Speaker 1:

It's time for the main event. It's the Sparring Podcast.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's a knockout. Yo guess what episode, willie.

Speaker 1:

Uh, a hundred.

Speaker 2:

No, it would be a party for a hundred yeah. Guess what guess, what? Take a wild guess.

Speaker 1:

Huh.

Speaker 2:

Take a wild guess don't look at my screen though 47.

Speaker 1:

president guess. Huh, Take a wild guess. Don't look at my screen though 47 president, 59.

Speaker 2:

Huh 59.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, 50.

Speaker 2:

59. Yeah, about.

Speaker 1:

I think it's actually more. I think too, we got 59?.

Speaker 2:

Like 59 counted. Yeah, but that's not including like interviews, make sure y'all like and subscribe to us.

Speaker 1:

man, Follow us.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I thought I turned that off. What the heck was that? That was a noti, a notification, episode 59 of the Sparrow Inboxing Podcast. Here we are. As usual, I'm not hungover. It was St Paddy's Day weekend. Oh yeah, willie was not with me.

Speaker 1:

My ride or die, was not with me. You had a lot too much fun for me.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was, you know, I knew this On a Sunday Wow, Sunday, St Paddy's Day Sunday weekend I was over at MSG with my Irish folk and man, it's probably a good thing Willie wasn't with me, because we probably wouldn't be friends anymore.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But I made a lot of friends, a lot of Irish friends, a lot of Irish friends, a lot of Irish frenemies.

Speaker 1:

It was a good time I heard you was out. You was out. I don't know. I don't know how your wife felt about this one.

Speaker 2:

Well, so should I get into that, or should we go about the fight first? What do you think I'll get into it? Yeah, all right.

Speaker 1:

You know the people love the stories.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true, before we get into it. So yeah, kalen Walsh, he's like the new Irish guy for boxing in America. He's out of California, he is, I think, like what? Maybe 14 fights, 13 fights.

Speaker 1:

I never knew they had Irish people in California.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, dude, the Irish people, people are like everywhere, everywhere. But he fights with uh like dana, why? And uh, he's under tom lawfler, though, and under 360 promotions, but dana white is, I think, maybe his manager. I I don't know. I don't know how dana white's in the mix, but he's in the mix with him and he was at the fight. Um, great guy. I've seen him before. Actually, we interviewed uh via real and they fought at MSG a while back. That was actually a really tough, tough, close fight. I thought Via Real pulled it off but they gave it to Kalem. But since then, kalem has been showing great promise, and forget about all that. I'm a big fan now and I'm going to go into detail why. So I'm over there MSG. He's like the new Mick Conlon. Mick Conlon was every St Paddy's Day weekend fighting at MSG. They ran with that. So this is what they did for Kalem. Cool, you knew I was going. Willie didn't want to go. I was like all right, willie, sit this one out. This one's for the whities.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, no, but it's on a Sunday, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, it was rough, but our fellow people were asking and make sure y'all like so I don't have to work no more make sure y'all subscribe.

Speaker 2:

People were asking though where's willie, where's willie?

Speaker 1:

I swear oh wow, thank you guys, appreciate y'all. Man like three people um, but three people no, no, no, no, for real though people weren't asking it was.

Speaker 2:

It was a little different, but you know so. It's saint patty's's Day weekend In New York City. I'm gonna be drinking heavy, as usual. I'm at a boxing match anyway, but this was a little different. So I was drinking Guinness, which is a weaker beer, but a thousand of anything Will fuck you up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, why would you be drinking Guinness? Though it's St Paddy's Day weekend, you got it, yeah. So Puma is one of those guys that go with the flow, maybe so like as October Pumpkin Beer, irish, what else? What other ones?

Speaker 2:

Black History Month. I'm crushing the Henny crushing the Henny right. So it is what it is, man. It's what we do gotta represent what? Yeah, it is what it is, man. That's what we do Got to represent what.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, oh shit, that was good, nah, but for real.

Speaker 2:

So I'm there, right, I'm there. At the fight we sat ringside. I brought my Irish friend. He enjoyed it. He met Dana White. It was cool 360 promotions put on a hell of a show. Now why my wife Back to what we started? Why my wife wants to kill me? She gave me one rule Just catch the last train out of New York City back to Long Island.

Speaker 2:

That was it. My one rule is to catch the train. Now I go to the after party. Right, somehow. I got a bracelet and got into the after party at Legend sports bar, which is awesome. Caleb walsh won, he. There's a big after party. All the irish are there. I get in and at this point my friend had left and I knew I was trying to get in that party. So I got into the party. I'm in there. Who walks in? Team walsh? Caleb walsh walks in and what does he do? He looks at me. He goes hey, the spa red. Now I'm hooked, now I'm hooked, now I'm hooked. And then what happens? We're drinking, drinking, drinking. I'm meeting all the fighters and I'll talk about those fighters in a minute. I'm mingling with the fighters, having beers with them. That's one thing I will say cool about the Irish they're drinking with you post-fight. They're just sitting there, and other boxers have done that before and other boxers have done that before.

Speaker 2:

But this was like almost all of them, like they were all there, all the fighters too, like not all, but there was like a handful, like five, six of them boozing it up. None of them don't drink, Nah, nah, I mean they're just having a beer or two, you know, like a beer with dinner, not like me. But so we're there. And then now what happens after that party? Kalem Walsh was having a few beers. Now this is where stuff gets a little blurry. But then Kalem looks at me again and he goes ah, this bar in, come on, we're going to Jack Doyle's. I'm like that's the bar up the block and I'm like all right, yeah, let's go Fast forward. It's now 5 am, maybe 4.30.

Speaker 2:

I'm still at jack oils and I'm at work and I'm texting him. He's like man, I'm still out. I'm like what I may, or may not have a shirt.

Speaker 1:

Uh, we were doing rick flair chops me and the irish yeah it's on the video somewhere.

Speaker 2:

I'm glad no one has it. Well, someone has it, but I'm glad it hasn't, uh, made its way to the socials, um, because I don't know what the fuck was going on. But yeah, it was a great night. Great night I ubered home. Yeah, my hand was bruised. So shout out to that guy too. He was like family irish dudes, all right. Yeah, that was it, but that's what happens on saint patty's day weekend that sounds like a great time I slept all day monday, I was just out.

Speaker 2:

I don't even there was no saint patty's day for me because I was cooked. But now the fights themselves. On that Sunday, the Kalem Walsh fight 154. I don't want to say prospect, he's kind of like moving his way up to a contender. Now those fights themselves. There's something and I've been a critic of, like the Irish boxing circuit. I've been a little like, oh you know, yeah, I think it's just because the competition amongst themselves isn't really all that. Been a critic of like the irish boxing circuit. I've been a little like, oh you know, yeah, I think it's just because the competition amongst themselves isn't really all that. Like you know, in america we have so many different people coming we. We could go all over the world. Really we're an island. Nobody's really going to ireland to to box. You know what I mean so it wasn't the guy.

Speaker 1:

He fought too yeah, yeah his record was so good, but but he's.

Speaker 2:

Same.

Speaker 1:

Thing yeah, he's probably not fighting the best competition, but hear me out.

Speaker 2:

They talk about Mexican style. Right, yeah, there's something to be said about the Irish style. And the Mexican style is full of grit and always comes to bang and fights with their heart, always a war, right. The Irish style is pretty much the same thing, or a close 1A, because that whole card man, every Irish dude, was fighting his ass off. It was a great card man.

Speaker 1:

There was an argument for what could be fight of the night, and that's what you want on a card. It reminds me of the movie Gangs of New York. Yeah, yeah, they were just throwing and drinking, dude but with skill.

Speaker 2:

And it was like Kale.

Speaker 1:

I like how Kale fights yeah, he have like so much motion, like it's like he's flat footed for a little bit, but when he throws punches he's moving.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, his punches come forward like he's moving forward and he has power in both hands, and that was shown yeah, he does no distance. That's crazy but you, he's training in Cali with Freddie Roach.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's why I was like I was watching. I'm like that's Freddie Roach.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, the gray hair he's getting old looking man, Freddie getting old looking, but hey, he's still there training with him how the hell, his hands still work.

Speaker 1:

What are they doing, mints and?

Speaker 2:

shit that shit hurts.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, elbows forearms. He probably got broken limbs just from punches.

Speaker 2:

Listen, he's a Hall of Fame great trainer, one of the most respected out of the West Coast. But Kalem did the right thing. He came over here. He's with Freddie, he's sparring a lot of people. He's getting out of that. You know you're stuck. You're only as far as your sparring partner pushes you you know what I mean or your team pushes you, so he's out of that mold. But man, the Irish, they all fought with great, great heart and I respect that a lot because that card was amazing, it was a fun, fun card, man, it was all action.

Speaker 1:

They should have had that other dude on the edge who? I think, the dude that fought Zan Zayas. I think that's who he fought. He fought an Irish dude.

Speaker 2:

We was at the fight. We was at the fight.

Speaker 1:

He was fighting an Irish dude, or somebody was fighting an Irish dude. They went the distance. Oh no, no, I don't know. What's the dude name. What's his name? What's the dude name? I don?

Speaker 2:

his name? What's the dude name? There's a lot of dudes, a lot of dudes.

Speaker 1:

He got a lot of swag. He's a white boy and he fought on the Irish dude and the Irish. They went the distance. You remember what you was talking about.

Speaker 2:

He was at the fight. Google, what fight?

Speaker 1:

I don't know the fight we went to.

Speaker 2:

We went to a lot. I don't know the fight we went to. We went to a lot. We go to a lot of fights.

Speaker 1:

He's known too. It's not a Smith right, no, oh.

Speaker 2:

Shit, you'll figure it out. But yeah, they all freaking how hard was that, though that's what I mean. We go to so many damn fights.

Speaker 1:

I think it was a Keyshawn card too, maybe.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, it was yeah, see who, who now it'll come back, um, but yeah, dude. So so now, speaking of caleb walsh and stuff and and the 154 pound division, that is a tough, tough division. Uh, but they need to start putting some respect on caleb walsh's name, because what I like in a fighter is when he shows improvement in each fight and, like that's what he did, he shows out with a first round ko as the main attraction. That's what you want versus, you know, a tough opponent, not not the best opponent, but Sutherland. Nobody expected that. So the super welterweight division has a problem on their hands with Kalem, and he's only getting better and he's only 24. Or 23, maybe, oh Vito. Oh Malinicki, he's Italian man, yeah, no, but he fought. Conor. Oh the Irish dude, yeah, yeah yeah, it was a close fight.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, See what I mean the Irish come to fight man.

Speaker 1:

They come to fight. Yeah, you're right, but it had been two. Yeah, he just fought though.

Speaker 2:

I did hear, though, too. So Kalen Walsh got the first round knockout. This is another thing you like to see as he moves up. He's fighting again in two months in Cali, and I heard it's a bigger name. So that's what you want to see. Activity. And 154 is on fire right now. Man Boxing period Boxing's dead. There's a lot of competition going on in all these weight divisions.

Speaker 1:

I don't even know which one is the best right now.

Speaker 2:

You gotta just pick from 135 to every division that fights. It's true, man, it's a great time to be a boxing fan, it is definitely great, I think, every division. Don't let the fraud fans fool you.

Speaker 1:

Even the light of division is like 126.

Speaker 2:

130. Don't let the fraud fans fool you. Boxing is on a high again and I hope it stays. Another guy at 154 who made his return, though I'll stick to this card. Yeah, I'll stick. Actually, fuck it, I'll just get back to that. Who cares? We're all over the place today, a little unorganized.

Speaker 1:

I mean, who else are you going to talk about?

Speaker 2:

Well, another guy at 154 now who moved up, who also fought while we were gone, keith.

Speaker 1:

Thurman One time, oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Hairline Thurman's back.

Speaker 1:

Back in the mix. He went crazy. He showed improvement.

Speaker 2:

I guess. But that you know, woody fight. Yeah, it just showed that there's like still levels.

Speaker 1:

You know his trash talking is the fucking best.

Speaker 2:

He reminds me a little bit of like Roley, Like you don't know what he's going to say. You don't know if he's thinking while he's speaking.

Speaker 1:

He's way smarter than Roley. Yeah, yeah, yeah, way smarter.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, way smarter. I'm saying trash talk wise. You know, when they talk, you're like wait, what's he about to say? Oh, oh, he went there.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he got like a. His trash talk is like a muhammad ali flow like. It's like a flow like inspirational. Yeah, I don't know if keith irvin's inspirational, but he, he talks shit, but it'd be like funny, but it's like like mature, mature shit talk he'd be saying like, like some real shit in between.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what you're saying, um yeah, but that that's another guy at 154. Now he moved up and looked good, so that he'll. He'll. Always someone's gonna try, someone in the top 10 is gonna try and take him out because that's a big money fight yeah, that's the only big money. Thurman did his thing, though you know what I mean I. I don't think he's gonna beat a top 15 guy maybe 10, but I want to fight tim right think he's going to beat a top 15 guy maybe 10.

Speaker 1:

He still want to fight Tim right.

Speaker 2:

Like he's not going to get a—yeah Zu, that's a big money fight, but I don't think he's going to get a belt shot. You know, I just—he's getting old man, that's what happens.

Speaker 1:

Who do you think— Like he's not going to beat a belt contender. Who do you think would be a good fight for him? Who do you think would be a good fight for him For Thurman Walsh Next fight?

Speaker 2:

Caleb Walsh Nah, that won't be next fight. Nah, there's who I mean. You're always going to watch Thurman, no matter what, because you know he has knockout power. When you have knockout power, there's always going to be a draw, no matter how old you get or how bad your hairline looks now, because his hairline, but he's sporting it. He's sporting it and I think that helps. His shit talk is how weird his hair looks now and what he was, what he was.

Speaker 2:

But yeah, you know, he's back in the mix, man, back in the mix at 154. That's a great division. And back to the Irish card, though, there was another fight. Who was also out having beers after Fergal McRory I'm mispronouncing his name, but I confirm, everyone calls him Fergal McRory versus Keenan Carbajal.

Speaker 2:

That fight was fight of the night and and that's what I meant by that like Mexican style. That's really what solidified it for me that there's something to be said for Irish style, because he was deducted a point, right. Keenan was deducted a point for holding early. Then he gets a knockdown and then I think it was the seventh and eighth Fergal comes back and knocks him down and then out, and the crowd went ballistic, bro, and you couldn't blink because it was like whoa, and he never gave up. He was slugging the whole time, and that's the Irish. And then he had beers after which I'm sure the Mexican-style fighters do as well. So there's something to be said for Irish-style fighting. I think we've got to bring that out. Everyone always talks about Mexican style. What about the Irish style?

Speaker 1:

I'm Irish today, he's in green. He Irish today, he's in green.

Speaker 2:

He's in green, look at that. But yeah, great card man, great card Props to Loffler and 360 Promotions they put on a great, great show.

Speaker 1:

How was Dana White? He was cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he was cool. So I did meet Dana White real quick, but then he got bombarded. I was really drunk at that point too, but he's great with the fans, I think of course I said something about Teofimo Lopez, I don't know why. Why I was drunk, I was supporting my guy. Why Always supporting my guy? So, yeah, why I don't know, but he's like, oh yeah, he's pretty good. And then he got bombarded. At least you got a picture with him. There was something funny I did that I kind of regret. So, okay, this has nothing to do with the fighters or anything, but so there's somebody sitting in front of us, right, yeah, this chick she's clearly from Cali Showing a lot of skin.

Speaker 1:

Pretty chick right.

Speaker 2:

And she's with her man, or whatever right, yeah.

Speaker 2:

And he's just, you know, you know you wander around when you sit there and like you just mingle or whatever. He was probably like real cool, cool couple, cool as hell to us you know no beef. And I, she goes, oh, like he was gone for a little while, and she looks behind and she goes do you know where he went? And like me and my boy, I'm joking around and I'm like totally kidding. I'm like, oh, I think I saw him talking to some chick. I was like, oh, I'm just, it was obvious I was joking. I was like I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding, she must have been drunk too or just crazy. Because he came back, bro, and then she started flipping out on him and like people were turning around not watching the fights, like what the fuck?

Speaker 1:

yo, that was crazy every time you go, but I wasn't starting to start. No, it sounded like you instigated it.

Speaker 2:

This one, yes, but not on purpose. I was like oh shit, my bad. It was funny though.

Speaker 1:

He probably talked to some chick, yeah, okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it was obvious this drunk lunatic behind me is kidding. Anybody would have figured that out.

Speaker 1:

No, he probably thought y' I was friends and shit yeah.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, but it was funny. That was a good little side fight, little side couple fight going on. I was like oh shit, my boy's next to me. He's like oh shit.

Speaker 1:

We're just watching this. Now Look what you done started.

Speaker 2:

But then luckily it was a quick first round knockout and they got out of there.

Speaker 1:

So that was good. That was good, I was partying with my grandma.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, how old she was, born on St Paddy's Day. She's 96, now 96. Wow, clap it up for her. That's the one I've ripped shots of Henny with before yes 96, drinking Henny 96, man Damn.

Speaker 1:

We bought her plenty of bottles of Henny and you know we did something nice, like we had put paint on her arms and had a hug us. They found it on tiktok. Oh for, like the shirts or whatever. Yeah, for shirts. Nice, I gotta put something on the front. So that's good, I'm about to come to you, you know, put something on the front.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what to put on it, but oh, like uh, yeah, yeah, let me know, I gotta figure it out. Oh, that's so I did give out. Speaking of that, uh gave out shirts yeah, I, yeah I gave out a lot of shirts. Someone hit me up in the DMs and was like hey, Wait, you just walked in there with a bunch of shirts. Yeah, backpack full of shirts.

Speaker 1:

They just let you in with a backpack and shit.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I googled it. It says you're allowed. But no one steal my idea. I'm editing that out. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, yeah. So I gave out a bunch of shirts and hats. That was cool.

Speaker 1:

That's fire.

Speaker 2:

Hopefully they wear them. Guys, please wear them. Yeah, that was cool, though I got some more followers.

Speaker 1:

You know typical boxing weekend you had 1,000 yet no, but it was a good boxing weekend, whatever.

Speaker 2:

I just get the name out there. I don't care, we just do this for fun. Boxing weekend, whatever I just get the name out there. I don't care, we just do this for fun. It is what it is.

Speaker 1:

But yeah, that was a that sounded like a great weekend.

Speaker 2:

It was, it was, oh, speaking of Now again, we're all over the place, but 154. We have a fight to review. We have a fight to review.

Speaker 1:

Fandora. We have a fight to review Fandora.

Speaker 2:

Sebastian Fandora versus Cordell Booker for Fandora's WBC and WBO super welterweight belts at 154. Oh, he got two belts yeah.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know he was unified.

Speaker 2:

Before we get into the fight, though, dude, I posted this as well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Fandora is a fucking science project. He is a science project and people need to like.

Speaker 1:

He's like Kevin Durant of boxing.

Speaker 2:

He's like but he weighs less than Kevin 154 at 6'6" dude and like that long. Yeah, he is like That" dude and that long. Yeah, he is like that's crazy. And he weighed in lighter, so that is insane.

Speaker 1:

He's different.

Speaker 2:

No fighter should miss weight. If you're at a weight right, no fighter should have trouble making weight. Whatever he's doing, do it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he should have trouble.

Speaker 2:

Major trouble. He came in lighter. Crazy to me. That's crazy. He weighed under and he's 27 years old. He's not like 20, growing Like 25 to 30, you're usually like, you know, that's when, like you're, you're in wait.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait to see how how big um keon get. Oh yeah, he's another one, he's young he's young, though he's young, yeah 27 though he's. That's like you're hitting your grown man yeah, and he's making 154 like that yeah, crazy, he's just punching, just punching from a distance, crazy combinations, and you know what, uh, and he likes to fight, so it's like he likes to fight, so it's like he likes to bang. He's definitely doing his thing for boxing right now.

Speaker 2:

And Booker, I thought Entertaining. I kind of had a feeling this was going to happen. What did it was a fourth round stoppage.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

I just didn't think it was going to be the fourth round. I thought Booker was going to get in there and I thought I was going to go to eighth. But you know what he did wrong, like the only way to beat fundora that that that was showed. He's been knocked down before and and um was is to just sit there and bang with him and bang harder yeah like big bang, zang, bang harder, like I'm not trying to sound perverted, but bang harder.

Speaker 2:

um, that's really the only way, because I saw right from the beginning Booker was trying to fight off his back foot and he has a good style, smooth style, but you're not going to get away from that length. It's going to hit you. You can't.

Speaker 1:

The ring is too small and his jab was underrated. His jab was working working crazy. And he's just punching down. And that's the crazy he. He's just punching down and that's the crazy, he's so big in there, everybody he's punching down and everything's going to hit you on your forehead or your temple.

Speaker 2:

You could tell. After the second round, Booker was like fuck, I got nothing.

Speaker 1:

Everything is hitting him. I got nothing. Everything is hitting him and it wasn't like he was trying to move.

Speaker 2:

I don't know why his team came like that. It came like that. He was trying to bob and weave and move, but they should know that.

Speaker 1:

You're going to get hit with that elbow.

Speaker 2:

You've got to be ready for war.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you've got to prepare for elbows, all that.

Speaker 2:

And that leads me to my other 154 guy that now is a mandatory WBO, made it a mandatory and he was there and he was calling him out and he's a New York favorite, Xander Zayas.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Apparently, that's next yeah, and I'm rooting for Xander. Obviously he's a New York kid. He's shown major improvements of late. I hope he doesn't dance and he gets ready to bang. No dancing with him, do not dance with Fundor. I will say this though Xander is and he said this too he's taller than he's like. He's not that much taller than me, and when you saw them next to each other.

Speaker 1:

He didn't look. He's taller. That's good for Xander, yeah, because he's. When they get in a fight, he's not going to be able to do the same thing that he's been doing to the rest of these fighters.

Speaker 2:

Who Xander? No, I don't think.

Speaker 1:

Fundora no, Fundora's not going to be able to yeah. It's going to be a little challenge for him because the dude is going to be at, but like how do you prepare for a 6'6 Fundora Like what are you sparring, Tyson Fury?

Speaker 2:

Call Tyson Fury and give him some money.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know who he's going to be sparring.

Speaker 2:

Like you can't prepare pair for that guy, you got to spar heavyweights or cruiserweights. Kokeon you know what I mean? He's that damn tall and like dude. When he punches, when he jams, it's like it just goes that little bit further to hit you.

Speaker 1:

You know what I mean. You got to spar, like at that weight or around that weight?

Speaker 2:

Not many, I don't know. I read too that he's the tallest champion right now amongst champions, at 154. At 154. That's crazy. So out of everybody From heavyweights down, he's the tallest champion.

Speaker 1:

Freaking nature. That's insane dude. Good luck, xander. He's got that one blemish on his record.

Speaker 2:

Listen, xander's a smart fighter. Great pedigree Did show improvement lately, so you have my backing.

Speaker 1:

He don't have that. He don't got that power, though yeah like you're going to need to.

Speaker 2:

He don't have that power. You got to just chin down in his chest and bang. It's going to be an exciting fight for sure, and I hope he's ready for that. We'll preview that when it gets closer. He's ready for that? We'll preview that when it gets closer. But yeah, good for him, though he's getting his shot. I hope we do get that shot.

Speaker 1:

He's chasing a title that's going to be great.

Speaker 2:

He's getting his shot. Yeah, that'll be a cool car. I don't know, though. I don't know how it's going to work, because one's with PBC and one's with top rank, so I wouldn't be too. I mean saying Cinco de Mayo, no, not Cinco de Mayo. I forget what they said.

Speaker 1:

Oh, puerto Rico. Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're not going to do it. Yeah, not when Fandora's the A-side.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, true, they don't do that and who knows, there's going to be a lot of negotiations.

Speaker 1:

Imagine if he do that, if he take that fight on Puerto Rico, I don't think Fandora don't seem like he cares. I don't think that's what I'm saying. He might still take that I wouldn't recommend him to do it.

Speaker 2:

Because it's PBC, remember, and Top Rank. I wouldn't recommend him to do it, so they don't work together usually, unless it's like Tyson Fury, deontay Wilder. You know what I mean. So, we shall see, though, but hey again, fandora is a problem me he's the man to beat at 154. And that's a really tough task, really really tough task. They were talking about moving up in weight, but then he came in lighter. I don't think he's having trouble. That's a great family tree too. His sister's nasty too, she's undisputed at her weight class.

Speaker 2:

That's a crazy. What a proud dad Is he tall? I gotta look that up. I have no clue. And then what else to preview or review first?

Speaker 1:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 2:

Edgar Berlanga, he fought the dude that pumps my gas. Yeah, nice guy, I tip him. Always tip your guy that's pumping your gas. That's actually a Long Island New York thing or a New Jersey thing. It's probably not common in other places. Yeah, they pump gas at certain places here and they found this dude.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, pumped gas at certain places here and they found this dude, yeah full service.

Speaker 2:

So props to my man. He got, yeah, full service. He's been pumping gas and next thing you know he's eating Berlanga's ass. Good for him, man. Yeah, I don't know where that came from? Yeah, me neither. It just rhymed. But yeah, you know I don't want to cook Berlanga too much. It's a stay busy fight. He just coming off the loss to Canelo.

Speaker 1:

He got the knockout.

Speaker 2:

I'm actually mad that I didn't bet the first round knockout.

Speaker 1:

It was in my head. We were just talking about that.

Speaker 2:

I was in my head and I just totally forgot to bet it. I should have. That would have won me some money.

Speaker 1:

I just don't like how he's making it seem like he's bigger than fucking.

Speaker 2:

Bob.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, he's. He's Like you, not to, even though you fought Canelo like he really thought, like he was fighting Canelo and then he was just going to blow up. You have to put on a great performance.

Speaker 2:

I mean he did his.

Speaker 1:

he did what he could versus Canelo, though he didn't do bad, yeah, but he ran a lot and then he turned up at the end.

Speaker 2:

So it's like but who didn't do that versus Canelo, you know?

Speaker 1:

So he didn't do bad yeah but he thought he was going to be like, oh, like, floyd to Canelo.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

His name is just going to blow up right there what it was, though, like I've said it before, like Ber, the top rank, who usually does great with fighters and like to come up, they kind of spoiled Berlanga, like I think Berlanga and I don't think he's bad, he's athletically gifted has pop, major pop. It's just at at that weight class, um, he, they built him up so big like, oh, broke Mike Tyson's knockout record first round, but he fought guys that pump my gas round, but he fought guys that pumped my gas. So it's like it's you you need to. They kind of ruined him and they ran with it. They were looking for that puerto rican great out of new york. It was him and zander, yeah, and, and he'll always be in it because of his power. Um, now listen to caleb plant versus him fight, that's a great fight that's a great fight.

Speaker 1:

It's heating up that fight. It's heating up. He's talking about canelo again. No, you're not getting that fight.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't think he's going to get that again.

Speaker 1:

Who was that other person? Who was another one? Who was another?

Speaker 2:

one. Damn oh uh, the big Mexican guy Jaime Munguia. Munguia yeah, that's the main fight, that they want Him too, but he has a rematch coming up.

Speaker 1:

but even you know so, jaime Munguia, after Canelo took tough fights, you know he took two that's where it's like okay, berlanga he took tough yeah, he took tough fights, berlanga did yeah, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

That's what Even Caleb Plant, after Canelo took a tougher fight. It's kind of like, okay, well, look what these guys are doing. That guy was, I guess he just got out of prison. He did like a 10-year stint in prison. He just looked like a mob. His stomach, he was built like Patrick. It was weird, you know, when a chick has like five kids and then her stomach is like, you know, just naturally her stomach's like you know, her stomach's just full of like the stuff I don't know what it is, I don't know the term.

Speaker 2:

That's what his stomach looked like and I'm like, looking at him, like damn, he looks pregnant like loose skin, just loose, like it's just weird, Weird to see it that way class Whatever.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he's trying to make, he's trying to fucking talk about the. You know what I'm talking about yeah, yeah, don't want to talk about that. They're going to.

Speaker 2:

Like when they don't get a tummy tuck and they're like, oh my God, he's still going.

Speaker 1:

We're going to be canceled.

Speaker 2:

No, we're not. No, we're not. I'm not saying anything bad. Nothing's wrong with that shit. They got the full fire after that, or me. He looked like my stomach Like fuck it. His stomach was fucked up man, yeah, that's funny.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, like what are you doing, dude? Like you could have fought a million other people. That's the guy. Dude made weight, he didn't. Yeah, that's another thing. And then there was some confusion about the way and people were like, oh, you waited when his chain's on, but it wasn't the official. I posted something too. That also confused people. But I was just like, why are you flexing with chains on? And you didn't make weight. That's what I meant, but it came out wrong.

Speaker 1:

I mean whatever.

Speaker 2:

You must have been drunk right in that post too, probably. I remember just like uh, uh, yeah, that was a good little where were we?

Speaker 1:

we were supposed to record earlier, or what we'd miss all these fights, I don't know. Nah, we, um we had an interview.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, that's it. That's our last one. We we interviewed my paisan. My paisano interviewed an italian on saint patty's day weekend, cool, cool.

Speaker 2:

Um, actually, a lot of those irish dudes I met were down for interviews, so we'll see what happens oh, that'd be fine, yeah um, I kind of want to interview calum walsh because I want to hear his version of the night post fight yeah, wow, yeah, I want to hear your story actually, yeah I want to hear his version of what transpired post fight yo, he's dating a, an uh ufc fighter too what yeah, I didn't. I'm like this there was one girl there and it was her, and I remember like I'm like I recognize this chick from somewhere and his arm was around her and stuff, and then I'm like man where do I know this?

Speaker 2:

I'm like maybe from his posts, and then all of a sudden afterwards I was like oh shit, that's the ufc fighter. Uh, her name's like baby shark, that's like her uh nickname. But cool chick, everyone was cool. Um, yeah well, coming up now we got some fights, some boxing, we still miss one, though.

Speaker 1:

what, what? Nick?

Speaker 2:

Ball. Oh well, I'm going to get into that. With a fight that's coming up, You'll see so okay, yeah, let's just pop right into it. We have this weekend, out of Las Vegas, nevada, michaela Meyer versus Sandy Ryan, 2. Dos.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Who do you got in this one, Willie? This is for the WBO welterweight female belt.

Speaker 1:

This is in Vegas.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's where Mikayla fights at right. Yeah, when is she from?

Speaker 2:

I think she's from Cali, part of Cali, but she trains in Vegas at DLX Gym.

Speaker 1:

I was about to say she needs us there because we really held it down for her in the crowd.

Speaker 2:

Nah, she don't need us.

Speaker 1:

I don't know that one was close.

Speaker 2:

Very close fight. So close, very close fight.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to tell you one thing she's going to need to be more on her front foot now, on the back foot the whole time.

Speaker 2:

So I was listening to the lead up. Apparently, Coach Al, her trainers that was the plan was just to go side to side like that. That was part of their game plan. But you're right, I thought when she stayed in there and banged. She did well. Obviously we're not getting hit by Sandy Ryan's punches, so who knows how that feels. But I thought when she was in the pocket is when she landed better shots and they had more thud on them and actually affected Sandy Ryan more.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, when she sat down. Yeah, it was a great fight. I think it's going to play off the same way. I think it's going to be the exact same fight. I just hope there's no more antics before the fight. I don't want to hear no excuses. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I will say this though Whoever makes the right adjustments, this fight is going to win more clearly. But with two-minute rounds and only ten rounds, it's really hard for that to show, or?

Speaker 1:

for that to matriculate.

Speaker 2:

So I mean, it appears that michaela meyer did make an adjustment, so she's training, as she said, more about, like boxing and technique wise, yeah, um, whereas I guess ryan I don't know what ryan's doing, but the espn has been all over my head, so I'm not really sure what ryan's doing. But um, that's it, and you know, I'm back in, mich'm backing Mikayla.

Speaker 1:

Meyer.

Speaker 2:

She's been one of my favorites and she brought Ginny to camp, our friend. Our close friend Ginny's in camp, so yeah, we're rooting for. Mikayla. We're rooting for her.

Speaker 1:

It's going to be a close one man again. You know what I like about this fight, though it's exciting you know what's exciting about it.

Speaker 2:

It's both their faults, but really more so Sandy Ryan. There was an interview a while back and Sandy was like I just don't like you, I just don't like her. And it's one of those things where, sandy Ryan, you never just not like someone. You don't know why All your friends like this person and you're just like I just don't like this motherfucker. I get that a lot for myself. You know what I In a sense it's like Michaela's, like I don't know why this girl doesn't like you. And Sandy Ryan's like I just don't like you, I just don't like you as a person, and that's cool, it's adding fuel.

Speaker 1:

You heard weird shit. She's very to herself, or mean Michaela. They say she's the mean girl. Yeah Well that's just allegedly. She's only mean to me like, I, like, I, like yo. You see the interview with her and uh, uh, uh, boxing j-lo oh, oh, serena, yeah, yeah, that was funny.

Speaker 2:

That was a good interview.

Speaker 1:

Those two vibe together she don't seem so like when they sit in there talking. You know, saying all the rumors is about her being I don't think she's like that dude, she's very I mean. I mean I I'm pretty sure she opened up to people like yeah every time I've I've met her, I've been like wasted, like fanboying, so to me she's been weird yeah to me, but like that's, that's whatever, that's normal, whatever I'm, who the fuck am I?

Speaker 2:

but yeah, probably, but like to to like her friend and when she's around her friends and stuff, she doesn't seem like that. I think just Sandy Ryan's like it's one of those things, dude, where you don't I'm trying to think of a good analogy for that Me. I guess you bring me around your friends or whatever and you think I'm cool, but everyone's like yo get this fucking drunk white guy the fuck out of here. You know it's kind of like. Nah, the fuck out of here.

Speaker 2:

You know it's like it's kind of like nah, but you know what I mean, though there's that one dude growing up in high school.

Speaker 1:

It was you, nah, nah, I ain't just talking about you Nah, nah, nah.

Speaker 2:

You know what I mean. Though you know what I mean, I'm trying to think who would be like that in the media or in a public figure someone that like you, don't know why you just, or to you who's like that, like someone that you just can't. Everyone thinks is cool but you just don't like. Like an athlete, um, I don't know, can't say me now.

Speaker 1:

I said athlete yeah, I don't know. I have no clue.

Speaker 2:

You know what I'm saying, though, like in high school there was that one kid in your circle and you were like I don't know why, I just don't like this guy and like sandy ryan kind of feels that I feel like I don't know why, I just don't like this guy and like Sandy Ryan kind of feels that I feel like I don't know why. I just don't like her, man, just don't like her. So add that to a close fight for a belt in Vegas and you got yourself some good hype right there, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I don't know, I'm not the hater type, you know, oh hi.

Speaker 2:

I could give you a list. You're a good guy, because I got a fucking burn book.

Speaker 1:

I'll cry. I don't pay attention to people like that so much I do. I'm in everyone's business.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's good. I'm here for that fight. Good build up. I'm curious to see the weigh-ins and what I think Sandy Ryan should come in, just covered in paint again.

Speaker 1:

Right? No, or she just should do it to herself and then blame.

Speaker 2:

Or like yeah, no, I would just come in covered in paint.

Speaker 1:

Somebody else is going to do some. I didn't see nothing really on this shit. I don't understand. It's not promoted, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I barely see it.

Speaker 1:

It's fight promoted right. I barely see it. This is a it's fight week now.

Speaker 2:

This part was up for the fight of the year last year, serrano, katie, taylor too.

Speaker 1:

Did they win fight of the year? Yeah.

Speaker 2:

If it wasn't them, this probably would have been fight of the year. Oh, Katie. Taylor Serrano too.

Speaker 1:

They won.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, pretty sure, depending on who you ask.

Speaker 1:

But this was like a right there. This was a great fight.

Speaker 2:

We were there. We were there too, so it was my fight of the year Facts.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, but yeah, the undercard has the whole top-ranked crew. On the undercard is our hometown hero, bruce Shushu Carrington versus Enrique Vegas. I, I think I don't know, but bruce carrington's fighting um now I I hope he's not looking too far ahead. I never want to fight her to look ahead, because you know these dudes are coming hungry. They want to beat bruce. He's a name. You beat bruce, you're, you're pretty much the man, you. You beat the contender. You know the contender for a belt. That being said, bruce has been very vocal this past week about a certain somebody.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay.

Speaker 2:

Who has my Nick Ball? Nick Ball, he's calling out Nick Ball.

Speaker 1:

He has your Nick Ball, all right, okay, nick.

Speaker 2:

Ball just beat Donnie, right Donnie, the other Irish guy that they keep throwing out there from England to tough fights.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I don't know why did he do?

Speaker 2:

that to this man. He came off Inouye, inouye.

Speaker 1:

And Inouye punched his back out, punched his back out. Then he going you see his freaking face, this fight getting lumped up and stuff.

Speaker 2:

It was a dirty, dirty fight. Nick Ball, eyes almost shut. He fights just like Pitbull.

Speaker 1:

I don't think we're going to see him in no time soon, donnie, or whatever.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's part of the England. Whatever, good for him. He took the fight, he got paid.

Speaker 1:

He kind of did his thing. There was kicking involved.

Speaker 2:

He grabbed his leg and then got kicked.

Speaker 1:

It was very weird, yeah, he freaking did taekwondo.

Speaker 2:

Very weird fight. Go, look at those highlights if you didn't see it.

Speaker 1:

But going forward.

Speaker 2:

Bruce Carrington has been verbal as hell that he wants that fight, and I want that too, bruce is chasing belts.

Speaker 1:

He wants that fight and I want that too. Bruce is chasing belts. He wants legacy.

Speaker 2:

That's going to be an exciting fight. It has to be. It can't be in Vegas, though. I know Shushu lives in Vegas, but being that the English, it's easier for them to get to New York and, being that Shushu's from New York, it either has to be in New York or England. I'm okay with it in England because Nick Ball is the A-side. He has the belt.

Speaker 1:

He's the A-side.

Speaker 2:

That'd be cool if Shushu does go over there and say he wins, gets a belt in his backyard. He has that which is tough to do England or New York or bust top rank. It's probably going to be in Vegas or Saudi, probably.

Speaker 1:

Vegas or Saudi. If I had to guess, I would like that it would go to England.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's on my bucket list, but.

Speaker 1:

I wish.

Speaker 2:

Dude, I got like I. These fights are literally draining my life. I have house shit. I got to get done. That I don't have any money for because and it's not so much the tickets, it's not the tickets, it's not the event itself, it's the fucking drinks at these events, that's you. You just want to keep on drinking and buying drinks.

Speaker 1:

I'm enjoying myself. You don't have to. You can, you are.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to start sneaking shit in that ass. You going to wear one of those. I'm going to boof it.

Speaker 1:

You can find some on Amazon and you can carry it in there, because this shit is getting crazy.

Speaker 2:

Or put a cast somewhere. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, you pour the drinks out of the cast.

Speaker 1:

I'm doing that, bro. Bro, yeah, you be getting wild with the drinks man. That shit be. I know it's in my blood. I'm Irish. I got too much shit To go on too. I'm trying to get To these fights, but my daughter Got like Three competitions this month bro.

Speaker 2:

See, but you're a good dad, bro. Be a good dad. This is what it is I'm about to. I don't want to go to Rhode Island. You got the rest of your life. When she's older.

Speaker 1:

I don't want to go to Rhode Island.

Speaker 2:

Trying to go to Atlantic City, though you coming I don't know.

Speaker 1:

All right, we'll see, this month I got two back-to-back. There's a competition next week and the week after. I think the fight is what At the end of the month? Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no, the 12th. Huh, I think May 12th. I thought it was at the end of the month. Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm. Jaron Ennis.

Speaker 1:

Is that the end of the month? I think Box Rec's wrong. Box Rec was wrong. I swear to God no.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, they changed it 4-12. It's right now.

Speaker 1:

Get the fuck out of here.

Speaker 2:

April 12th.

Speaker 1:

Wait, 4-12? Yeah, I don't know, why should that April?

Speaker 2:

12th Geron Ennis versus Stan Jonas. I'm trying to get Willie to go too. I don't know why. Should that April 12th? You know what? Geron Ennis for Sten Jonas? I'm trying to get Willie to go too, but I think it's just me and wifey in Atlantic City. That place is like wannabe Vegas and I love it. Love that they're showing fights there again. Good to see that. And speaking of Atlantic City, another out of boxing news and notes and stuff. You saw the news with Broner. Yeah, I was going to bring that up.

Speaker 1:

I was going to bring that up, my boy has been scamming.

Speaker 2:

Do you know, like the details or?

Speaker 1:

anything. Nah, I don't, I really don't know, but I saw a video resurface that he was having an interview and saying yo, that was bad, he won. He was gambling with John Wall for like three mil and won three mil for John Wall. So I'm thinking like, did he scam John Wall? He's like yo, john Wall's my man. He's been rigging these dice games and card games and it's crazy because there's 21 Savage trying to do it to a streamer.

Speaker 2:

Really yeah got caught, Shit got caught. He got caught with the car.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they out here doing that.

Speaker 2:

I don't shame Broner, this dude I heard. I just read, or heard someone talking about it.

Speaker 1:

Wait you could get arrested for scamming somebody.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, frauding people out of money, that's fraud.

Speaker 1:

No, but like they willingly play.

Speaker 2:

I think this was bigger, though this was like organized, like they were doing like illegal gambling or something. I got to look at the details. But listen, I heard one was for five mil. Somebody, some retired NBA player, got scammed at a $5 million total and another was like 1.5 mil.

Speaker 1:

So two separate and, like that being said, like that's crazy and fun fact, my little cousin was playing dice with him too. I'm about to ask him.

Speaker 2:

With Broner yeah, really.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he was at my grandmother's thing.

Speaker 2:

Oh my goodness, and he was in Florida.

Speaker 1:

Bring him on the show. We wanna hear it. I wanna see if he he's smart, though he's not bad.

Speaker 2:

He probably not. He's like I'm outta here.

Speaker 1:

Nah, I'm done.

Speaker 2:

But that being said, though, right like listen.

Speaker 1:

I'm about to ask him that shit too. I'm gonna ask him. I'm gonna hit him up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't Fault, bro, call him, call him right now I have a regular number.

Speaker 1:

Oh, all right.

Speaker 2:

I was going to say just hold it to the mic and call him, let's see what he says. But I don't fault Broner. Like whatever Scamming these idiots, it's working. But like, if you're an NBA player, right, let me see, like a retired NBA player and you're in the league and you know Broner, you know Broner's history.

Speaker 1:

And you trust Broner With Millies, like what?

Speaker 2:

How dumb is a retired player You're trusting to gamble with Broner, who's always in the public being broke? Just hold it up to the mic, if you could. I hear something ringing a little bit. What are you calling him on? It's late, though.

Speaker 1:

What time?

Speaker 2:

is it Instagram, oh?

Speaker 1:

I know he got his son and shit, Whatever. That would have been funny, but that would have been funny.

Speaker 2:

Right, like if I'm a millionaire, right, I'm not gambling with Broner or like through Broner's company. Like, how silly are you guys, come gamble with me man we'll throw some bets together, yeah, so props to broner for that. Um. In a sense he's gonna be away, probably for a while. Now he's a repeat um always in trouble, always in the news. What?

Speaker 2:

a waste to me when, when he came up, bro like he was the man I thought he was the next great one, like I really did, and maybe it was a lot of hype at the time. Just his hand speed, his IQ, he had it all. He was entertaining, the shit talk was unmatched, but he just couldn't put the hood away sometimes. But it happens, hey, it happens. Yeah, that's really's what else you got, um, I guess. Oh, I got. I heard a little. I don't know if I'm supposed to say anything, but I'm gonna.

Speaker 2:

I heard a little nugget through some important people that uh may or may not have just had a meeting May 2nd in Times Square. That fight yeah, I don't have a good feeling about it. I heard that only 100 to 300 people will be like tickets, expensive, super expensive tickets or dignitaries or whatever, yeah, and then, like everywhere else is going to be so far away, like super far away, and it kind of makes sense because, like how and like like when, the people in times square, it's going to be on the tvs, like the the screens, and they'll be watching it like in the street, far, far away seems yeah that's whack because you got to think of like permits and like the business.

Speaker 2:

A lot goes into it. You can't just pop in the middle of New York City.

Speaker 1:

You've got to bring everybody to business.

Speaker 2:

There's a whole bunch of food and shit, I don't know, man. So hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't think I am. But that being said, we should try to get tickets and get up there, because if not, we come to the spa. I was thinking too, maybe I kind of wanted to maybe just go to a bar in Times Square when that happens, and we'll just watch it from a bar.

Speaker 1:

I think it's right there.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, jimmy's.

Speaker 1:

Corner Jimmy's.

Speaker 2:

Corner, but no TVs in Jimmy's Corner.

Speaker 1:

He's got one little TV. I mean you can watch the fight from wherever you're at the corner, probably, I don't think it's going to be like that man.

Speaker 2:

It's going to be really weird, hey, whatever. But speaking of that fight too, tiofima Lopez and Eddie Reynoso are not training together. I hope Tio is training, though I know he's training. I don't want him to overlook this guy either and I'm kind of getting not to the same extent, but the same way he was mentally, uh, camboso vibes and I wasn't. I don't know, it's only what I see, um and again, I I just don't I don't want him to overlook.

Speaker 2:

I just like when. I like when a pro fighter at that level in a training camp, like you know what I mean he entertaining people right now, yeah, I know that's. I don't know if I like it.

Speaker 1:

He was on the stream, yeah.

Speaker 2:

You see him, he's building his brand more and more Everywhere, bro, and he carried that promotion. He carried the promotion.

Speaker 1:

He was over there with Aiden Ross.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Andrew Tate. Oh yo, those fellas. You know what I'm saying, he.

Speaker 2:

But that's good. I guess that is good.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

The fight isn't too far away, Like it's a month or two. Yeah, that's all. That's just. I hope he's you know he's doing his thing, though I ain't going to lie, like social media-wise, yes, but like you could do, you have a whole like off. You know what I mean. I don't know.

Speaker 1:

Just my opinion on that show up when you're doing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, and the last time this happened, I thought, when you, when he fought like a much lesser fighter, yeah, he wasn't like. It didn't appear that he was like focused, like. But what do I know? You know, I'm just a fucking idiot I know he's been showing love.

Speaker 1:

He's been liking every comment I've been yes, yo, he likes yo, that's fine. Yeah, um, still my favorite, obviously I'm just, I'm being that's fire, still my favorite.

Speaker 2:

Obviously I'm being devil's advocate Because I know you got to know that Barboza's been calling him, calling him, calling him and he's coming ready. You know what I mean. I know he's not. We have our opinions on who's better, we know that. But I just hope you don't overlook a guy like that.

Speaker 1:

He better not I'm saying he better show up. And same thing for Bruce man If he show up as loose as he was dancing. He's not getting it. He's going to fuck that dude up. That's the case.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Just come in there, loose man, don't come in there tidying up, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1:

Come in there and have fun.

Speaker 2:

It's just scary to me. I don't know when you're at that any given Sunday, because the guys come get that Josh Taylor kind of to yeah oh yeah, we get that to it's over, but that to was focused steady in the can. You know, that's all. Sometimes the social media stuff scares me, man, like like Tyson Fury used to turn his phone off, you know, and just zero dark 30 or whatever.

Speaker 2:

This phone off a couple of times, yeah, but uh, you know, but, like I said, same thing could happen to Bruce Carrington. He keeps talking about Nick Ball, nick Ball, nick Ball, and listen, he's going to beat this guy, enrique, but I don't want him to overlook it either. Focus on the task at hand. People get a little carried away, but whatever, that's really all I got. Still next weekend we will yeah we got my Orion 2 Saturday, so we'll be back Sunday night that sound good.

Speaker 1:

I got nothing going on.

Speaker 2:

Finally I got a weekend with nothing going on. Man.

Speaker 1:

Too bad, it's like the first coming up.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, dude, I feel like, and you know what sucks is like. Hibernation season is almost over.

Speaker 1:

And like. This is when you're supposed to like, save money. I was just talking about brunch on Sunday. She's wild. This is when you're supposed to save money. I was just talking about brunch on Sunday. She's wild. All right, let's go.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm just kidding. Yeah, I got you this next check. All the bills are due. I got to do a house spring cleaning man. I just want to do this boxing shit all the time, but I can't.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so like and subscribe at that. You know what he said, so we can do this full time yeah if you like us.

Speaker 2:

Like us and as always, I close the show out. Dm me if you want free shit, free gear. I got some more free shit lying around. I'm going to put together some more hoodies too. I got some free hoodies lying around, not the ones you could purchase, those ones are way better, but I got some free hoodies lying around. Yeah, I don't know. Low energy today, sorry.

Speaker 1:

What else?

Speaker 2:

yeah, I don't know. Low energy today, sorry, what else? Nothing. Man, time to get out of here. Yeah, willie's tired, I'm. I'm drinking an energy drink and some whiskey, so I'm ready to go, but uh, all right. Uh, yeah, that's it. Please like, subscribe, follow all that good stuff. Uh well, let's put a little sparlay real quick I don't know what's going on. No For this weekend.

Speaker 1:

Why you didn't have that ready.

Speaker 2:

I do what's it called? On the Meyer, on the Meyer Ryan.

Speaker 1:

I don't even know who else is on there.

Speaker 2:

Well, I'm gonna go, bruce, I'm gonna do two KOs and Meyer, just to win straight up, cause that's gonna be close odds. So I'm gonna hit you with a spar and then we are really out of here. I just want to keep yapping, willie, and Willie's tired, damn it, hold on. So I'm going to do Brian Norman Jr. He's on there.

Speaker 1:

Mm-hmm. Oh yeah, I'm going to do him Norman Jr.

Speaker 2:

He's on there, mm-hmm. Oh yeah, I'm going to do him KOTKO.

Speaker 1:

Wow, I'm going to do Bruce Carrington KOTKO. He finally defended his belt.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, wbo World Waterweight Belt, but he's fighting this dude, that's I mean I don't, maybe I'm wrong Puerto Rican. So he's tough, tough, puerto Rican. One loss, why don't I know anything about this guy? Derek Quavis, what the fuck is going on with me? What is going on, whatever? That being said, yeah, so I'm doing here's the, here's a little spar lay that I'll put together. I'll post it out too. If you've made it this far, still listening, I'm gonna do brian norman, oh, no, no, what's going on here? No, oh, technical errors, sorry people. Brian norman jr ko tko. Bruce carrington ko tko and mckayla meyer decision straight up, straight up, to win, just to win. That's the spar lay three. Michaela Meyer decision Straight up, straight up to win, just to win. That's the Sparlay Three fight Sparlay.

Speaker 1:

Riding out.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. They're going to be close. It's going to be plus 100 or minus 100. One or the other it's got to be around there and hopefully people bet heavy on Sandy Ryan and that goes higher for higher odds. But hey, thanks for listening. If you made it this far, if you didn't make this far, go F yourself. That's all we got. We will be back next Sunday, and we got nothing going on this weekend besides that fight, so we will have much higher energy. I think there was another fight on this Saturday too, but whatever, that's all you're getting from us.

Speaker 2:

Peace Thank you guys Peace.
