy? He looked like he came out of the mariachi band, bro, it was good to see. You didn't like it Punch, you gave a face.

Speaker 2:

I was trying not to laugh because my one friend messaged me and was like he looks Mexican, I like that, he's got great hair. Dude Dude had great hair Great fucking hair. He's got great hair. Dude Dude had great hair Great fucking hair. Maybe you don't like his boxing. Dude's hair was fucking on point.

Speaker 3:

He just skin shaved it off.

Speaker 2:

I got no hair man, Leave me alone.

Speaker 3:

He should be like you and skin shave it off. He'd look tougher.

Speaker 2:

All. Bob Arum is saying that they're with a streamer. Sly says top rank is with a streamer, top rank. Uh. Sly says top rank is with a streamer. Uh, okay, uh, whatever. That sucks, though. This whole top rank thing to me really hurts my heart and punch. I'm gonna just talk about it quick, but again, we gotta, we gotta keep it rolling fast here.

Speaker 2:

Um, now I you saw what I posted the other day about like the um, what was that? The show, the thing espn was doing, the fight life or whatever. Yeah, they aired that on july 7th, bro, and and then they're off top rank july 26th. Like, I'm like, bro, this is what we were talking about. You need more of like. It was cool. I watched them all in one sitting. They're like an hour long and I was like what the fuck? And then they're gone off espn, and that was like espn's, like espn's uh production, you knowPN, and that was like ESPN's production. You know what I mean? I was like fuck, but yeah, whatever. So I guess they're going with a streamer. Boxing will not be mainstream for a long, long time, people.

Speaker 3:

It won't. I mean, is anything mainstream? Now, that's true.

Speaker 2:

I guess that's true, but there's still something about it Like the bars. When you go to the bars they don't show the Netflix fights, they don't show Netflix. You know what I mean. So that's to me what matters. You got to get into Buffalo Wild Wings.

Speaker 3:

Fire stick game, fire stick Everything. We get everything for free.

Speaker 2:

But again, let's keep it rolling, guys, because I want to get out of here by six. It's here by six, it's already six. Uh, just a quick touch up on regis prograve versus jojo diaz. Um, we'll talk about that card. That was last night punch. I'm gonna let you take it away here. I watched the fight today and then I'm gonna.

Speaker 1:

I'm gonna give him a recap when you're done. I mean, it was a sick fight, but if regis thinks he's getting a world title shot or winning a world title anytime soon, I think he's a little delusional. I thought he fought well, but I also because his opponent was Jojo Diaz that fight never should have been close and he never should have been hurt as much as he was. I think the announcers were spot on. His punch resistance is gone.

Speaker 1:

I had to fight a draw. I don't think he won and I definitely don't think he won 98, 92 by any stretch of the imagination.

Speaker 3:

God damn. No, that was no, it wasn't one card one card had it like that.

Speaker 1:

But oh man, at the end of the day I'm glad he won and I, I, uh, I thought it was an awesome fight. It was definitely fun to watch. Also, the, the ref and the doctor were really like the worst part of that fight yeah, that was so.

Speaker 2:

They were like, with the cut in the 12th, like come on, just go. What are you doing?

Speaker 1:

every time the round would start, they'd call a time out right away but like the 10th.

Speaker 2:

I hate when they do that like time, like no, it's the 10th round, it's the final round. Fucking let him go. Uh, sly says jojo has never been a slugger. I actually want to say something about jojo real quick. I guess he really was like an alcoholic. But there's one thing you can't teach and that's like talent and and I think he really prepared for this fight. You know what I mean. He said I'm straight, I left. Uh, yeah, he was at 140, but if he just let his hands go a little more, he would have easily pulled away with this one. He was just too stagnant. He did land the harder shots, the shots that obviously stumbled, and fucked Regis up.

Speaker 3:

Oh man, I didn't see. I'm like what is going on.

Speaker 2:

I think Regis definitely with his jab. I thought he did enough to win a slim decision. You know what I mean. Definitely not 98, 92, but I think if Jojo Jojo's like probably kicking himself like bro, cause his prime's coming to an end and you can't teach the talent he has, he's probably like fuck man. If I just wasn't such a dumb party animal and and really stuck with it like I would, he his career would be in a totally different path, because both these guys have fought tough opposition. They don't duck anyone. I got to give him that Regis as well. But again, I agree with you Punch Regis has a chin like mine. That shit is glass man. And then we talked about it. He wants to do bare knuckle. I think his style and most people think his style is all wrong for Bare Knuckle. I know it's good money and you're a fighter at heart, but I don't.

Speaker 3:

He ain't taking those punches right now.

Speaker 1:

He don't need to be going back there.

Speaker 3:

And he's so flat-footed man.

Speaker 2:

His jab looked really sharp, though His jab was fucking.

Speaker 3:

He threw like a triple jab His combos looked goodes. He threw like a triple jab.

Speaker 1:

I'm like, oh okay, His combos looked good.

Speaker 2:

He would throw combos His offense is yeah, it's just, his chin is just weak and you can't train that Like he's sad, whatever. And it didn't used to be like that. No, no, it didn't. But then again, I mean he did move up in competition in it.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Like Josh Taylor, though the Josh Taylor fight, I thought for sure he lasted with him, and Josh Taylor at that time was a pretty hard puncher.

Speaker 3:

He might be the only person that we ever know that got ruined by Haney.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true, but yo, Punch. I want to give you some props real quick, because the first thing I noticed was that fucking fit and I'm not trying to fluff you, your sound is actually annoying me but I do want to give you props because, dude, that fit was fucking fire. You hooked him up with the shoes as well, right?

Speaker 1:

Yes, I actually kind of designed the shoes.

Speaker 2:

Did you see the fit dude? He had the new Thanks for Playing shirt on which was sick Probably one of their sickest shirts yet and the shoes the matching purple that shirt is fire the purple, gold and black and it didn't look like the Kobe purple and black.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. You see that and you automatically think Kobe. I saw that and thought something new. So again, dude props to you for that. You are a creative genius in that area and he looked fucking sharp. Um sly says that shirt is awesome sly also says punch equals drip sly's fluffing you up more than me, man. Congrats sly. Uh, I'm wearing a shirt. Yeah, he just got done driving.

Speaker 3:

He's got swamp ass, it's all good um, he got the dad shoes on probably how was?

Speaker 2:

How was the mountains real quick, though, were you really in the mountains?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was alright, it was fine.

Speaker 2:

That's it.

Speaker 1:

I'm not an outdoorsy type guy anymore. So I don't really give a shit.

Speaker 2:

Alright, damn. I was expecting a cool story. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

No, it's nothing. I was expecting a cool story. I don't know. No, it's nothing. All right, I was bored most of the time.

Speaker 2:

Damn All right. Well, that sucks, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3:

Did you get some ideas while you were out there?

Speaker 2:

Let's keep it moving, though. Again, it's 6-10, and I have to prep and do a bunch of shit for this interview quickly and I'm not technically sound. We're going to close it out real quick with Oscar Duarte versus Kenneth Sims Jr for a super lightweight title eliminator. This was another. I thought it was a good fight, but I got to say something, man. After Ryan Garcia's loss, oscar Duarte has been fucking locked in, but he looks like a. Again, I don't know anything. I didn't hear anything. I don't want to make false accusations, but just by looks alone, that dude is eating some Canelo meat. Bro, he's a tank Dude, he's eating Canelo meat. There's no way you look like that at 140, bro. No, there's no way you look like that at 140.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's fucking solid bro.

Speaker 2:

That dude from head to toe and when you see his back like the way it's fucking, it is just my favorite word girthy, that dude is fucking jacked bro.

Speaker 1:

He got a.

Speaker 2:

Holyfield bag. Yeah, like what's Holyfield known for.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, true, I wonder if Sims is my cousin Really. Yeah, really, you got a bunch of cousins I'm. If Sims is my cousin Really.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, really you got a bunch of cousins.

Speaker 3:

I'm a little last name to Sims.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, man, maybe you got a lot of cousins, man, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I do have a bunch of them. Hey who do you think won that fight?

Speaker 2:

Both of y'all. So I watched it today. Actually, the full fight start to finish and I honestly thought just by the pressure alone Duarte did enough.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, barely right.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah Like.

Speaker 2:

Kenneth Sims did great in spots, very good in spots, but that like pressure and looking like that, he just looked very frail. You know what I mean it just by looks, and I'm not. He did good on the inside. He landed some good inside body shots, but nothing really affected Duarte. You know what I mean it? Just by looks, and I'm not. He did good on the inside. He landed some good inside body shots, but nothing really affected Duarte. You know what I'm saying. Well, he don't have power either really.

Speaker 1:

No, no, he's got a KO percentage, it ain't good.

Speaker 2:

And he again. It was a close fight, it was pretty close.

Speaker 3:

But I do, I got to edge, not edge, but I gotta give it to duarte just because the pressure dude, like the pressure, the combos, um, I feel like, um, sims is probably the like, the most like hurt in the fight.

Speaker 2:

So, yeah, definitely, it's like and if you gotta, if you gotta, if you're gonna fight off the back foot like that, you gotta keep throwing and landing like like he was. He was in spots, but just duarte was fucking going to the body. Yeah, he was, yeah, he was, yeah, lighting the head up, and he just looked so much bigger. He looked like he was in control. I guess he looked like he was in way more control.

Speaker 1:

It was the same thing you said about the JoJo fight. I felt like if Sims just let his hands go a little bit more, he would have won, Because the landing sets were actually pretty close. And not only that, I mean, the scorecards were really close too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, but just by like optics alone, it kind of looked like Duarte was winning those rounds, you know what I mean. And then in the 12th especially, Duarte looked like a.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he did not do enough in the 12th Duarte looked like a Spartan Dude.

Speaker 2:

he's just fucking yoked.

Speaker 3:

And he was fighting in the pocket. Since we're switching and shit, I noticed.

Speaker 2:

I noticed something too about duarte, his uh, I forget which one it was he's a righty right. Yeah, so his his left bicep, right it looks fucked up he tore yeah I don't know if he tore in this fight, but that takes no, it's been like that for a while really has it. I never noticed that.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, go back and look at any pictures of him, it's always like weird, like that really so, but he didn't get the surgery.

Speaker 2:

So when you tear it and get the surgery it doesn't look like ball-y like that. So they say you lose like 60% of your strength in your bicep. Not that you need a bicep to punch, but that's just something to think about. Like imagine if this guy was fully like he'd be fucking. That's his lead hand.

Speaker 3:

You know what His arm looked like? A damn from Lord of the Rings who got myself to look like that.

Speaker 2:

You could do it. They say when you're older right Old people they don't suggest the surgery. But if you're young and active, they suggest you get the surgery because then you'll get at least 80%, 85% of the strength back. Why do you think he didn't get it?

Speaker 1:

Hey guys, I got to go real quick.

Speaker 2:

My bad, no, no, you're good, we're about to be out anyway, because we got to wrap this up anyway guys, it's good talking y'all yep, take care, bro, later.
