It's time for the main event. It's the Spartan Podcast.
Speaker 2:Oh, it's a knockout, yo. Episode 56 of the Spartan Boxing Podcast. I have no energy today. Willie is full of energy. Oh my god, willie's matching the wallpaper right now Welcome to the World.
Speaker 1:Boxing Federation. What the?
Speaker 2:fuck, are you talking about?
Speaker 1:Yeah, because this shit is fake. Oh yeah, willie, fucking boxing boy.
Speaker 2:We clearly lost a lot of money.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we did, and fuck this boxing shit.
Speaker 2:It was a great day of fights though. Saturday, great, great day of fights. I have some gripes, some complaints, as usual. I'm sure Willie does too. Yeah, but I was in Florida so I watched the fights over there down south. Yeah, how was that? That was a great time. Saw my guy, Lorenzo Medina, and his brother. I couldn't even now, if you know. You know I get a little feisty at fights and I cheer very loud and say some stupid shit. I couldn't even do that because it was over. It was over Second round. I'm getting warmed up. Night-night Lorenzo hit him with a three-piece combo Fucking night-night. And his brother too, his brother. I think it was a first-round knockout.
Speaker 2:Crazy Good people, though I was hanging out with the family afterwards we were drinking pretty heavily, very heavily, yeah, lots of tequila, great people. The Southern hospitality was real. I did get a little scared on my way down there because I was like man, I hope this guy has tickets. And he did man of his word Lorenzo Med tickets, uh. And he did man of his word lorenzo medina. Sky's the limit. He has a big announcement coming up. Um, I think he's signing with a big promotion. I don't want to say too much. I don't know. But he, uh, it was awesome, it was good to see it sound like you know, but you don't want to yeah I don't know officially, uh, but so let me just get right into it.
Speaker 2:Um, it was a huge day of boxing for for everyone, uh, especially me. I'm like cool lorenzo's fighting at the hard rock, right, the giant killer's fighting at the hard rock. They have a sports bar. I'm just gonna watch the fights at the sports bar. Um, the the bivol, better bf card, great fights. Every, every fight on that card was amazing. I'm like I'll watch it at the sports bar, get drunk with my lady and I get to the sports bar. I'm ready, I sit. The sports book, not the sports bar.
Speaker 2:The hard rock casino sports it wasn't on every goddamn sport was on, but the undisputed heavy or light heavyweight championship, oh no it no way it was fucking crazy man, no way.
Speaker 2:So what did I do? I'm on my phone watching all these fights. I'm like, come on, dude, and this is my biggest complaint, turk Al-Ashiq, what are you doing? How is that fight right, at least the main fight. Okay, the undercard I get, but the main fight how is that not on in every fucking bar? This is what brings people in. You knew this fight was going to be amazing. Biffle better be F2 for all the belts. You knew it was going to be action-packed. There's no one that disputed that right.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:No, not in America.
Speaker 1:You didn't even know it was on. That's crazy.
Speaker 2:That's crazy that shit was not at the casino, unless you're like a boxing nerd or fan Like nope.
Speaker 1:It was nothing else on. Yeah, like the NCAA, that's a lot of. They had UFC on.
Speaker 2:They had UFC prelims on, they did yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, whatever man, that's what they get.
Speaker 2:That's what they get for starting to be like a.
Speaker 1:WWE. Where'd you watch it? Where'd you watch it? Where'd you watch it? I watched it. Oh, I fucking signed up to the zone. I'm like yo, look at me. I signed up and bought the shit, so it's cheap though.
Speaker 2:But he's putting like these fights together, which we can't Amazing fights as boxing fans.
Speaker 1:It was falling apart.
Speaker 2:It was falling apart. It was falling apart, it was falling apart.
Speaker 1:The car wasn't what the car was supposed to be People getting sick.
Speaker 2:Danny Dubois got unexplained illness, no one knows what or why, and the way Parker looked, I would be running sick too. I would be running sick too.
Speaker 1:Don't talk about my boy Dubois.
Speaker 2:He saw something back there.
Speaker 1:Dubois, I'm not running from Dubois. He saw something back there. Dubois could have known I'm not running from the smoke. I can't see that. I can't see that. Kid Austin now, kid Austin definitely ran from smoke.
Speaker 2:He ran from smoke and let's give it to Shakur. He called that, he called that out right away. How the fuck did he know that they know something in camp. And then they're like oh, he poisoned me. Like come on, dude, I lost respect for Kid Austin for that.
Speaker 1:Yeah he can't have a fight, no more it was a win-win for him.
Speaker 2:He would have got experience Just retire.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that was. I don't even want to see him play, no more. That was crazy. He can't talk, his dad can't talk. Shut up.
Speaker 2:Lots can talk and we have lots to talk about. As usual, we always get into it slowly but surely. Again, I'm low energy. I flew in today Hungover. Still, this is some fucking shit. That was a great card and then we got a preview. We're just going to preview the one fight, the $80 pay-per-view To watch.
Speaker 1:That's how he does. He don't have to fight it Apparently, he fighting nobody.
Speaker 2:but this is about to be scary. It's not worth no $80. Hey it's going to be worth it. This card was worth $80.
Speaker 1:It's going to sell out the Barclays too. Everybody's showing love. Nah, I heard ticket sales aren't.
Speaker 2:You're going to see what they do. Is they go to? The hood and they give it to all the boxing gyms, right? No, fuck it.
Speaker 1:Guess what we still doing. Pay-per-view baby. None of y'all man Y'all wish Cool Pay-per-view baby.
Speaker 2:You're going to buy that shit too we watching this shit here, probably, but I'm going to buy it. I'm a fucking cuck to boxing. I'm a boxing cuck to boxing. I'm a boxing cuck. Great card, though this card should have been a pay-per-view. The Bivol better be F2. Great fights from the get-go. No, it shouldn't be no fucking pay-per-view. There was one, there was some, there was everything, there was some drama. Lil Turk Al-Sheik is falling into boxing's ways of problems, the problems with boxing.
Speaker 1:No, it's like history just never.
Speaker 2:It repeats itself. It always repeats itself.
Speaker 1:It never goes away and it's like it's in plain sight. Now you know we got social media. Everybody got a camera phone.
Speaker 2:You can't get away. You can't get away, and I mean, it is what it is. Do you got that clip for the people or not? I, I don't have. I could play. If we chop it up, I'll play. They all saw it though, yeah. So basically, what we're talking about if you didn't see it, and you should go look it up was uh, what's his face? Shariz, yo like verse um. What's his name? Uh?
Speaker 2:the dominican guy uh, dames, carlos adames. So Shiraz versus Carlos Dames for a belt, and it was a draw. I mean, I'm not going to argue, I think Dames won actually. Yo, yes, he did, he was working. I was logging in at the fucking sportsbook when this fight was on. I text you like yo. Nah, this is crazy. He was controlling the action, working off his jab, attacking the body, chopping that tree, and and shiraz is what he is. You know, he's a little overhyped, a little overhyped.
Speaker 1:He's tall and he like he got attributes but he's not there one twos one, twos, one, twos one twos, one twos, one twos um, and adames did his thing.
Speaker 2:Man, he did his thing and then, and it was at the 10th or 9th round, so turk al-ashik, and now, before we, talk.
Speaker 1:It was that late when that happened.
Speaker 2:I think so. Yeah, I think don't quote me on that, I think it was. It was whatever. He did it, though, but it's on camera and and not only that, like we the power that man has in that country, so that the pressure that applied to, to everybody watching and stuff I don't and judging. So basically, what he did was he looked at the scorecards. He went to each judging table score cards, looked at the scorecards, then went to shiraz's corner and was like, yeah, he's down by two. He's that you're down by two. You need to go now. You need to go now, which is cheating, because the other guy didn't have that benefit. So it's cheating. And yeah, I mean, did that affect the fight? No, dames still was winning, still won those rounds. I think he still won. But that pressure from the most powerful man in the arena and, I'm sure, the judges felt the pressure, bro, and that just causes a bias.
Speaker 1:No matter what it causes a bias. You know he got the money. This is pressure, bro, and that just causes a bias, no matter what it causes a bias. You know he got the money. This is crazy, bro. This is the WWE right now. This is crazy.
Speaker 2:And like Shiraz is his guy. It's not like you know, that's his guy. That's his guy bro, and like it's sad to see because this is everything that he said he wasn't gonna do, like this is everything he's like I'm gonna make boxing great again.
Speaker 1:We're gonna get a fourth judge that's not that I don't like it, bro. This is. This is coming up freaking circus, but he is he is putting these fights together, so we yeah, but now like all right, now if I'm somebody like like tank, right would not go yeah.
Speaker 2:yeah, you're right, I would not go over there. He was right, he said yo, unless you get a knockout. Yeah, unless you go over there and fight. Yeah, you're right, I would not go over there. He was right, he said yo, unless you get a knockout.
Speaker 1:Yeah, unless you go over there and you get a knockout, you're not going to win.
Speaker 2:He's kind of right on that.
Speaker 1:If you fight one of his guys too like Shakur now, this is his first. Like Bud, I don't feel bad for Canelo.
Speaker 2:Canelo's going to lose Bud that was going to lose.
Speaker 1:But it's his man. He loves Bud.
Speaker 2:That's his favorite fighter, let's talk about that, though. That's his favorite fighter, did you see Bud? And TO squash the beef.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, it looked kind of weird because it looked like Bud was like bullying him, yeah, like, but I don't know, it felt kind of weird and not genuine. But Bud how we've seen, but like in real life, how he is, yeah, it had to be like Some real shit.
Speaker 2:He has an aura about him Like yeah, yeah, it's some real shit. He probably said some real shit and like TO had no leg to stand on, he was being stupid. So it's like, but like.
Speaker 1:And then wearing a do-rag, your man's looking nuts Again, dude.
Speaker 2:He did that. He's now too. He's doing podcast interviews not with us now. He trying to look like a new yorker, but like the do-rag is weird. I don't even know, was that even a real do-rag?
Speaker 1:yeah, yeah, it was like some people tired like that. Yeah, yeah, but that's like he learned that. He probably learned that from dean the greatest.
Speaker 2:Some like youtuber whatever though he he does, promote him. He got a lot of promo out all that bullshit he did.
Speaker 1:And yeah, and for some reason, he, I, I don't want to ask him to spar and shit.
Speaker 2:Hopefully spar and shit I'm sure he'll do that like and gruff, but they know?
Speaker 1:we? I feel like we know. A lot of people know. Nah, I don't think like the whole public know, but like people that talk to him like know that he's not fucking racist yeah, it was clearly stupidity and promo, which isn't right, and they. They all saying that you're, and they all saying that shit Cole. They all saying that shit. Like yo, y'all been in the ring, Y'all been around this guy, and like he's not racist so why the fuck is he doing this dumb shit?
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, man's is just weird for that. No, all fighters are pretty weird. Yeah, everybody. The whole boxing shit is a.
Speaker 2:This shit is entertainment bro, this shit is a.
Speaker 1:WWE. I'm going to keep on saying this shit. This shit is getting wild, all right.
Speaker 2:Let's talk about the fights themselves, though we're going to touch on the Shiraz Adamez thing again. Yeah, did you see that?
Speaker 1:Yo, you wasn't able to see it right.
Speaker 2:I saw pieces because I was logging in. That's when I got to the casino.
Speaker 1:Working that young man. Yeah, yeah, yeah he was working him. Doing everything you're supposed to do. Yeah, he was working him and I seen that shit.
Speaker 2:I'm like this is going to be a long but Shiraz about the fighter itself. Forget about that, though. Let's just talk about the way they hyped him up. The promoters did their thing with him, because they almost had me fooled.
Speaker 1:They talked this guy up, yeah yeah, he was about to be nice. I thought he was like Fandora and I've seen him fight when he fought.
Speaker 2:What's his name? That Austin dude, I forget, but like yo he's, I've seen him and he was. He fought like Fandora, like you said. Yeah, like one-twos coming down tall lanky dude. Tall lanky dude, but compacting away with his punches.
Speaker 1:Yeah, no way near. I didn't see no combinations.
Speaker 2:Yeah, one-two, one-two, one-two.
Speaker 1:He doesn't work off his jab enough and gets in the inside and throwing uppercuts. And the dames is tough, the dames is tough, yeah, that's.
Speaker 2:You know who was calling out him too. Who? Well, since we're on this, just now Chirac, uh-uh Jah. Just now Jirai, uh-uh Jirai. Tucker, what's talking? Calling who out? Dames, dames is coming at him. Oh, yeah, okay, the Bronco, whatever the fuck his nickname is.
Speaker 1:Bronco yeah.
Speaker 2:But he was coming. He just called him out. I was like I wasn't impressed and that'd be a cool fight.
Speaker 1:Everyone, though I think is trying to, he's not going to sit there like that.
Speaker 2:Nah, nah. The style of Dames could come, you know, put the pressure. I'm down for that. I'm down to see that.
Speaker 1:I'm down to see that. Hell, yeah, yeah, I'm down to see that. Oh, I didn't even know that one that was recent.
Speaker 2:I just saw him post it. That's fire.
Speaker 1:I was actually going to hit him up, see if he wanted to come on, dude before and the other dude um, yeah, he's not even, but coley, he was like before, before no um no, it's like a shiraz versus dames.
Speaker 2:It's like he's smith, it's a it's a, it's a he.
Speaker 1:No, he was like um, he's um the one of the saudi dudes. He's one of them, dudes man.
Speaker 2:I don't know, I think I missed that one.
Speaker 1:He's like 6-0. He's like he just started fighting and he fought like a Brazilian guy like 2-20.
Speaker 2:I guess I missed that one too.
Speaker 1:He's like 6-20. Couldn't get him out of there, did a whole fucking six rounds or some shit like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And he's backed up by the saadi niggas. Yeah, yep, yep, they he's. I don't know what the name is, but you could tell, like yo, they trying to push these fighters and this guy, oh, oh, zayed al-amunaf.
Speaker 2:Those are two fights. I didn't see the zayed al-amunaf and he fought, and muhammad muhammad. Okay, I didn't see that, yeah he's back by them.
Speaker 1:They was hyping him up like he's something he he got. He fighting a 6 and 20 guy and couldn't pack him up. He did a whole six round with see, bro, they did because they do was a sparring partner. You should see you, did you watch? Yo, I didn't see the under undercard I was texting my cousin like yo, what's going on right now? He's really fighting a a sparring partner, like a real sparring partner, like this guy did so.
Speaker 2:Speaking of that, what do you think of shakur stevenson and his sparring partner?
Speaker 1:oh yeah, but yeah, no, this is oh. This is why I don't like it. How the hell, how the hell padley was sitting there walking around at his weight, like he's walking around. He's electrician at least 140 145 because how the fuck did he get at a week, yeah, and made 135. So that means he was walking around at 140, 145 like you. You lose the 10 back to 10 pounds. You can lose 10 pounds props to him, though, man.
Speaker 2:He hopped on a plane to take that fight and he got to him and then he was gassed by like fourth round he was done and you know what, props to shakur too, for giving him his props like for doing that, because he got shakur his fight. Shakur was actually beat. I gained respect for shakur out of this, no so he is who he is, right, right. But he's like now admitting it, like, yeah, I hit and don't get hit. Fuck you, fight me, fight me. You know what I mean. Like I like this new.
Speaker 1:No, I love the fact that he did what he had to do, right. Yeah, I thought the dude was going to go the distance just because Shakur hurt hands and he ended up, and that's what really helped him. His punches are very precise.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's fucking. He don't get touched like that. You heard what Pedley said. He's like oh, the face was fine, but he was really attacking my body. I wasn't really in shape.
Speaker 1:Yeah, exactly that's what I mean. That's the way the body work was the main part, because his punches to the face Was not hurting the guy.
Speaker 2:I was like yo, he was getting hurt, I like though he's saying, yeah, I hit and don't get hit, fuck it, nobody could beat me. He's like I kind of like it's not fun to watch. We don't enjoy watching that. Yeah, he did what he had to do, but I don't like.
Speaker 1:I don't like how he's like Yo, I'm the best fighter ever. He, the Christian that just had no training.
Speaker 2:And you know what. You know what, though? He would have done that same shit To Kid Austin. He went nine rounds, though.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I mean. So the Kid Austin fight Would have went 12 Maybe.
Speaker 2:Yeah, probably, but still, I mean he's, he wins, he wins. He wins when you, when you're scoring points In boxing, he fucking wins.
Speaker 1:Is it fun, I like, I like that he just he really punched him around yeah, and it's like I like to see that, yeah, he was. I want to see him. He was so confident in the ring like you got. We need somebody in there that's not going to make him uncomfortable, like he was so confident like, um, uh, delisanto's like when, yeah, yeah, he's like he's scared of the power, so he's like uh so you know, his hand was real fucked up then too, though, oh yeah, yeah, he's scared of the power, so he's like uh, so you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 1:His hand was real fucked up then too, though. Oh yeah, yeah, them hand issues don't like you know what. They don't heal Because you got to use your hand.
Speaker 2:He's going to be retired soon yeah, but he needs one.
Speaker 1:He needs like a legacy fight.
Speaker 2:He needs like Olmechenko say what you want about that fight. Right, ryan Garcia, we know what happened there, but someone else that needs like a legacy fight too. Yeah, travata Tank needs like a, so why don't we get Shakur Tank?
Speaker 1:Yeah, I wish, I hope so. Shut him up. Yeah, let's get there. Shut him up, tank Yo shut him up, but we'll preview Tank.
Speaker 2:Come back in a little later. We got to talk about my guy also on this card. This card was great. It was entertaining as fuck besides trick or, but it was entertaining as fuck. This card, big bang zang. He fucked up everyone's parlay, oh my god. But legit is legit and I know you're gonna, you're gonna hear that at time and time again I like him, I like, I like for a heavyweight. He puts combos together. This was like that last fight when he beat that big mountain of a man like I didn't really care, this was a I like him. After this one, this was a defining fight for him and yo, he got knocked down. Zhang Got back up. I texted Willie. I said yo, but I don't know, man, zhang needs a knockdown he could get. He said that Knocks him down. I went crazy. I was in my sister's backyard.
Speaker 1:I was like, fuck, I was in the same shit.
Speaker 2:But what Ajit showed me is he could bounce back because he fucking that wasn't like a flash knockdown. He got knocked down. You know what?
Speaker 1:it is. I know, you know what it is Zayn fucking. He did it again. He did it again. I think that was Parker when I was talking about right before we got tired.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he got tired. This one, this one, he let him, he let him, he let him rock again. This was a little different to me, because Ajit's plan from the second round on was I'm, I'm attacking that body and dude you see how red his body was in the second round.
Speaker 1:So Zhang.
Speaker 2:Never in the ring to me, he never looked like 40 plus. You know what I mean. The minute Ajit started attacking that body I look, I go wow, he looks like an old man now. Like it hit. He aged after those body shots by a jit like that and zhang's my guy.
Speaker 1:I'm a big zhang man. Whoever told him, just go at him and his body was smart as hell because the first round did not work. No, no, no, the first round. He said we're gonna move around, yeah, yeah, okay, now I'm stepping right to him.
Speaker 2:Don't care what he throws it's gonna he's gonna be a problem for people he's gonna be, especially if he go into the body and he showed he could bounce back from a knockdown. He's gonna be a real real, you can stick to a game plan this is the body was the main part of the whole card.
Speaker 1:Literally they say the whole card, if some, if people could go to the body they was gonna win.
Speaker 2:You're right. You're right, the whole card. But like I've never seen someone age like that after a body shot. It was like it was like he was whole and then all of a sudden, zayn, he went down bro he looked 40 something. He looked 40 and that belly down.
Speaker 1:Once he didn't get up that belly was red he looked like he had once and then get up right uh, twice I think.
Speaker 2:I think Like sort of the ref, like stopped it for some reason.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that was weird, yeah, he was like falling down. I was like Zayn is back by the Saturdays. Yo, zayn just got a free call. Yeah, that was weird A free break.
Speaker 2:But now, yeah that finally he just kept attacking the body, Attacking the body down somebody again. I know I just said it like two or three times, but I'm gonna say two or three more times. I never saw someone age like that from body shots like yeah, he literally looked like an old man.
Speaker 1:Then I'm like, holy shit, what happened you? You like we forget. Well, I definitely forgot how old he was.
Speaker 2:Yeah, even when they said it even when he gets tired, though when he gets tired he doesn't look like, but when he started ripping you, you just saw his face.
Speaker 1:When they even said it to me on a TV screen, I'm like damn, he's 40-something. Like what His face too.
Speaker 2:He don't look old. In real life he don't look old. It was like a filter. It was like an Instagram filter. He's like a A jit Ba-ba-ba-body. I look Damn yeah, you're being weird now. Nah yo, zayn, yo Zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn.
Speaker 1:Zayn Zayn.
Speaker 2:Zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn, zayn Zayn.
Speaker 1:Zayn, this is another thing. This is another thing because this is what I wanted to say. I just remembered, with this Saudi shit, bro, and this Riyadh season and Turkish paying all these people Turk, Turk, Not the Turkish, but Turk.
Speaker 2:Turk, whatever Al-Ashiq, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Yo, everybody is getting paid, right, yeah, so a lot of these motherfuckers come in here untrained.
Speaker 2:You ever play Undisputed.
Speaker 1:They come in here untrained and ready to get a check A lot of them, I'm like yo. This is crazy.
Speaker 2:That brings us to our next heavyweight, who also showed balls Martin Bacoli.
Speaker 1:That wasn't his fault.
Speaker 2:but I got a lot of texts from boxing fans People that watch boxing kind of religiously like us and they were so shocked and I'm like it was hard for me. I'm like, what are you shocked about? Joseph Parker had a full camp. This guy got. He flew in Bacoli, got in there at 2 am, dude, he still had swamp ass from the plane, his booty was still wet from the sweat on the plane. And when you're 300 something pounds on a plane, dude, think of how stiff you are. It takes like two or three days to really get that.
Speaker 1:You think he said the jet 2am? Dude, you think he said the jet? No, I think he was showing videos of him walking through the airport. Oh man, he said he flew spirit, he flew spirit, he flew spirit to the fight, I think so man, oh man, dude 2 am and jet lag.
Speaker 2:That's crazy.
Speaker 1:He flew spirit? Let me find out, bro.
Speaker 2:And props to him. He got paid handsomely. But damn Damn Joseph Parker man. He came in here like Joseph Parker is on a mission. He came in here like Joseph Parker is on a mission. He's on a mission, he wants belts.
Speaker 1:He wants belts and the fact that he took on. He's the boogeyman.
Speaker 2:I guess, but to me not really.
Speaker 1:He was so-called a boogeyman.
Speaker 2:He's a dangerous fighter, but dude, Joseph Parker trained his ass off for a fight versus dubois, whose whose output is crazy, right for the heavyweights, so he's in peak cardio. People were shocked. I'm like the guy got off the plane a few hours ago, like what are you shocked about? This is heavyweight, different tier boxing, like and and the grays. When you look at the replay of the shot that knocked him down, the shot before that but coley ate and shook it off, did you look at the replay of the shot that knocked him down? The shot before that, bacoli ate and shook it off, did you see that that was a clean shot by Parker? I thought that was going to put him out, but then the grazed one when he saw that that hit him right above the temple, dude, and there's nothing you could do that 315 pounds just folded.
Speaker 1:He lost his leg. He didn't even like.
Speaker 2:He kind of knew. He knew it too, though I think he could have recovered and at least wrapped up. He was like nah, I'm out of here, I'm gonna get my money.
Speaker 1:He'll be back though Heavyweight.
Speaker 2:Heavyweights are so fun, man Yo, they are lit so fun.
Speaker 1:They are lit, bro. One punch can change the whole game, the whole game, the whole game plan. We saw a whole bunch of upsets. Everybody I thought Cody was gonna come in and get heavy and then fuck. Nah.
Speaker 2:Yo, he did. He could still he's natural heavy hands.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he's just so flat it looked like he was About to catch him too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:He was catching him With an uppercut. It looked like he rocked. He had Dubois gloves on.
Speaker 2:You saw that DDD. He had Danny Dubois Gloves on. That's crazy. He had nothing Like this. He literally had swamp ass. He got off the plane.
Speaker 1:He had old shorts on. Let's just look.
Speaker 2:Tight in there. Still had like.
Speaker 1:Fucking this just barely fit.
Speaker 2:Still had the plain peanuts In his pocket. Swamp ass. Whatever man and that just shows he's, even with the loss, like you can't take anything away from him. He he went there, got his bag and took a knockout. It is what it is. That's all he's. He's. He's chilling, bro. The fight before that though calum smith versus uh joshua botsy that was a great fight, dude, that was.
Speaker 1:That was a great props to both them. Calum, did you watch it?
Speaker 2:yeah, yeah, I watched that full one calum's. Calum smith turned back the clock, bro, bro turned back the clock. Yeah, he boxed his ass off and Bazzi, dude, he takes a hit. Yo, I'm like he's going to go down. There's no way. There's no way. And he is just lasting. He's tough. He learned from this fight. They both learned, I think, from this Macaulay's dad.
Speaker 1:Is he Macaulay's dad?
Speaker 2:I don't know he fights out of the UK, oh Ghana.
Speaker 2:He's born in Ghana, accra, ghana. Yo, I've been to Ghana. Yo, they treat me like I was a king. That shit was awesome. I went on a date there too. Dead ass this chick took I went on a date. She had fucking, yeah, ghana people when we were leaving, yeah, they did Stupid when we left. When I left, though, she's like okay, can you buy me a laptop so we can communicate I'm like I gotta go, I gotta get out of here. You don't fucking laptop.
Speaker 1:I gotta get you boy, Can we communicate? Buy me a laptop. That shit was funny.
Speaker 2:How much that shit was funny. How much of that I was there, I don't know. I was there for like a month on some military shit. But ghana was awesome. No, for real, shout out to that country. They really are like they. I've been to a lot of countries in africa for real, probably like 20. They, that was like sick. They treated me like a legit king. I was like this is fucking awesome. But uh, yeah, now I'm oh yeah, I'm just here again. But I didn't get a. I got my own laptop, but, yeah, back to that fight. Yo, did you see his fit? Kalem Smith's fit? Oh yeah, jordan. Jordan got to make boxing boots, bro, like they got to make their own. They got to bring back the Roy Jones Jr Freaking Andre Ward's shoes.
Speaker 1:Cause, like this shoe surgeon, coach Jerry got a pair. Oh, the old school ones.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
Speaker 1:He only had one shoe, though. Yo, that'd be fire if Jada could fit those yeah. That would be fire Nice If he had found both, I guess, coach.
Speaker 2:Jerry's nasty feet in there, man. But yo, jordan needs to make boots again because the shoe surgeon guy keeps making these Jordan ones. They look hot, but he keeps making them, he keeps making them. You don't get sued for that. Actually, yo, I don't know, but Lorenzo's brother, he had like a pair on too, that he got done up. It looked hot.
Speaker 1:Damn, I wish I went. Yeah, dude, that was fun.
Speaker 2:Oh my God. And then we went to the club after, or whatever, you went to the club too.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's why I'm an idiot.
Speaker 2:Lorenzo left, you said yeah, he had something going on with his family so he had to go to Philly. He had to fly to Philly, but his mom was out there, his whole family. Yeah, his, I'll tell you, I'll tell you, but his, the whole team was out there, so it was cool. They were all partying with us. It was awesome. That was fine, oh yo, you know there was a lot of Jarrell Miller was there. I didn't see him. I saw he posted a picture of his dude was sitting right by me. Who else?
Speaker 1:He probably seen you. He's probably like yo yeah.
Speaker 2:I swear I'm like yo and I forgot he lives out there. But yo the Hard Rock. The event itself. You know, smaller card, but real fun, real fucking fun. Who was the main?
Speaker 1:fight on there.
Speaker 2:I don't know. We went to a club, but I was just there for Lorenzo and the Medina family.
Speaker 1:After that, y'all left.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but it was fun, man, it was fun. And you know how I get with the tequila going. There's a chick from the bronx fighting um, maureen, maureen o'shea. That was cool to see. You know I was going crazy, uh. But yeah, good, good night, great day of boxing. Just why was it not on all the mainstream outlets? Like I get to zone, but espn had fighters on there too. Like well, top rank, like it shouldn't be, they're fucking up with that. They are really fucking up with that. Unless you threw a fight party for yourself, maybe they're just cheap at the casinos, but another fight that we have to talk about, my guy, virgil Ortiz Jr.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, I forgot about that fight.
Speaker 2:Versus Israel, the always tough Israel Madrimov. After the first four or five rounds of this fight I'm like come on, ortiz, catch this dude please. I hope this dude doesn't fight, catch me if you can. And then what does he do? Starts cutting the ring off, attacking that body. Bro, did you see the clip where he pawed the glove down? So Madrimov went up to cover his head and he fucking ripped the body. It was it.
Speaker 2:Shakur actually feels like I'm not gonna lie, this was awesome. Like that's some like iq shit. Yeah, now virgil ortiz jr is calling out for a belt that that division is pretty stacked, 154. Yeah, I'm just glad he's like making the weight at, uh, super welter. Um, listen, listen, he's kind of like a high-risk, low-reward, still Virgil Ortiz Jr. But there is a lot of names in there that have belts that he could. He could fight. I mean he wants the Terrence Crawford fight. I'm sure Sebastian Fundora would be a fun fucking fight. Him versus Sebastian Fundora, versus Ortiz versus Sebastian Fundora. Fundora is not going to run. That is a fun, fun fight. Ortiz is not going to run. No, the way he comes, the pressure he applies, man, he's skilled too, and the ripping shots. Like Madrimov is tough too. He was getting ripped up to the body standing.
Speaker 1:I thought he was going to end up winning, but he couldn't run for that long.
Speaker 2:There's Bakrim Mutsavilov I always say his name wrong, but Bakrim is another tough, tough Eastern European. That's what they're saying. They're actually saying that Virgil Ortiz is ducking him. I don't know. Xander Zayas, that's another guy. They had like some back and forth beef. I think Virgil Ortiz Jr, he don't want no part two. Nah, I don't think so, but Zayas is calling him out.
Speaker 1:Zayas said like yo, you ducked.
Speaker 2:You took Madrimov, if they were to fall in the garden. Tim Zhu, tim Zhu there's a lot of names that For Set up for great, great fights Shit, I'll. I'll watch Bujacek again too. So I heard Bujacek.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'll watch him again. Um, shout out to, uh, mario Lopez and Steve Kim, though they had like a fight Party for their little Little, fight party for their little little. Their big actual good podcast, not like ours, but they um, booyah, check was there. That was cool. That's like my goal, though, to do fight parties like that, like at a bar somewhere. Yeah, fighters, yeah, fight it. Whoever fighters come, I got yo, I'm gonna move to florida too. That was hollywood florida. Man was cool as shit. You like florida, I like florida. The weather is not like. They were like. Oh, it's a little chilly when we land 70 degrees. Yeah, I'm like it was snowing while I'm waiting for the train out here. Yeah, I don't know, chilly.
Speaker 1:I took my hoodie off, man. That shit stayed off. Waste management at Florida. Let me know, man.
Speaker 2:Yeah, man, I got to get in my bank account until I get paid, all my bills are due. Buy some merch, buy some merch, that's it. What else is on that card, though? I'm missing something. The main card oh shit, yeah, the main event. That's how good the card was, though. See the main card Dimitri Bivol, the new and the new, undisputed light heavyweight champion of the world. What'd you think about that fight, willie? Did you think the scoring was right? Hell, no, no, you thought BF did it. Huh, you thought it was wrong.
Speaker 1:I mean, you could have gave it to either way. Either way you could have gave it to him, but you know what a key factor.
Speaker 2:I feel like they both did better than last fight, but one guy did something a little more better, and that was Bivel. So he's changed up. Where, in those spots, the last fight, where he would just shell up and not throw, he came throwing, so he was more active. A couple of rounds, he didn't do shit, yeah, in the middle. But then when he saw that happening and opened up again, opened up again, doing just enough to catch the eye.
Speaker 1:I don't like this. The 116 to 112. That was crazy. Yeah, it's a little much. I don't understand how the fuck they scored this shit. I don't know what was conquered by it.
Speaker 2:I think the right man won. Though I think the right man won. Bivel did enough, in my opinion.
Speaker 1:I feel like they both was touching arms and gloves. Yeah.
Speaker 2:But you could say that the last time too, you could say that the last time, the only thing this arc to keep on forgetting to do.
Speaker 1:Bro, body, the body bro.
Speaker 2:He tried. He went to the body A little more.
Speaker 1:First one, two, the first couple of rounds he stopped and then he was trying to go back to that body.
Speaker 2:I'm like yo, you got to go to the body until he's through. Slow the hell down, bro. They're both kind of bad body punchers. They're not good at going to the body.
Speaker 1:But Bivou did way more to the body because he was throwing combinations with body so like one, two. So after one, two, like one, two. All right. So Arthur, one, two, three. One, two, one, two. This is going to sound crazy. One two, and then one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Speaker 2:That's Bibble One, two three, four, five, six, seven, eight so that's what I mean, and then move. That's what I mean One, two, three, four, five, my, opinion to win?
Speaker 1:um, I still don't. You can still make an argument. I guess I don't really see it was a really good. I don't know how they really judge it, but I feel like I feel like this was made for, uh, part three, and this is getting wwe shit man.
Speaker 2:So most likely we're gonna get, we're gonna get a three world boxing federation. I don't even want a three because I want benavidez versus one of them. Yeah, yeah, that's why he was there.
Speaker 1:I hope that's what we get. But then I seen a clip. I mean I seen the post-conference, post-press conference, yeah, and your man's bibble was talking about I might try Cruiserweight, I might try something else. Now you're not trying to give him a rematch. You know what's hard After he gave you a fucking rematch. You're not trying to give Arthur a rematch, and he gave you a fucking rematch. This is bullshit.
Speaker 2:What is cool about Beterbiev and Bivel is that promotion-wise right. They both suck promotion-wise. I don't know if it's the language barrier Beterbie have showed a little more personality this time, but the language barrier. It's hard to promote these two guys right, they're just pure fighters. But you don't need. Their fights are so good that that's how great they are. You just need them two to fight and it promotes itself.
Speaker 1:You don't really need to promote that. I just think that people love the better skilled person at this point. He did His output was way more than it was last fight In spots where you could have Everybody's like, oh he won twice. No, the fuck he did not.
Speaker 2:Arthur won the first one, the first one I backed. I don't say clearly you can still argue, you can still argue, but it's more on his side.
Speaker 1:You can argue this one but can argue, but it's more um on his side, hey I guess, argue this one, but it looked like it looked like it's more on bivouac's side I guess we could get a third, but man age is coming, he's oh yeah and he's like, and you know he's humble bro, arthur is fucking humble bro that's what I mean, though.
Speaker 2:Both of them are so polite and nice and, like he is, they just fight like they're just he's like maybe it's my time to come back.
Speaker 1:He didn't cry about no, nothing he like, uh, he's a promoter not saying something. No, like eddie earns. Like, oh, he won the first fight. And then the other guy took him out uh, 14, 14, his manager, whatever trainer like, oh, this judge need to be checked. No, the 116, 112 judge need to be checked. Yeah, because it was closer than that.
Speaker 2:I think, though, benavidez has a better shot at Bivel than Better B, just style-wise.
Speaker 1:Yeah Now, oh, the styles. I would love to see the names. It's the names for me, what it's the names. Better's the names for me, what it's the names? Better Vidas, better Vidas, better Vidas, the fucking poem it's like, because that's why I call him Arthur all the time.
Speaker 2:I say Arthur and David, because Better Vidas I think, though, better Vidas, because the way Better Vidas is a style where he walks up like that and like when better be of his throwing those punches and like hitting your arms and the styles there to be hit. I know his defense is better than it appears, benavidez, I just think Bivel, he, he, he gobbles him up. I think he gobbles Bivel up, man.
Speaker 1:You think who got Benavidez you?
Speaker 2:think who Benavidez? Oh yeah, I think Benavidez gobbles Bivel up. I know Bivel's going to get off some shots.
Speaker 1:Because David is like he's not a slugger, right, but it's like a boxer slugger it's like a boxer puncher.
Speaker 2:It's kind of like a style you can't really train for. And he's coming forward yeah, he's coming and Bivel boxes well off the back foot but what kind of, yeah, what kind of style is he?
Speaker 1:because it's more, um, uh, I would say like arthur is like more of a, just a puncher, so he's, he's more.
Speaker 2:There's something too we're missing, textbook we're missing and props to bivel for his chin, but he only has one knockout in his last, like ten fights. He's not known for his knockout ability. Like he's really slick and good.
Speaker 1:I don't feel like it's just like he beat Canelo. Now everybody riding a wave. He beat Canelo, he's so talented?
Speaker 2:No, he did. He beat the shit out of Canelo.
Speaker 1:He's so talented, which is that is good though that that is, good though that is, you can't say. But I'm just saying like they just like ride the Colts. So oh, he beat Canelo. Oh, canelo's like right here to everybody. He beat Canelo, so he's right here Now. So he's like yo. He beat Arthur the first time. He beat Arthur the second.
Speaker 2:He 2-0. No, bro, but those two names like not the first time, but now he has Canelo and Arthur. If you beat David, oh man, but now those two names are pretty, Say you beat them like come on, I love this for David, bro, I love this for David.
Speaker 1:He's finally going to get a fight, because they're not going to fucking.
Speaker 2:He moved up for that. He said I moved up for that, he's not going to.
Speaker 1:They're not going to, no, but your man's talking about Bivel, he's talking about going to Cruiserweight, so this is weird.
Speaker 2:Yeah, but he's not well-spoken. We don't know what the fuck he's saying.
Speaker 1:No, he knows what the fuck he's saying. He's like I don't want to fight Arthur again. No, he does.
Speaker 2:No, he don't Like. Oh, I need a break that was already thinking of it.
Speaker 1:I need a break, like December they do, but you know think about that toll those fights took.
Speaker 2:They're slugging.
Speaker 1:They are slugging, yeah, because he was getting beat the fuck up. Nah, dude, it was a good fight. Arthur was punching him. Arthur was like I'm going to go next week. Arthur, they are, arthur, go next year.
Speaker 2:Well, arthur needs to go next week because he's getting old man. Look at Zang.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Once someone starts touching that body, Arthur too, man, he don't like those body shots. He's chilling.
Speaker 1:He's not. He didn't get hurt, not one time. Biffle looked like he got hurt like a late round Nah.
Speaker 2:Yeah, hurt like like a late round. Nah, yeah, that one time, it was like that one time. Yeah, bring it up. This guy just this guy loves arthur man. I like him, he's cool, he's cool, they both.
Speaker 1:Again I'm saying, I mean he's not the the most skilled, but I feel like he his powers he just sit. He's punching him every time.
Speaker 2:I don't know I don't this, I don't know how they judge this shit.
Speaker 1:I'm so fucking confused. Is it WWE or the fucking boxing?
Speaker 2:Nah, these two fighters, though man, are the closest thing we have to those old school glory days of boxing wars.
Speaker 1:The trilogy is going to happen and I'm here for it, and it sucks that they're not American. Bro, eastern Europeans, take it over, bro. Yo, this shit is crazy. We need Americans to stop Benavidez, though. They need to start fighting.
Speaker 2:Benavidez, benavidez is coming.
Speaker 1:He's the only one that's not afraid to fight everybody. The style doesn't matter.
Speaker 2:Go 15 rounds Shit right, it was a great card. It was good to see Bivol won. He worked really hard and deservingly so you could tell how grateful he was too. And they both again, they both aren't dickheads, they both are just like oh yeah.
Speaker 1:That's the only reason why I don't know, but they don't need to.
Speaker 2:When the best fight the best, you don't need to talk. You don't need to talk. You know what I mean. You don't need to be TO saying all this racial shit. You don't need to be Terrence Crawford I'm not a bully. Put your arm around him, or even when Tank and Crawford were going at it, the insults. These two fight, they fight. These two fight each other and that's what you want to see, man, and we, as boxing fans, got to be grateful for that, and we're going to get a third one which I don't really need to see. I want Benavidez. I want to change now. I want Benavidez, yeah.
Speaker 1:But it's going to be at least a year. Please bring it here. Yeah, don't do it over there.
Speaker 2:And let's do it. Let's do it Like let poll right, but I need to call turk and be like yo. Like you need to promote it in the states. Like every bar should have showed this whole card, this whole card. You know what I mean. This whole card should have been on again in every fucking bar. Like I shouldn't have to search and dig to find a boxing fight. I should go to the local shitty sports bar. Like hey, put on this channel, I want to watch this fight.
Speaker 2:Boring ass people and like this was a card where it would bring people in, because every fight was good, like you know what I mean. So this would have brought people in.
Speaker 1:I didn't feel it. I didn't feel the atmosphere?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know it's getting a little better. I don't know. They must be bringing in some alcohol or something, because it is getting a little louder, are you sure?
Speaker 1:Yeah, but no probably he's a great fight.
Speaker 2:You know what it is Like these, these billionaires, right, they love status. So he just wants famous people, fame. You know what I mean. You need the hooligans. I've said this before. You need me getting almost beat up in the crowd, like you need the hooligans. You need to. You need fucking a guy cracking jokes, screaming obscenities, like you need that for that energy Shit. Even New York needed us, well, every fight. Well, nah, you know, because, like you, go to Cali, the Latino fan base, we ain't shit.
Speaker 1:We ain't shit. How was they in Florida?
Speaker 2:It was a small crowd, so it was me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it was just you there.
Speaker 2:Some guy, though I'm yelling because O'Shea was fighting and she's from the Bronx, like legit. So I'm like let's go Yankees, like fucking around, because she's a Yankee fan from the Bronx, of course. Right, some dude goes, let's go Dodgers. I'm like I guess you didn't get my joke. She's from the Bronx, you idiot. Sit your ass down. No, it was good. It was good. It was very small, small, like theater. It was a theater, you know. So it was. You hear everything, uh, but it was awesome. The entrances were awesome, like, oh yeah, yeah, the entrances were sick. I'd go, and then you're in the casino. So you just pop out and now you're drinking at the casino again. I didn't gamble because I was so drunk, luckily, but it don't matter, because I spent enough on drinks where, uh, but yeah, no, great, great, and I'm excited for Lorenzo, he's our guy and yeah, he's only 20. It's crazy.
Speaker 2:He's only 20 years old, bro, it's still fucking absurd. But yeah, that's really it. You want to get into a little Tank Davis quick show, quick fucking show.
Speaker 1:I don't know.
Speaker 2:I've been watching the him getting his nails done.
Speaker 1:Nah, fuck you.
Speaker 2:This weekend.
Speaker 1:He'd just be chilling, bro, he'd be chilling. This fight is really to put Roach on. I guess it's really to make Roach a bag.
Speaker 2:Or to another fight where I'm just going to give you the odds real quick. I'm going to give you the odds real quick.
Speaker 1:The odds of the boxing.
Speaker 2:On DraftKings, there are odds. Tank Davis is a minus 1600 favorite. It's time for Tank Davis to fight someone where he's not a minus 1600. And there's names out there.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean. Which one to be? Who would be the 150? Like?
Speaker 2:Tio or Shakur. I mean he's 140. Tio's at 140, so we got to scratch him. But Shakur, Shakur Tank is the biggest fight.
Speaker 1:The biggest fight. Yeah, I mean they're going to have to fight, but Tank's, I mean they're going to have to fight.
Speaker 2:But Tink's, this is his problem. And now I know you're starting to see it Like. Here we are again. He's fighting Lamont Roach and you just said it's to put him on right.
Speaker 1:I mean it's the same for all of them.
Speaker 2:I guess Not really.
Speaker 1:It's pretty much. The only one that fought for a belt was whatchamacallit what kishon I.
Speaker 2:I will say, though, he was supposed to fight loma, so tank was gonna fight loma, and that's, that's gonna, that's good maybe it was too late, I think. Yeah, but no, that fight I was loma. Loma backed out of that, whatever he's. I guess he's getting hurt, but he's being mad religious.
Speaker 1:Lately I noticed like super religious loma found jesus, you gotta call him man yeah, it's called boxing uh no wait, no, this is this is what I want to know how long they gonna let a llama hold that?
Speaker 2:yeah, that, that's true, though that's true, like that's what it is to, that like, give him a mandatory or something and they doing favors when, when is he gonna fight and defend the belt or something? Yeah, they got it we don't care about no unification right now.
Speaker 1:You gotta something, they gotta anything they strip, everyone else they they're not stripping him and we don't care about no unification right now.
Speaker 2:Something, anything, they strip everyone else. They're not stripping him. There's no even rumors of what.
Speaker 1:How long has it been since he fought?
Speaker 2:I'd have to look it up, but his last fight, I think, was when he got the belt versus Kambosis. That was last year. Yeah, it wasn't that long ago, but there's no rumors or anything like that was a whole year ago maybe. Uh, yeah, 5, 12, april, 12th. Yeah, so about a year now.
Speaker 2:Okay I mean, that's not bad huh, he fought once in 2023, once in 2024. Yeah, he's got a fight. Man he's, I know he's and tanks. Right when he said that he was like, oh you know, loma, then ducked me, he's got to fight. Man he's, I know he's and tank's. Right when he said that he was like, oh you know loma, then ducked me, he's just, I think he just can't get up for the fight now, like he's done a lot, he's done. You know what I mean. So he's honest, bro. Yeah, yeah, who tank?
Speaker 1:yeah, he'd be yeah I like tank.
Speaker 2:I don't want you, I just want, I like, I just want to watch a tank fight I want to see him fight.
Speaker 1:I want to watch tank fight somewhere. I'm I'm not mad at it, because everybody else does it.
Speaker 2:Well, because Loma literally backed out of this fight. Like Tank said, I'm not too mad. That fight was supposed to happen, but oh my God, minus 1,600, bro.
Speaker 1:But I feel like this guy is going to. I feel you seen Rose fight before they have a past. He's fucking skilled.
Speaker 2:Yeah, they have a past.
Speaker 1:He's skilled fucking skilled yeah, they have a skill, but I don't got pop power though. Yes, he got sneaky power, you guys, he's plus 900, but he got dropped by jamal. That's the scary part. You got jamal, harry put some respect on jamal harry, you know he live out here and shit, you know he got. He got people's out. Yo, that's my first ever interview. Damn Jamel Herring, but he's, I'm just saying he got dropped by Jamel.
Speaker 2:From.
Speaker 1:Corum. Imagine if he or no Longwood, Longwood Imagine if he get. Imagine if Tank hit him.
Speaker 2:You know where Lamont Roach's best way to win is, everybody's way to win versus Tank. Tank's going to come. He's not going to throw a lot in the beginning. He's going to apply pressure, apply pressure, and then he's going to download the data, kind of like Loma used to do.
Speaker 1:He does, yeah, and then he's going to hit you with one shot.
Speaker 2:And now, if you could like Frank Martin, remember the uppercut? Was it uppercut? Yeah, I think it was uppercut, like it's going to be something. Yeah, he's going to hit you with something. That uppercut was crazy, but the same thing Frank was doing. Decent, he's a client, but then he got.
Speaker 1:You know, I feel like we didn't even see. That's why he need to fight. He need to fight Shakur, so we can see how much is in his bag.
Speaker 2:Everybody says it Same thing with All the fighters that know him and shit mention like yo, this, yo, you didn't see the best tank yet, and he's he. And he does look in shape. He lost a lot of weight, so he's focused in shape. He's small as hell, bro, he's tiny.
Speaker 1:He's smaller than me, so I I could I understand why he's smaller than me, bro, when I went to the.
Speaker 2:He's like an inch for, like you know, a lot of these fighters that we forget because we see them on tv. They look, look big, but like in person, like, like, even to you, I'm like to is not big either, I'll take shit he's like I'm taking shit's bigger than you, man, so it's like it's like yo.
Speaker 1:This guy is small. I can see why he don't want to just keep on going like go up.
Speaker 2:Nah, yeah, 140 140 is pretty, pretty heavy for him. I see, 135 is perfect, I think, and that's what he is.
Speaker 1:And listen, I'm I want to see him versus Shakur, because Shakur is still calling him out. I think that's probably the next fight. I think so. If Loma's not going to fight, I think that's fine, you got to see that with PBC.
Speaker 1:But then if he fight, right, he? Well, first of all, tank, don't, he's not. He already know, he already see the bullshit. He said it himself. He's like Yo, you gonna throw, you gonna throw like 15 Ferraris at me or something. If you go over there, yeah, yeah, and you don't get the knockout On.
Speaker 2:Shakur, You're losing. I think Turk feels a little Disrespected too that all these fighting tanks Like I'm not going over there, Fuck you. Like he's a little. To was saying that at first. Now TO's over there. He's like oh yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's the way our boy Tim Tim Bradley, he was like oh Shakur, he was like yo, tank, I like you. Now I like you, I like you, tank, I like you. He's like. But if you go over there and kiss that ring and go back on it, back what you said, it's going to be some problems. Go back on it. Back what you said it's going to be some problems. I'm going to find you.
Speaker 2:Tim Bradley's tune is going to change soon, because now they're with the Zone and they own 13%.
Speaker 1:Now you got to kiss the ring. That's the worst. This is the worst part I don't like. Now I'm starting to see the problem with this shit. Yeah, I'm starting to see the problem. When he did that shit and they caught it on camera that he over here fucking with the cards and fucking with the judges, even with Tyson Fury.
Speaker 2:Tyson Fury, he like loves, like loved Tyson Fury. He wanted Tyson Fury to beat Usyk. He was. He was doing some Fugazi shit with that. I forget what exactly, but some weird behind the scenes shit.
Speaker 1:Listen, this is not good for this. Listen, this is not good for this.
Speaker 2:Coming to light is not good for boxing, because that's what he said he wasn't going to do. And now everybody's seeing it, they created another belt. There's another fucking.
Speaker 1:You seen that shit, the blue belt, the blue one, it looks cool. It says Undisputed it says Undisputed with what happened to the other one. With Bibu and them names on it.
Speaker 2:With Bibu and them names on it. But what happened to the other one, the black, undisputed belt? That's what I said.
Speaker 1:I said and that one looked like too much like UFC. Anyway, they should have got rid of it.
Speaker 2:Belts it looked like that's a job in itself to hold these fucking belts.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they had the ring magazine. They had that. That's the only belt to me.
Speaker 2:The ring magazine belt is like the man who beat the man, and that's what they did that for, so that's a great belt.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they done doing too much, bro. They brung it. I text you.
Speaker 2:I'm like yo I know I'm like I don't know what the fuck is that blue belt?
Speaker 1:I thought it was like you know how they have the Aztec warrior WBC belt when Mexicans fight each other? Yeah, that's the one. I didn't know which one that was either. Isaac Cruz was fighting for that shit, but what do you think?
Speaker 2:What do you think you think I might bet the over just for fun? Eight and a half rounds, it's minus 115. Oh, that's a good bet.
Speaker 1:I'm going to bet the over, because I think Roach knows what he has to do and knows what he has to stay away from. You know, tank didn't matter here like eighth and ninth round.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that's where you're going. I'm going Tank knockout too. I think they're both from Maryland. They know have a past. Apparently, lamont Roach is like yeah, when we were 12, I beat the shit out of him. But yeah, I'll fuck my bully up now I'll fuck him up. He used to fuck me up when I was 12.
Speaker 1:The first round, lamont going to show his talents and shit, but yo, this guy's pretty good and he's going to get knocked out.
Speaker 2:I think it's going to be boring and get a paycheck. I think it's going to be boring until Tank starts getting anxious and letting his hands go. I mean that's regular every now and then. Yeah, Lamont knows what he needs to do.
Speaker 1:He make people go blind. Yes, yes, he did Yo. That shit was crazy.
Speaker 2:Hector couldn't see, he's like yo, he's like.
Speaker 1:Ah, my eye.
Speaker 2:Imagine Tank Tio Like 135, I know, because 140 is a little heavy. So or they get a catch weight, Something Tio walk into something Nah. Tank might walk into something.
Speaker 1:Tio, you've never seen Tank on the floor. Nah, you see, tio. Yeah, because he's, yeah, because he's mentally crazy. Yeah, you're going to see TO touch the canvas. I like TO man.
Speaker 2:You've seen TO fight some.
Speaker 1:He fought some dogs. He shows up. He shows up in every fight. That's going to be a great fight.
Speaker 2:If that ever happens? Yeah, but no, I think so TO. Speaking of that, the Ryan Gar this is actually in the city we're going. It's the free fight. Apparently, allegedly they're doing a fight in Central Park or Times Square. They're doing a fight in Times Square, this Saudi stuff, and they say it's free. So it's going to be jam-packed for the Ryan Garcia fight. That's going to be insane. He's going to start crying out there what's his name ryan garcia verse.
Speaker 2:Uh, haney, no, um, the funny guy, roly, roly, yeah, and then teo, teo. Apparently rumor has it, tiafimo is going to be on the undercard in that fight versus either stevenson or um, what the fuck's his name? The dude, yeah, I mean richardson hitchens, not stevenson. My bad richard hitchens. Or fucking fucking the dude that. Just why are you being a undercard? The mandatory he's a bigger name. Yeah, but just because I'll fit him in there.
Speaker 1:Whatever, roley is a funny.
Speaker 2:Not the undercard, but the co-main event.
Speaker 1:Roley is a funny dude bro.
Speaker 2:Hey, I'm here for it, whatever.
Speaker 1:Did you see Roley interviews? He is freaking out a lot.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's also a little punchy.
Speaker 1:Yo, he is so funny. He's like the first. He was having a whole interview playing Fortnite.
Speaker 2:That is funny. Yo, he's a clown. I did like the lead up for Roley. Tank is probably one of my favorite. Yeah, because Tank was being a little zesty, as usual.
Speaker 1:And then Roley was just like what the hell are you?
Speaker 2:wearing Roley is funny as hell. He is funny man. But yeah, boxing is great. So we had great fights. There's more great fights down the pipe. I'm curious after this fight, no matter what happens, even if it goes the distance and Tank wins, whatever I'm curious to see what Tank does next. He says he's done with boxing. Nah, I'm curious to see what he does next. He needs one like what's his defining fight? Ryan Garcia, he needs like a. I want to see him unify, like go unify and then I want to see to do it.
Speaker 2:I don't care honestly, because you're a fan of his.
Speaker 1:But yeah, I mean he, he feels like the way he feel like he don't need to do no more. See like he's got his. He made it where he came from.
Speaker 2:He's been fighting all his life yeah, I mean that's fine, but he needs for fans, for fans, for us fans, please, please be.
Speaker 1:yo shut up, please be. Yo shut up Shakur. Yo take. Shut up Shakur. That's all I want. And the Shakur fans shut them up.
Speaker 2:Hey, I'm here for that too.
Speaker 1:I'm here for that. That's the only. That's the only one.
Speaker 2:Shakur's style though I don't. It's so he, really he, so he's so fucking good at making people miss.
Speaker 1:Yeah, like his style is. It's not fun. So what is so? That's why I'm trying to say what, what is he gonna? He's not gonna. That padley shit, that's not gonna happen with tank, he's gonna be. He's not gonna, he's gonna be timid, he's not gonna do that. So what, what? What chico are we gonna get? Are we gonna to get? Are we going to get the Shakur like De Los Santos is fucking running, probably. Are we going to get like jab jab?
Speaker 2:One thing we don't give Tank enough credit for is the way he drowns you out when he cuts off the ring.
Speaker 1:Yeah he slows you down.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and he like, just with his foot pressure, like he really like. Frank Martin's a good example of that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, frank Martin was fucking moving, he was doing good. And a good example of that fight Frank Morton was fucking moving, he was doing good. And then he was like I'm tired of fucking moving, I'm tired of moving, let me sit in the corner.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he was in the corner Like how the fuck I get out of here.
Speaker 1:Shit, yeah, it's a mental breakdown. It's a mental breakdown, but Shakur is so sharp it's going to be a freaking.
Speaker 2:Yeah, shakur's jab is really good too, man, really good jab.
Speaker 1:I'm interested to see what Haney does.
Speaker 2:Haney's coming back, apparently. I want to see what he does, though Yo Tanko fight Haney.
Speaker 1:You wanna? He already like Mentally fucked up For his loss. He went about the loss Wrong, yeah, way wrong. So that's really yeah, he went about the loss.
Speaker 2:wrong, yeah, way wrong.
Speaker 1:So that's really, who fucked him up? Yeah, he went about the loss wrong, and his dad too.
Speaker 2:At some point. His dad's cool as shit and his dad's pretty much really about it. But hey, neitz, you're a man now. Daddy wasn't there to take you to the.
Speaker 1:That's what they try to do, right, like kind of remove Bill a little bit. They try to remove Bill.
Speaker 2:He's still tweeting for him. That's good Stick up for your son.
Speaker 1:I don't see him in training videos and shit, no more. I don't know he was doing football training videos.
Speaker 2:He's still yapping away about sticking up, and that's fine, stick up for your son, I get it, but like at some point Haney's got to just stick up for himself, Nah, but I no.
Speaker 1:they real people, though.
Speaker 2:No, yeah, yeah. And I met his dad twice and his dad was awesome. Just loved talking boxing he was. Let me tell you it was cool, it was good to see, but, like man, yeah, I don't know.
