Speaker 2:We're a week removed now but we gotta speak on A lil'. Mikayela Meyer did her thing. Shout out to Michaela Did her thing. Michaela Meyer versus Sandy Ryan Left crying. Bruce Carrington was also on that card. Bruce Carrington last night on the card was looking quite dapper in a suit on the mic. He's everywhere he's going to be. He's going to go somewhere with that. He's got a little retirement plan already, if they ever give him that belt shot.
Speaker 1:He's well-spoken, he's doing, he's everywhere, he shows up and supports everybody, everybody that he knows.
Speaker 2:We had a little Well, yesterday, saturday, sunday, today, yesterday we had a whole fight extravaganza Richard Torres versus Guido Vianello. That was a cool heavyweight matchup. I lost my parlay on that, but I will speak on a sparlay that I did win. I'm sorry, not parlay sparlay. Abdullah Mason did his thing as usual. Yeah, that's pretty much it right.
Speaker 1:I thought I had more. You did have more. We have, uh what do you? Got damn well trevor. Yeah, no, not trevor, um, it's not no, telvin, telvin, uh, zapata farmer and oh, oh, tevin farmer and zap yeah.
Speaker 2:yeah, we do have that too. That was another great fight.
Speaker 1:Who else is that? That's it. No, we did Nick Ball, right, nick Ball. We did that last episode, right.
Speaker 2:We're all fucked up. We'll get going, though We'll get going. Once this energy drink kicks in, I'm going to be yapping your ears off All into Michaela Meyer, because we're a little removed. A little removed. Michaela Meyer versus Sandy Ryan 2 in Las Vegas, baby, and what a fight it was. It was an amazing fight.
Speaker 1:What a fight.
Speaker 2:It wasn't as good as the first fight, though, because Michaela Meyer pitched a goddamn shutout.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah. And it's crazy she did everything that we said she needed to do.
Speaker 2:For real. So we said in the buildup that this is going to be a close fight and it's going to be on whoever could make the adjustments, and it's going to be hard. Well, one fighter did make adjustments and one other fighter made adjustments, but the wrong adjustments, the wrong adjustments. So they both made adjustments. Yeah, mikayla Meyer just did not move around as much, nope, but moved around when she needed to and she was going both ways for us.
Speaker 1:She was, she was moving both left and right and moving away from the right hand.
Speaker 2:But the one thing I was like yo this is crazy.
Speaker 1:We said all that shit. Yo you had to move the right. Yo she wasn't moving the right way. The first fight.
Speaker 2:Nah, the fight was great for her man she was on the front foot. She left nothing. She left no question on the table better box she won almost every round.
Speaker 2:I think two, maybe two or three rounds. You could have gave the other way, just because, uh, more times than not, she stayed in the pocket and banged and we said, like, like, we said that sandy ryan's punches may have been affecting michaela. Like you know what I mean. This time michaela's punches may have been affecting Michaela. Like you know what I mean, this time Michaela's punches were affecting Sandy and she stopped her in her tracks. It was great to see.
Speaker 2:And one thing we often overlook with Michaela that I thought about in this fight and we never talk about it she got a chin man. Oh yeah, she has a chin. That's back-to-back fights with Sandy Ryan, who could crack Bum Gardner. Arguably that was another close fight, but she ate her punches. She was still standing there for her. She's got a chin man and her defense is decent, but with that chin she's going to be tough out for anybody man. They're saying now she wants Natasha Jones, lauren Price she already beat Natasha Jones. She wants Lauren Price now to unify. That'll be Sandy Ryan, natasha Jones and then Lauren Price. She's just cleaning out the Europeans, bro. She's just cleaning them out. She might have to go over there, cross the pond for that, and you know what I'm rooting for her. Let's bring those belts back to America.

Speaker 2:Shushu. Yeah, shushu versus Enrique Vivas. It hit me this fight. It only lasted three rounds, but if you were listening to Tim Bradley in the first and even the second round, you would have thought Shushu was doomed. I don't know what that guy's deal is. I usually like him, but he's got something against New York fighters I think. I think he forgot who Shushu was. He must have just forgot who Shushu was the first round. He's like oh, I don't like what I see. I don't like what I see. I'm like, bro, it's the first round. He's like I don't like what I see. Shushu's doing this. I don't like it. It's not looking good. Enrique showing pressure. Second round Shushu knocks Enrique down. Did you forget? Shushu has pop and power. It was very weird to me. And then third round Tim Bradley. Like he like once Shushu stopped him and knocked him down again, tim Bradley like got hit with that men in black pen and totally forgot Shushu is great, he's gonna be great, and I know it's hard to sit up there and just chat.
Speaker 2:it's hard to sit up here and chat, so I can only imagine, but I was like something with new york fighters, because he cooks jahai all the time yo, it's crazy, because yesterday, yesterday jahai fought.
Speaker 1:Yesterday yesterday he, he, he just went blank for a couple of rounds and shit, like I'm like oh bro, you, is you like you?
Speaker 2:commentating. At least he kept it a little nicer because he used to cook Shahab bad, but still I noticed that though, but he sees the talent, bro.

Speaker 2:Shushu is number one in all the rankings. Right, he's the number one contender for a belt in all the rankings and he's over there cooking him like he's a nobody in the first round. And that's what happens when you're the number one contender. And hey, man, I hope he gets that belt because he's getting, he's older, shushu's older, so he's pushing 30 now. Speaker 2:He came out right. You hear a piano playing and you're like what the fuck? What is that? What is that? Then they zoom in and he had a live pianist. I don't know if I said that right. I can't say it without saying, like penis, he had a live pianist right and she was in there and it was like yo, it was gangster. Like you remember when tyson came out with chains? Yeah, it had that vibe like this dude's just walking out to like a piano vibe, like it was crazy. Even tim bradley was like yo, that go hard, what the hell it was cool.
Speaker 1:Even Tim Bradley was like yo that go hard. What the hell it was cool man. That was cool as shit. I didn't see that shit, I didn't see it.
Speaker 2:And yo. This fight lived up to it and you know, richard Torres learned from this man. He learned from this fight. Guido probably learned from it too. Unfortunately, guido took the L Scorecards were a little wide in my he definitely won a lot of rounds. The middle rounds?
Speaker 1:definitely First two maybe not, he was using his length, he was just punching them, dabbing them One-twos. You know what I'm saying?
Speaker 2:Torres is like tiny but mighty man.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he kept on that overhand, yeah.
Speaker 2:It was landing. He needs to watch this film, though. He needs to watch the film of this fight and see what he was doing wrong and he's correct he got tired and you can tell that he got, he got tired, but yo, he didn't get as tired as like guido.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he he 10 rounds. Throwing like that as a heavyweight dude is great, like he do not stop, but he started leading with his head. Yeah, that was when he did get tired. He was, and guido caught on and was clipping that uppercut. So, and a more seasoned heavyweight with some more power. It's gonna be a problem for torres. He knows that, though He'll look at the video of this, see the mistakes he's made. This was a great step-up fight for him and I like Guido too, man Guido you know he is who he is.
Speaker 2:It was a good fight though. It was an exciting fight Because at times you're like, oh man and listen, I bet Torres and my spar life for this one and he didn't get the knockout. But at times you were like there's no way Guido could last. And then the middle rounds come and he's half-stepped back with that uppercut when he lead with the head and boom caught him.
Speaker 1:He was looking drunk a couple of times but, he was still in that fight yeah, yeah, he was looking drunk, but he was a constant pressure though. That's why, and like the type of pressure, constant pressure.
Speaker 2:Torres, like has these sneaky chin down in your chest, those sneaky overhands? Yeah, and he was clipping Guido with that.
Speaker 1:He didn't have no time to like breathe really yeah, no breaks.
Speaker 2:Guido's always on the back foot. You know, guido used to be like a really good tennis player, apparently, or so you would think he'd be a little better on his feet, because tennis that side to side like people that play tennis have the best feet in the world.
Speaker 1:he's big yeah, he's big to be playing tennis, boy. You saw the you saw the size difference too, you're like yeah, and we seen him real like.
Speaker 2:We seen Torres real like this dude's massive, he's big, he's shorter, but he's like imagine when he was making him look small. He looked very small, yeah, but that's that next level of heavyweights, man. And props to Torres, you know he did get the win and, more importantly, in my opinion, because this fight wasn't like for a contender, I don't think, or anything like that, it was just one of those great heavyweight matchups. That entrance was awesome, bro.
