It's time for the main event. It's the Spar In Podcast. Oh, it's a knockout.
Speaker 2:Yo, what's going on? Welcome to episode 47 of the Spar In Boxing Podcast, Puma and Willie. Just so you all know we want to apologize for last episode. I had to take it down, I got canceled, Nah just kidding, I'm crying. I took it down because I fucked up the audio, but we were just spitting bars, as the cool kids say. Your boy, puma, was over here. Yeah, I was spitting bars.
Speaker 1:You were spitting bars. Who's texting? That's you, ain't it? No, that's you, man. Who's texting? That's you, ain't it? No, that's you, man. Oh, that's my laptop. Oh, I'm crying Just going through the laptop.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I was spitting some bars we did a little test run. Willie was shocked. I could rhyme bro. So if anyone wants to pop in and freestyle, battle me, let's get it cracking.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I would love to see that. Please call in. Call in. Just let me be drunk first. 1-800-spar-n.
Speaker 2:So we're a little happy. We're a little happy, this episode A little bit Plus. Yeah, I've been getting a lot of DMs too. Oh yeah, you just love pissing out money. I'm like, what are you talking about? I'm always like, oh, I was so close to winning that bet. Yeah, like the odds that we bet on right, it's always plus 1,000, or plus 500. Like it's not, those are hard to hit.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:And at the rate we hit them, I think we're doing all right. We're doing all right, man. I mean the other shit, the football, the baseball, but just boxing.
Speaker 1:Just boxing. I think we're doing okay. I think we know a little bit about boxing.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think so betting-wise at least. Oh, we had a good week and we hit a spar lay.
Speaker 1:I posted it shout out. We're gonna try and keep that going.
Speaker 2:Shout out to us we worked as a team this time, yeah, we did. Usually we go against each other exactly. Yeah, some of the shit this guy picks what?
Speaker 1:oh, I'm we like tie right now?
Speaker 2:yeah, kind of we might be even you know, the one time he owed me money he just forgot. He's like oh yeah, finally, like three weeks in, I'm like yeah.
Speaker 1:It's a black thing, man.
Speaker 2:I guess I wouldn't know.
Speaker 1:But no, he paid. I got you, though. No, he only pays up.
Speaker 2:It was funny. Today we are coming off of Keyshawn Davis versus Gustavo Limos, sort of that wasn't really much of a fight. Oh man, what was a fight for a short moment, abdullah Mason oh man, some stuff to talk about there. Ray Ford, moving on up, moving on up. The next night out of Philadelphia.
Speaker 1:Ray.
Speaker 2:Ford moving on up in weight. I'm a little I don't want to say disappointed. We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it. Then somebody I'm very high on and I'm gonna go off on a tangent about, and I'm sure you can guess who bam, like what jesse bam rodriguez is yo you put me on to him.
Speaker 2:He's fucking amazing, we'll get into it. He is like out of this world like it's it is. I'm talking like like up there with in a way now, in a way in him there's an argument to be made. I mean, in a way he's got, we'll get to it, we'll get to it, we'll get to it this guy slow down.
Speaker 1:This guy is like 20 something years old, let's get there.
Speaker 2:Let's get there when we get there. Willie Willie, that's how good he is. Then we got a big preview.
Speaker 1:Oh, well, no shit, what's his name?
Speaker 2:yeah, jerron Boots, ennis. Oh man, I forgot to write down my preview for him but it's all good.
Speaker 1:It's just like there was a lot of. This weekend was a lot of like fights that make people look mediocre.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and a lot of flawed individuals. Now that we see, yeah, little flaws here. They were always there, but it was like huh, and now it's official.
Speaker 1:It's starting to be like oh, anybody can get it. Anybody can lose it at any moment, that's right. There was a lot of that. Anybody can lose it at any moment, that's right. There was a lot of that. My boy Tank was like mediocre.
Speaker 2:They were looking mediocre. Tank, silly, tank. Yeah, lots to talk about, but we also have a preview. This is going to be a pretty long show, so stay with us. We are fueled by tequila. Just stay with us and listen to us. Tequila, just stay with us. And, and um, listen to us because we have a big fight coming friday what's friday?
Speaker 1:iron mike tyson, that's friday jake paul, yeah, friday night they did it on a friday. I know I'm working assholes.
Speaker 2:but I'm not so enthusiastic about that fight, although, although I do want to see it, the undercard is. The undercard is pretty feisty, so props to Jake Paul for that, and Mike Tyson Shushu's got a fight on his hands in that. Bruce Carrington got on the undercard. Then we have Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano too, which is monumental Wait.
Speaker 1:when did Shushu get on the card?
Speaker 2:Yeah, like three weeks ago. Hey, Mike, they just threw him a taxi driver.
Speaker 1:Like three weeks ago hey go, mike, they just threw him a taxi driver. Nah, no, actually this guy's pretty good. He only got one loss, but I don't know who he fought to.
Speaker 2:Ranking-wise. Ranking-wise, but I think it's a little inflated, because we'll talk about it when we get there. But there's another good fight on it Mario Barrios versus Abel Ramos. We're going to preview that. That's for a belt, in my opinion, overrated guys. We'll talk about that when we get there. But we are going to talk about Tyson and Paul too. We're going to get in-depth about Mike Tyson. You have to, you have to Do. You see his old ass? I didn't see him. Dude is, dude is If I look like that when I'm 60. What he's yoked, he's yoked. Yeah, let me see if I he's looking like. I don't know, I think he's on that Liver King's diet. Remember the Liver King guy? You ever see him? He went viral. Nope, oh, yeah, he's, he's yoked. Let me pull up the pictora. Is that how you say picture in Spanish? Pictora? No, I don't know.
Speaker 2:What do you know, bro Jesus?
Speaker 1:And I usually know Spanish. That's the crazy part. Yeah, it is. I think you just made it sound weird.
Speaker 2:I gotta find it real quick, because I sent a picture of it to my dad, I was like my dad writes back yo, he's five years younger than me. What the fuck?
Speaker 1:Look at this, bro yeah.
Speaker 2:Yo, he is looking ready. Jailhouse yoked, he is looking ready. He looks like he came to win.
Speaker 1:He's not coming to lose. This is not. This is when you're going to know if the Jake Paul shit be rigged.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think so, but it is kind of already. 14-ounce gloves, two-minute rounds We'll get there when we get there. Let's just stay on track. Let's talk about the fights that we just had, then we'll get into all the previews. Keyshawn Davis and all his family, he this, he that, karon Keyshawn they all fall out of the car.
Speaker 1:What were their names? Keyon.
Speaker 2:Keyon.
Speaker 1:Calvin, calvin and the sisters was singing, were they?
Speaker 2:Yeah, they was singing what?
Speaker 1:were they? Yeah, they can fucking sing.
Speaker 2:What were they? They like they was singing america.
Speaker 1:They sing the stars really banner. Hey, talented family.
Speaker 2:Yo, they can freaking sing that yo, this family and they kept it all in the family.
Speaker 1:Just everybody. Just you get a chance. You get a chance like oprah out here they was wow, wilding, wait, oprah sings.
Speaker 2:No, but just like. But she throws the gifts out, yeah. They all got a gift. Yeah, Y'all do you know where they're originally from or where their roots are anyway.
Speaker 1:Well, the Pops is from out here, man.
Speaker 2:Long Island, New York, baby Yo.
Speaker 1:My cousin was with him with the Pops at the fight. He went to see the youngest one and left.
Speaker 2:Here's a funny story I talked about on another episode a while ago. I was with Fossil at a fight TO fight, of course, and Keyshawn was on the way out, and this is when he was up and coming. Nobody, really. He wasn't that big yet, you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and he's still.
Speaker 2:I don't say he's up and coming, he's right there, but he wasn't as big as he is now. You have to really follow boxing to know who he was and I think Coach Red is his name from Terrence Crawford's team was with him. And I'm screaming. You know how I get at fights. I'm screaming. I'm screaming. Keyshawn, you better win. You win, new York, I know where you're from. I'm going nuts, going nuts, going nuts. And they both looked at me on the way out like how the fuck does this guy know that?
Speaker 1:How the fuck, does he know?
Speaker 2:that, but it was just funny. Whatever Keyshawn did his thing, lemos came in six pounds overweight, yeah, and at first, for a second I was like is he doing that on purpose or is?
Speaker 1:he just fat. I think it was.
Speaker 2:Nah, I think it became very apparent.
Speaker 1:He didn't want to win.
Speaker 2:Nah, he got him out of there quick.
Speaker 1:He even tried to survive.
Speaker 2:It was night-night, that's all she wrote. He came for the payday. I don't know if it was like did his team plan I guess I got to do some research on it, but did he plan to come in that Like, do a little Ron Garcia thing, come in overweight, try to get the knockout, Survive, at least trying to get the knockout.
Speaker 1:But when he realized he couldn't do nothing, he was looking slow. He was reaching.
Speaker 2:That guy was put there for Kishore to put out. He was set up for a knockout but he didn't help himself.
Speaker 1:He didn't help himself but you would think, betting-wise he came in overweight.
Speaker 2:He didn't look fat, though. No, he looked solid.
Speaker 1:So maybe it was planned, I don know. He looked as slow as hell, though, and he like Awkward punches and Trying to reach too much. Keyshawn's level is above. Yeah, freaking he.
Speaker 2:Keyshawn's getting better Props to Keyshawn, though, on a night where you're supposed, on those types of fights you're supposed to like, on those types of fights, you're supposed to do that. You're supposed to do hometown Virginia.
Speaker 1:You got your brothers there. His brothers said it all. The youngest one looking like he's going to be a good talent.
Speaker 2:He's just a tall guy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he just needed to put it together a little bit more and then attack the body. When you want to finish the guy, yeah.
Speaker 2:That was his first fight, right First pro fight.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yep, I saw that and it was nice man, there's so many.
Speaker 2:Damn Keyshawn Caron. Yeah, Keyon, Keyon, Keyon man.
Speaker 1:Keyon and Keyshawn. I'm going to fuck that up. Problems. Yeah, he's going to be a problem.
Speaker 2:That weight class is kind of he's tall, he's very tall.
Speaker 1:Very tall For that weight class.
Speaker 2:Yeah, 6'2". I think 6'3".
Speaker 1:Yeah, he's going to have that dude he was for was kind of tall too Did the other brother, win Calvin, put in work. Okay, I didn't see him in the main class.
Speaker 2:I was like what?
Speaker 1:I was like Calvin put in work, he almost stopped the dude man, I'm like I was surprised hey wins for the Keyshawns.
Speaker 2:They did what they're supposed to do.
Speaker 1:They did their thing, man. They put on for the city.
Speaker 2:You guys see, how high Willie is right now on Keyshawn yeah. I like Keyshawn yeah you like him a lot. He keep on calling my boy out. I know I was just going to say it played. I hate my life. Give me one second Ready.
Speaker 1:Ready Javante Weird Knock knock, knock knock. Listen what.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that fight's not realistic right now. You know who's still throwing a monkey wrench every time I look at it. Where in the world is Lomachenko? Are you fighting? Are you retired? People want to beat your. Right now he's in the legend status.
Speaker 1:You know what I?
Speaker 2:mean Both of them? Who?
Speaker 1:Both of the Ukrainians, where the fuck are they. What's his face? Rare chicks. Whatever his, name is. So I think that's going to be the fight I was going to get there, yeah, but why are both of them just raiders and they're having a fight for the rest of the year?
Speaker 2:I mean, Loma's thing was like he had a fight lined up and then bailed out. That's why it's like with Tank that was going to happen. And then he said, nah, I want to retire, but not retire.
Speaker 1:But why are they both holding the belts?
Speaker 2:Yeah, they do that, people do, you know why?
Speaker 1:I didn't even hear Barachick's name. For nothing there's a trend, canelo.
Speaker 2:They want to keep them belts hostage.
Speaker 1:Ah, man, well you can keep the belt and pay station fees on them shits every fucking month.
Speaker 2:But the loma thing's weird how how do they pay that fee? Yeah, it's every month, every month yeah, have a good one um. The loma thing, though, is like like, what do you like?
Speaker 1:where have you, where'd you go? And you had to pay for them both.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, but when you it's like different, because once and then you got to pay a team.
Speaker 1:This is fucking crazy.
Speaker 2:Okay, but still, when you when you achieve undisputed, it's like, okay, you're the guy, you're the guy, yeah, pay. Yeah, but still so you're making money.
Speaker 1:It's paid, yeah, not all of them not undisputed you think all of them making all that money?
Speaker 2:if you're undisputed, some in yeah I feel like people.
Speaker 1:You're making millions, I think you're making millions I fight in general.
Speaker 2:Yeah, have to for all the belt.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes how much you paying for the?
Speaker 2:I don't know the percentage. I know it's a lot.
Speaker 1:They always complain, but you're making money, but listen it's like discouraging a little bit like yeah, but but it still is.
Speaker 2:That's the point. Like I like the, you're right, the paying thing is stupid and I say this all the time. I like the idea like oh shit, he's a champion, he's a champion. Make these champions fight Like four more belts.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's.
Speaker 2:And then when you get all four, it's like shit. Yeah of it. Yeah, it's cool. I like that's one thing people always argue with me like the ufc, they need one belt, they need one belt. I think they should get rid of, like the all the other interim and intercontinental, all that shit get rid of that. But when you like the four main sanctioning bodies and the belts, that thing is awesome, I think, because it's like there's so many fighters dude, every day I'm seeing a new fighter here you know what I mean boxing.
Speaker 1:If it was just one belt, it'd be, so'd be so hard to get one and two.
Speaker 2:It wouldn't be the hype for an undisputed or unified. So now Keyshawn wants to unify. Oh no, I'm sorry, Keyshawn's on the chase for a belt, a real belt, and then he wants to unify. It's a better shot at getting fights made when they have that motivation to fight champions. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:But dude, he got to get rid of that little belt he got I don't know, I don't even pay attention, like I said, because I was playing Undisputed and shit. They made me get rid of my Continental belt.
Speaker 2:That's funny, I didn't even know they had that in there.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they did.
Speaker 2:Why'd they make you get rid of it?
Speaker 1:Because I was, like, ranked to get a regular shot. Yeah, so you got to get a title yeah, no good, that's good. They're doing the right thing.
Speaker 2:I don't like that, I guess that continent.
Speaker 1:I don't know, I don't want to get into the belt. I'm going to dispute it, baby, with Jesse Bam. We'll get there, we will.
Speaker 2:But listen, what's next for Keyshawn? He says he's going to be the Ukrainian fella that fights easy to make. I believe he's with top rank right. Yeah, yeah he's with top rank, he's got a belt. That'll be Kishan and that'll be a test for Kishan. Now we're going to see.
Speaker 1:Now we're going to see.
Speaker 2:Who are you taking from? I forget, but I should know Baranchik. Navarrete, yes, he beat. Navarrete, yep.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I picked that one too. Yeah, yeah, he beat.
Speaker 2:Navarrete and that was like fucking Ukrainian weekend. Usyk won.
Speaker 1:Yeah, berencik. Yeah, that's another reason why I did that too.
Speaker 2:Yep WBO lightweight champion as of May 18th 2024.
Speaker 1:They got mad belts ukrainians right now. I know dude eastern europeans, man, no joke yo they.
Speaker 2:They could have had another one I was saying to you ukrainians right now, or like your gauge after the dron ennis fight, it's like your gauge. I don't want to say they're gatekeepers because they're good, like they're really good yeah but they're like all right, let's see how you do against the ukrainian. If you knock him out, you're god. If you just win, you're like all right, you're a good boxer because those dudes are tough as shit yeah but they could have had another one.
Speaker 2:Honestly, yeah, true true talk about it when, when we get there like I said, the lomachenko still like the monkey in the wrench at that weight class, like what is going on. I will say this, though shakur stevenson's there, uh, zapata, apparently it was.
Speaker 1:So what happens if they? They're not going to try to fight each other because they friends?
Speaker 2:who shakur? And uh, probably not. I mean, you'll see, we'll see what happens, shit changes I think shakur probably move up shit. Yeah, I think he's gonna, but right now, shakur, they just announced in Saudi Turkey Alik. Whatever the Sheik, the Iron Sheik said that he's going to put together Shakur and Zepeda. They're just waiting on Zepeda to approve. I can't see him not approving that fight. That is where we get to see where Shakur is at.
Speaker 1:It's Shakur who we say he is. But I don't know if they're really going to make that fight, because now Bob over here fucking blaming other people for fights and shit. I'm good bro.
Speaker 2:Nah, you see that shit. Saudi has the money, though Saudi has the money.
Speaker 1:But he blaming Saudi for the fucking for the Jared fucking Jared Anderson.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, he probably rushed it, but money talks who cares Money talks, he said talks who cares money talks, he said he highly advised him against that fight, which clearly he was right yeah but listen, they got paid money, talks another guy at 135 who fought on that same card, abdullah mason. Abdullah mason, this is the sparlay we hit rich people this week. Abdullah Mason, that was one of that first round. That first round was something, something different right, oh yeah, something way different. Did you expect that? No.
Speaker 1:No, no, no, no, no, absolutely not. I will say this though he got rocked.
Speaker 2:Abdullah, right yeah, but not like hurt rocked.
Speaker 1:No, he wasn't hurt too bad.
Speaker 2:He wasn't hurt, but but I feel like the Vasquez team, Johan Vasquez and I didn't really know about him before this. I feel like his team and him knew he was going to get knocked down, Because did you see the padding in the back of his head?
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Did you see that? I think they did that on purpose they grew that, they grew that hair out like right in the back of his head. It wasn't even like a mullet, they just grew it out in the back this way when he falls sometimes.
Speaker 1:Is it where?
Speaker 2:where is that? A style like plants and chia pets and shit.
Speaker 1:What is going on with boxers? He looked like a fucking taxi driver for real I don't, I wouldn't get in that taxi.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'd be like. No, get the next one where. Where? Where's going on with boxing and hair, though wasn't? Didn't someone get a haircut that night too? Oh yeah austin austin.
Speaker 1:I don't know how you say his last name, but he was fighting. In the middle of the fight they cut the hair off. I'm like, I'm looking like this I'm like puma says some shit like that, for a fucking.
Speaker 2:I wish I was forced to do some shit like that.
Speaker 1:Imagine cutting off a dread, though That'd be crazy.
Speaker 2:Yo for Oshaki's hair. I don't want to harp on it again because I already went on a tangent. Oh, he could have cut it shorter. They would have needed a chainsaw.
Speaker 1:I ain't gonna lie you beast.
Speaker 2:They would have called maintenance out Like yo, hey you beast.
Speaker 1:I ain't gonna like that one.
Speaker 2:It's true, that shit was crazy, yeah, but this didn't really affect the performance. This guy, vasquez's hair, vasquez.
Speaker 1:I'm like Like well Um, his hair Was like more so Just ugly. Yeah, it was like. I don't know If it really got in the way Cause I wasn't really Paying attention. Nobody cared about that fight.
Speaker 2:To cut his hair off If. If they did, they knew, they must have known Abdul was coming for it. Man, that was a. Let's talk about the fight.
Speaker 1:Wait which one are you talking about?
Speaker 2:oh, you're talking about that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, ohan, the ohan vest, oh I'm talking about the um, uh, austin guy. Oh no, yeah, I didn't care about that that fight was fucking. Nobody cared about that fight.
Speaker 2:He cut the hair off like probably knew nobody was gonna care, but someone, and they was beefing.
Speaker 1:But these are all see that shit they was beefing so much like it was like bad, like the coach was like he's a bum, he's a fucking bum, wow. And like it like after the fight he was still talking. Crazy like yo. It was crazy for for two fucking low-tier fighters like hey, man, people care, but it was something happened at the fucking press conference or something I had to look it up because they was fucking beasting and tim's like no, I don't like this.
Speaker 1:This is fucking crazy unsportsmanlike, like it was. It was crazy yeah that bad? Yeah, I'll have to check it out like the dude was talking wild shit while he was like coaching the whole fight, but fuck them.
Speaker 2:Nobody cares about that fight, nobody. They needed attention. Clearly, tim was probably right, uh, but let's talk about johan's hair, not his hair, let's talk about the performance. So I think, um, abdullah mason and this, this flash knockdown in the first round right, is great for him. I think it's great for him because, naturally, when you're that good, when you're as good as abdullah mason and you are just fucking I don't even know how to describe it just like fucking dudes up off the board, like just not even there's no. It almost looked like he was ready for a guy like Tank, like there's no. You know what I mean.
Speaker 2:Like he is just crushing dudes. This is a reality check. And not that he is, he has a great team, and not that he doesn't work hard. But at that age and doing that good so early, naturally you're going to get a little complacent. You know what I mean. So this was good. Now he knows I can't fuck around. You know what I mean. And he got up and he fucking destroyed him in the second round. So this was good to see, like, okay, this is real, this is a reality check.
Speaker 1:He just got caught in between the punches, yeah but that's good.
Speaker 2:That's good. You need that at this level. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Every great fighter that gets knocked down.
Speaker 1:But you got to get knocked down by somebody. Great.
Speaker 2:Don't be getting knocked down by yeah but no. At this point in his career, though, I feel like that's.
Speaker 1:I think it's too early.
Speaker 2:He's good? No, it's good. Like I just said, I don't think so. Yeah, Dude, what are you doing? I think it's too early.
Speaker 1:But what do you do? The next round? Yeah, but it's too early for Against somebody like I think it's good because this level of competition you shouldn't get knocked down by this.
Speaker 2:He'll never want to be, and he's good enough and talented enough.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I see that part of it.
Speaker 2:He's fighting every two, three months.
Speaker 1:I see that part of that Naturally naturally, he's probably going to knock on number one and probably try to make that mistake again.
Speaker 2:And when you're that good, that quick, it's natural to get complacent and train less. I mean, even though I think he trains hard, but just naturally.
Speaker 1:They have a lot of discipline.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I know, but I'm saying, naturally you could hit the heavy bag right. Your coach could be like yo hit the heavy bag 10 more rounds. You know you're slacking. You know what I mean? Like shit, like that, yeah but I just think opposite.
Speaker 1:I think this is not a good look for him at this level, at this level, this early.
Speaker 2:I don't think so. I think he's going to bounce back, and he did.
Speaker 1:I mean, he's elite, bro. He's not, it's not.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:It's good. I don't think it's so good. It's too early for it. It's not.
Speaker 2:You remember, I know Canelo early on in his career. He didn't get knocked out, but he got buzzed the fuck up and almost got knocked out. By who, though? Nobody, really that special.
Speaker 1:It nobody, really that special it wasn't nobody. No, it was somebody, but it wasn't. It wasn't anybody.
Speaker 2:We talking about a guy with no absolutely no name boxing man, grown-ass man with a fucking chia pet in the back of his head yeah, in an eight round fight that he should have fucking waxed him he did, wax him, he did yeah, but that's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 1:This guy is absolutely nobody. He should have a higher competition or something like that. Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Alvarez was almost knocked out by Cotto, so that's different. But, still it's early in the game.
Speaker 1:It's early yeah.
Speaker 2:And, like I said, he's probably training just like oh dude, I'm killing these dudes. This is nothing. This is nothing. Now it's going to be like oh shit, I got to take everything serious because anything could happen.
Speaker 1:But what do that make like his competition now? He's going to be like oh, somebody did it, I can do it, yeah.
Speaker 2:So that's why now he has to take that next level. He's great enough to do that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so he just paid confidence in people that's fighting him.
Speaker 2:But listen, he's that good, listen to us right now. Right, listen, he's that good, right, we know he's that good. You got him out of there in the second round.
Speaker 1:We know he's that good. Second round. That's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 2:It's not a good look, because now people see that he can get caught.
Speaker 1:He got knocked down, got up and waxed him in the second round. Yeah, see now. Anyway. How long did it take for him to get knocked down?
Speaker 2:Forever versus a good guy, yeah, that's what I'm talking about, and Jesse Rodriguez too. Yeah, but still.
Speaker 1:It took forever for them to be, but still, this is the greatest it took forever for him to get knocked down.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you're right, but the greatest it took forever for him to get knocked down, but like I think he needed this, like okay, a little taste.
Speaker 1:A little taste. Okay, next thing, you know, next fight, we're going to see it again, that's what it is Well, I doubt it.
Speaker 2:I doubt it for the next one.
Speaker 1:Not the next one, but it's going to come again.
Speaker 2:Maybe like when, first, like, first, like a real name, 135. But he's going to move up too. He's young, he's not going to stay there forever.
Speaker 1:He's fucking young and big, so how fast do you think he's going to fight for a title there?
Speaker 2:I hope so, because it's a good weight class. But I don't know, At that age it's hard.
Speaker 1:They grow Look how big he is, jahai Tucker. He's like six foot something.
Speaker 2:He looked big Abdullah yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't think he's that tall.
Speaker 2:He looked big, yeah, but that's what I mean. He's making weight All right, anyway, whatever, I don't know. That's a fun weight class. 135, man, that's one of the better ones. 130, 135. It's a great weight class. But moving on to 130, another guy that moved up in weight right, yeah to 130, ray ford. Now, ray ford I'm mad at because he lost me some damn money.
Speaker 1:I put a last minute parlay on me some money I put a last minute parlay and that guy no, actually the guy he fought won me money.
Speaker 2:Yeah, because he was surviving. Yes, he was singing Destiny's Child, I'm a survivor.
Speaker 1:He was fucking surviving.
Speaker 2:I appreciate him for that that was great surviving, because was it the second or third when he got knocked down, I appreciate him. When he got knocked down, I'm like, oh, he's fucked, he banged on the floor or his chest, and shit that dude he's fucking Latino.
Speaker 1:He survived the whole fucking thing, and then it was.
Speaker 2:Second second round. Dude, he got knocked down by a crazy hook in the second, a right hook from fucking the heavens and it was a lead hook and he fucking, he threw that shit like Canelo a little bit.
Speaker 1:He like fucking, did you see?
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I don't know where he learned that from. That shit was crazy. It looked like he was going to the body and came up top. You know what's crazy?
Speaker 2:That's the Canelo hook these Latino fighters that last and survive. It's been a trend lately.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:They're not going to live long man. These corners need to start throwing the towel. And I'm not just saying that because I lost the bet, but after the sixth round, Orlando Gonzalez's power was clearly gone. He was not going to win this fight, but he never got stopped. I don't care. That's pride In like five years when that brain is swollen. He can stop yeah, pride, hey Cool.
Speaker 1:That's how you make the bets. Man, I lost the fucking bet. That's how you make the bet.
Speaker 2:Fuck him. He should have been stopped and it was a slow count. That second round was a slow-ass count.
Speaker 1:I'm like oh man, you know what, you know you were shitting, you were shit.
Speaker 2:He texted me. He's like Ray Fuller about to fuck it up for me.
Speaker 1:Oh, I know Fucking bullshit. Hey, you can't go against the stats man.
Speaker 2:He never gave a today. He survived.
Speaker 1:He survived, he made sure he that shit didn't go on his so. So let's talk about ray ford, though. So he said, very good, yeah, he's right, he's ready, he did. He reminds me he fights like abdullah mason.
Speaker 2:In a sense, too, like same same kind of style fights like him okay, yes, sir, yes, you're right, he had a belt.
Speaker 1:You're right, you're right, yeah, he, he he's been doing.
Speaker 2:He's got his hands full in this, this weight class, though. Ray, he's going to see he was calling out Oshaki.
Speaker 1:Foster, but Oshaki's fighting the winner of Valdez Navarrete. That would be a good one?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think so. Oshaki got power too Sneaky power. You've got to look at who he's facing Bullshit. Oh my God, this guy hating man Hating. I'm hating Ray Vargas, Not Ray Vargas, Ray.
Speaker 1:Ford, them two styles fighting together.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think that'd be good, that'd be a banger. That'd be a banger For sure.
Speaker 1:I'm taking Ray Ford.
Speaker 2:So the point I'm making, though, is adding him to this mix.
Speaker 1:Are you taking your boy Oshaki? Yeah.
Speaker 2:I'm never If he cuts his hair.
Speaker 1:If.
Speaker 2:Oshaki goes in there with the hair. I can't back him.
Speaker 1:I'm not cutting that hair. Man Ray's going to put some work on that boy.
Speaker 2:The only thing about Ray that I saw style-wise in this he kind of jumps when he throws. You see that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he did that lead hook, that little Roy Jones.
Speaker 2:But he's versus a guy like Oshaki or even Oscar Valdez. They're going to punch him. Between that, he better be ready. You know what?
Speaker 1:I mean.
Speaker 2:You saw that with Nick Ball. He didn't really punch him between it, but the more punch output kind of stops him in his tracks. We'll see, though Sky's the limit for him. Great that he's there. That 130 weight class is insane, insane and it's awesome. And now he's there, it's even better.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think, I think whatchamacallit, I think he's going to be good in that weight class. Yeah, he filled out. I feel like Navarreterete is fucking.
Speaker 2:he's mediocre he's, he's, he don't know. You don't know what you're gonna get with him.
Speaker 1:That's the problem, like if you train you don't have. He don't really have skill, but he like he, he's a dog.
Speaker 2:His skill is that awkwardness. Like that's his skill. Like I'm gonna hit, I'm gonna hit you with a hook from over here, like now.
Speaker 1:That is that's not gonna work with like people like oshaki foster and and his skill. I'm going to hit you with a hook from over here. Nah, with that. That's not going to work with people like Oshaki Foster and.
Speaker 2:I think he beats Valdez, though I think he beats Valdez who Navarrete Valdez is in December. Yeah, I think he beats Valdez.
Speaker 1:I think Valdez is done.
Speaker 2:Yeah, me too. Never mind, We'll talk about it when that comes to fruition in december. But yeah, cool ray ford, congrats to you, man, you, you did, did your thing. You didn't win me the money, but you definitely shut him out. I wish they would have threw the towel in. You took some years off that guy's life.
Speaker 1:You want me some money, ray, yes, you did.
Speaker 2:He ran man, thank you and all the hair was normal.
Speaker 1:In that fight everybody had normal hair, hair, you and his fucking hair nowadays. Oh, shit.
Speaker 2:What'd I do? Oh fuck, oh fuck. I don't know what's going on. We're still here, though, and we're still recording. Sorry, a lot of technical difficulties lately. I'm fucking up. We need a damn producer, alright on to the next, and now this I'm gonna. I'm actually sweating. I'm getting so excited for this one Jesse Bam Rodriguez versus Pedro Guevara. So Willie texted me before this. He's like yo, I don't know. Pedro Guevara never been stopped. And what was my?
Speaker 1:response.
Speaker 2:That's what you said to me.
Speaker 1:I was talking about that fight.
Speaker 2:Yeah, what was my response?
Speaker 1:After I already betted TKO. I said that yeah. I said no, who the fuck Bro it was that it was Jesse fight. Yeah, I don't think. I don't know if it was Jesse fight.
Speaker 2:All right, well, make believe it was, then it was. I don't think, I don't want to, I don't want to look it Like I don't know.
Speaker 1:Man, he's never been stopped, oh we were just talking yeah, like it wasn't, like I wasn't saying, like I was not like least confident, no Like he's not going to Okay. I might have said that, but no, because I guess they were saying it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, stopped. Well, how'd that work out for him? Yeah, fucking jesse rodriguez, fucking we. We always talk about like eras in boxing, like canelo era. The the mayweather era was a long one, right like even in that time you're like the klitschko era.
Speaker 2:It's like a thing boxing fans say the errors in boxing. Yeah, right now. Like people say the terence crawford era, because he was undisputed jesse rodriguez, we are on the cusp right now of him being the era for the next like 20 years, because he's only 24 yo, he's young as hell, man he is he is nasty and I hope eddie hearn does the right thing promoting him like we almost wish he was with Top Rank, just because of the ESPN connection. I think this was a good look, great look, but he's had better looks.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he has man, he should have been the main.
Speaker 2:Dude, I know it's kind of fucked up and he's like an American.
Speaker 1:He's so cool that he was like I'll be the co-main, I'm going to Philly, he just go where everyone goes.
Speaker 2:He is like must-see TV. He's the closest thing and he reminds me of a lot of what's his name? Lomachenko in his prime. Like just artwork in the ring, like someone kind of like Mayweather too, like just straight boxing artwork.
Speaker 1:His in and out.
Speaker 2:More power, yeah with with way more power at that weight class, way more power like his in and out movement, the angles, and he's on a, on like a different time and like he want to take out certain people movement timing power everything and really want to take out certain people like I'm trying to take out the best that was in the league.
Speaker 1:He's taking out legends, legends. That's what he said. That's what he wants.
Speaker 2:They never thought that Chocolatito would still be around Chocolatito's doing his fucking thing. That's what he wants next. He's my idol, one of my idols, but yeah, I'd love to take him out and that could happen. There's a chance that could happen and that's a legacy fight and then I want him to unify again. He's tiny but mighty bro.
Speaker 1:He is crazy, I want him to be more mainstream. I want to meet him.
Speaker 2:I want him to be mainstream in America. I want him on every fucking outlet. I need to be a promoter Because Eddie Hearn needs to put him. Yo, you want to make your stamp in America? You need to take Jesse Rodriguez and just go on an American tour. Go everywhere, every news outlet everything.
Speaker 1:I think they're going to take him to Saudi.
Speaker 2:Oh, that's not America, but okay, yeah, I'm just saying he's going to get his money.
Speaker 1:He's going to get his money. Yeah, I think they said that's where it's going to happen.
Speaker 2:Everybody's chasing them, like the promoter. The Saudis are so rich, the promoters are chasing them.
Speaker 1:It's crazy, but whatever the good fights are made, he should be global.
Speaker 2:That's what I mean. Yeah, in the small niche market of boxing, he's big time.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:But what I'm saying is we should walk the streets and people will be like oh yeah, I know who's like I mean when you see the tattoos on his face. Oh yeah, you should know I don't want to say anything because I don't know if it's a cross or whatever, but that face tattoo is a little suspect. Um, it looks like something you learn in health class you know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you said it before, right, uh, yeah, um, I didn't see the tat that you was talking about.
Speaker 2:Google it I don't want to tat that. You was talking about Google it. I don't want to. All right, never mind. Yeah, don't Google it. Your parental block is probably on, Nah, but forget about it. When you're that good, you can get whatever you want on your face. Shit Yo he is chilling man. I think it's like a cross or something.
Speaker 1:He's got so much aura.
Speaker 2:I don't know who I was following, but I read something online and listen to this. And you're not going to like this, but listen to this. This is how good this fucking guy is and he's fighting real people. He said I don't like this, You'll see he's fighting real dudes.
Speaker 2:He got the oh man I read online somewhere I forget. I wish I could shout him out. I was scrolling through but it was like his connect rate. His connect with his power punches right is 49% of his power punches. That's more than Canelo Crawford and Tank. That's the best in boxing. Just let that sink in for a second. Who are the faces of boxing right? Why is Jesse Bam Rodriguez not the face of boxing? And I'm not blaming his tattoo. And then here's another thing.
Speaker 2:Here's another thing in that same thread I read. Sorry I I forget the guy's name. I'll look it up and shout you out on my um, my instagram, if I post this. But 40 percent of all his punches land, which is the highest in all of boxing yeah 40 of all his punches and 49 of his power punches. This dude is pound for pound. If that's not pound for pound, and look at his resume yeah dude is a monster. He should. He's the american great one, right now yeah and he needs to be promoted better.
Speaker 2:I think I just I I'm talking about like mainstream man you know what I mean.
Speaker 1:He got it all bro, yep, he got it all, man, and he, he can fucking speak, he can talk he's from the giant state of texas, like he should be big time, big time big time, big time. I agree with you, man.
Speaker 2:Uh, thank you for putting me on to him, because nobody really is see I had to put a boxing fan onto him, like willie's been more into boxing lately.
Speaker 1:But like that's crazy. It's the lighter weights.
Speaker 2:It's hard to get in. The way he wins at these lighter weights is different.
Speaker 1:It's different and he's fucking talented. I love footwork. He's sending it. He's shuffle replaced into an uppercut.
Speaker 2:He's done that before too. He does it on every fight.
Speaker 1:The last one he shuffled, replaced into a body uppercut that dropped him, and then this one is a straight uppercut that knocked his head back and his like the way his and his jabs is snapping people's heads back.
Speaker 2:He's another one too that got knocked down and got back up and said he learned from it. So this guy is a god amongst men.
Speaker 1:They was like I reposted him and Boots. They shadowboxing each other in the ring. Even with that little shit, he's little than Boots. You know what I'm saying. Even with the little things, with that, he's controlling the ring. Still, it's crazy, right, and they shadowboxing and Boots is the bigger person, you know, right, like, and they shadow box and boots is the bigger person you know when you're the bigger person, you, just you're the one that's coming.
Speaker 2:Forget what tiafimo called it, something escalito or some shit. I remember when we talked about school. Yeah, school boxing, like yeah escuela, yeah, something like, something like that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, whatever school boxing and they just sit in here shadow boxing and he's. He's controlling the ring on boots like I'm, like yo damn this guy got so much aura like. So no fear, no fear yeah, just I'm that guy I'm, I'm gonna do whatever I want like I don't care if I'm literally, and he's only 24.
Speaker 2:Yeah. Bro Crazy, 24, just became a father and all that he needs to be promoted better, and I hope Eddie Hearn understands what I mean by that. He's not going to listen.
Speaker 1:I feel like people still don't know who he is. That's what I'm saying you never even see people post about it.
Speaker 2:Like athletically right, athletically Out of all sports. Athletically right, athletically, out of all sports. Athletically Doing what he's doing should be SportsCenter number one every day.
Speaker 1:Even like these other podcasts, like ours and shit that post on Instagram, like most of them just do Instagram shit. I've never seen them on YouTube, but they don't. They talk about the same people all over again and not know. You never see.
Speaker 2:Justin, let me shout out, let me, let me shout out something about that too. And like, sometimes I find ourselves getting in that trap and I always want to try to avoid that because we're just boxing fans doing this for fun, talking boxing. Sometimes I find myself, like in this new social media age, like oh yeah, that'll be good clicks, that'll be good clicks like I have to but, but I don't like that because, like, like you just said, the only way to do that is to talk about the Canellos.
Speaker 2:To talk about the Tyson Furies. You know what I mean.
Speaker 1:I think that's what people appreciate us for too, Because we have other people on that.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 2:I like the pure, but, that being said, jesse Rodriguez should be that guy.
Speaker 1:That's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 2:Let me read this again. Let me read this again, let me read this again. And I'm gonna shout this guy out bam connects with 49 of his power punches. That's, that's number one in boxing right. That's more than canelo, crawford and tank, who are the three clickbait guys you know, them, three are up there 40 of all his punches land. 40 of all his punches land.
Speaker 2:That's number one in boxing yeah that shit is fucking wild, yeah, fucking absurd. In in a very skilled weight class, like the lesser weights, they don't hit hard, but their talent level is crazy and skill level is crazy because of that. They don't like a heavyweight, just needs to to rely on the knockout. Yeah, like, the weight class he's in is all skill like and dude has it all, has it all. He needs to be the clickbait. Bam needs to be the clickbait. Jesse bam rodriguez is the clickbait and that's why now, finally, they're saying pound for pound, pound for pound pound for pound is uh 210.
Speaker 1:Is the? What is that? The? His area code?
Speaker 2:I don't know, I think so, I don't know, 210. Bam shout out instagram 210. He does some other thing too, like ftp for the people no but every time I read him I think he means fuck the police. I don't care, he's like laughing like I think he's talking about fuck the police, fuck them, fuck the police. I don't know, but whatever, yo, he's the man. I wish he was from New York, but he's not.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Moving on, moving on the main event. Damn, this chair is hurting my ass and my damn balls.
Speaker 1:Fuck.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, so should I talk about it. Why are you smiling, uh, this guy side note as soon as I come in here, tvma.
Speaker 1:As soon as I come in here, this nigga, but I need to stop saying that word anyway, as soon as I come in here, this guy just starts talking about his issues. He got going on.
Speaker 2:Just cause I did some, all right, because I deleted the last episode because the sound quality was bad, and I'm a man of my word. I'm a little swollen in the private part area and reason being is what's it called Protection? What is?
Speaker 1:it called.
Speaker 2:I wouldn't call it protection no but what's it called Like when you fuck? What's it called Like when you Fuck? What's the word Prevention? Prevention, yes, but not like I don't know. I got snipped. All right, not having a little? Yeah, long story short.
Speaker 1:He's in love fellas Long story short. He has the male birth control. Yeah.
Speaker 2:Shoot or shoot. Man Shoot or shoot. And I'm a shooter, yeah, but it came with side effects.
Speaker 1:Yes, because somebody didn't have the patience.
Speaker 2:So when you get snipped and figure it out, you're not supposed to do anything for like two weeks. I lasted one day and yes, so now I'm two weeks. I lasted one day and yes, so now I'm two weeks after that and I still got swollen nuts.
Speaker 1:You got elephant nuts.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's cool looking because I never had that, what? Alright? Alright, guys Enough of the life stories Anyone else want to know about me and my life. Jerron Ennis, I got to take this hoodie off. I'm sweating from this fucking tequila and energy drink. Go on, give your. Take Willie on the next fight after Bam. Bam did what he's supposed to do and someone didn't.
Speaker 1:Go ahead, take it away. Oh yeah, bo supposed to do and someone didn't Go ahead. Take it away. Boots man. This is like a replay, a replay of no, no, actually it's not, because I wasn't expecting. What's how you say this guy's name? Damn, oh, um, damn.
Speaker 2:Cram-ram-ram-ram-ram. Oh damn, Somebody K we not good at names.
Speaker 1:anyway, dude, we like very uneducated.
Speaker 2:Yeah, we not good at names. Anyway, dude, we like very uneducated.
Speaker 1:Yeah, let's start with a, c.
Speaker 2:Karen Chukazukian. Chukazukian, all right, chukazukian.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I didn't expect him in this rematch. I expected him to do the same thing he did the first time when I went to DC to see see tank. They was on the undercard and boots could not catch this guy. He could not call caught off the ring. This dude had a whole different haircut. He didn't look the same and even I'm like what the who is this?
Speaker 2:guy, we're like. We're like a barber shop the way we talk about hair yo bro.
Speaker 1:he cut off all his hair. Like who is this guy? Like I didn't even know if this is the same guy. Well, apparently it wasn't. He came to fight. He came to fight today, this fight against Boots, and I loved it. I kind of hated it because I thought it was going to lead into a knockout. It was almost there for Boots.
Speaker 2:So who was the announcer? Sergio Mora? I didn almost there for boots, but so who was the announcer? Sergio Mora? I didn't prep for this but, I, remember the fight. I think it was Sergio Mora, right? I don't remember.
Speaker 1:If you you kept on talking about the announcer too.
Speaker 2:Yeah, dude, and I'll say this you was pissed off.
Speaker 1:I'm like yo why you keep on bringing about. I just I'm all here agent about this fight like, so I'm just hoping this guy last karen.
Speaker 2:I'm just gonna call him chuck, chuck hadizian, so okay, so whatever, chuck you tough ukrainian. I know he came into this fight different than the fight you just described, right yeah and I understand he came to bang and he was landing a lot of shots.
Speaker 2:Yeah, was he, but he wasn't winning rounds and, and that being said, ennis was landing a lot of shots too. I think it was Sergio Moura, I'm pretty sure it was. I don't know what Boots did to him, what Boots' family did to him, but if you would have just turned the TV off and just listened to him talk, you would have think Boots was about to get knocked out and this fight was going to be over. Oh, man.
Speaker 2:And that wasn't the case, and that was annoying me. That and that wasn't the case and that was annoying me. That's why and I say this to all our casual boxing friends you've got to watch fights twice.
Speaker 1:But it gave me faith. I knew so right before it gave me faith. Though when he was talking I was like oh man, he's doing real good. I guess Just don't get hit with nothing, please, sir.
Speaker 2:Right before this fight started I know we had our spar lay which we hit and we hit big $1000 for a $50 something bet and we're going to keep doing that. We're going to try and do that more. I put on this fight right before it started. I'm like yo, let me hedge my bet a little bit. Let's just hedge it out a little bit. I was like I don't know. When you look at the odds, you're like yo, kishhawn gonna get this guy out of here or not, keyshawn.
Speaker 1:I'm sorry, boots, boots is gonna Boots.
Speaker 2:I'm sorry Boots is gonna get this guy out of here, right yeah. So I'm like yo over under seven. I could see him doing it in the fifth. I'll take a deep, yeah nothing nothing about that knockdown.
Speaker 1:Yeah, smart, so smart man, this guy's intelligent bro, smart, yeah, and it's crazy, I like I, I like I really started appreciating a knee like I didn't ever appreciate a knee until now yeah, that was a great knee a great knee because he was getting punched on and he was able to recover take the little time out you knew you're going down.
Speaker 1:You already knew, don't get sparked out don't do it man and I learned that shit at undisputed. Play the video. I learned this shit. Okay, I'm like yo. This guy is so smart yo just take the knee.
Speaker 2:And it did help him take your time. It did help him Take your time. It did not help me because I thought for sure.
Speaker 1:It fucking helped me, bro. I was like yes.
Speaker 2:I thought for sure. I was like oh, here we go. He got like a minute left. He's going to stop him. No, the knee.
Speaker 1:He's smart, he recovered and he's tough, tough, tough Ukrainian, like I said before.
Speaker 2:Smart Ukrainian. You want to gauge your fighter. You want to gauge your fighter and give him a test.
Speaker 1:He's awkward, you can't time him.
Speaker 2:If I'm a coach, right, and I need to find guys for sparring, right To get ready for a fight.
Speaker 1:He's it.
Speaker 2:I'm going to every Ukrainian professional and seeing what I can get them to say I don't know where they get this movement from.
Speaker 1:that they all got this movement. I love it bro.
Speaker 2:Forget about the movement, dude the toughness.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they tough, the toughness is crazy. The haircut did it for them too here we go Hair, again he looking like a freaking different wave.
Speaker 2:Sparring shape-ups, sparring shape-ups, sparring shape-ups. Come on down, we'll give you an edge up.
Speaker 1:You won't forget he looked so different man, I don't know what and he came to fight Like yo, you thought I was going to run. Yeah, I think that caught Boots off guard a little bit. He didn't think he was going to.
Speaker 2:So about Boots there was a lot of things I didn't like from Boots and it wasn't so much his talent and the fact that he gets hit. Yeah, the arguing with the dad and the coaching of the dad was just not. That was oh yeah, that was not it.
Speaker 1:I was telling our friend of the show and co-founder of the show, Konda, who Left Hook oh.
Speaker 2:Jamal.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I was talking about Co-founder the fuck.
Speaker 2:He just put it all together.
Speaker 1:It was at his gym that we found.
Speaker 2:We were friends and shit. He was telling our friend Jamal. This is a weird intro.
Speaker 1:And so we was like I'm like yo, he did not the only thing. As a coach, you didn't have no type of you telling him to get him out of here every round, but not give him no instruction to do that.
Speaker 2:Even they were pissed. Like they go to the, the cameras would go to the corner like listen to the coach, what's his instructions, get him out of there.
Speaker 1:Get him out of there, nothing. Get him out of there. Get him out of there Nothing. Get him out of there. Bro, you have to give your friend instructions to do that.
Speaker 2:And that right there was a perfect example of when father-son coaching duos, which we talk about a lot, go south. That's why you need to bring someone else in that sees your son it's your blood in a different way. It's kind of like that analogy sees your son, it's your blood in a different way. It's kind of like that. That, that analogy like your son's the best. Like parents always fight oh, my son will beat up your son. My son's the best at baseball. No, my son's better than your son. It's like that same concept. Like you think your son is way better than he is.
Speaker 2:And I'm not saying boots is bad, boots is great. But as a father, you see him in like a different light and you need to, you need to get rid of, yes, men, and bring someone else in. Like imagine if boots brought another coach in and I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but like a, like a real boxing coach, that's not your son, that'll tell you what to do. That you kind of. And also, as you get older as a person, you kind of respect an outsider coming in. It's like, oh, that's my dad, that's my old dad, you's my old dad.
Speaker 2:Yeah, you know what I mean, Not respect, but you know what I'm saying. Like you tend, as you become an adult, you listen to other outside elders more rather than listening to the same elder over and over again your dad, you know.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't understand that.
Speaker 2:Sometimes the son becomes the father, if that makes sense. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1:Like you, teach your dad shit I'm saying like you, you teach your dad shit, I teach my dad shit now, like the son. Yeah, because now, because they don't know how to use the phone yeah, but you know what I mean you know like it's like a different. I'm like I'll tell I haven't had my dad make a bet for me today. He's like I don't know how to do this shit. What the fuck is the spread in the middle of the money line? I'm telling you the fuck, are you dead ass?
Speaker 2:serious right now but yo, yo, what's next for? So he did win. I just want to let the record state we're cooking him right now, he won clearly.
Speaker 1:He won clearly, clearly.
Speaker 2:He knocked him down and he closed out right. Yeah, the dude was surviving too. The only problem he was holding like a motherfucker.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and I'm glad that he got pointed points away.
Speaker 2:Yeah, that was good because he was, he was holding for their life. Uh, what's next for boots? Now, though, he says he wants to move up. Terence crawford, like, wrote to him oh, stay, you know, you never know what could happen. Yeah, it was weird.
Speaker 2:Weird message um, he wants to move up to 154 yeah, he's gonna get hurt so I was actually our friend, our friend mellow, right, he messaged me and and I got something to say about meello. I've noticed, all right, and I'm not talking shit. He's a good guy, love him. This dude will never and it's good, it's good, actually, it's very good he will never root against the black man.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, Mello will never. I noticed that he's just pro black, so like they're talking about um.
Speaker 2:Uh, he married a white girl nah, nah, yo Mello's good people, good people. What I'm saying is like in boxing. In boxing, I notice every argument.
Speaker 1:I'm like, bro, like.
Speaker 2:No like what, but Melo hit me up. We always talk. Obviously he boxed with us. We always talk boxing and he's like yo. We're talking about Virgil Ortiz Jr versus Boots, right? He's going to hurt him If you get hit like he got hit in this fight by Virgil Ortiz, you're going out, you're not, no, and Virgil Ortiz gets hit too, but you're going out Boots, if you get hit like that, work on your defense. So he's like nah, nah, I'm like. What do you mean?
Speaker 1:nah, nah, he's dead. He's not going to be able to do that shit to him Like you can't Not going to be walking into him. And doing your little no hand movement. He was getting hit by him with that, like he was trying to do his little. What's a lefty's kryptonite? What do you mean? What's? A lefty's kryptonite, it's the hook.
Speaker 2:The right hook, the right hook, I'm sorry. The left hook, left hook. So he, bro he was when he would go lefty.
Speaker 1:That left hook. He was getting Automatic. With that, remind about me and my prime automatic I'm knocked out, boom I'm a lefty automatic like he was getting. He was getting rocked with, yeah, and ortiz had a power. He has a powerful one, but you don't know how, we don't know how boots power is going to change at that weight too. But you want, you gotta, you're not gonna be able to let your hands fly like that without getting hit.
Speaker 2:Ironically, they both just fought tough Ukrainians. They're coming off and people say Virgil lost. I think he lost. People say he lost, but that dude was a little tougher than this guy, a little more skill. But if you're getting hit now, if you're getting hit like he got hit versus a guy like Virgil Ortiz Jr, who has the power.
Speaker 1:I think Virgil will hurt him. I think so too, unless. I don't know if he'll win, but I think he'll hurt him.
Speaker 2:Another thing is, too like he hasn't really he put the last guy out, but like it's kind of late. Who Boots Boots? If he moves up to 154, hopefully his power increases because he's making. He got 154, hopefully his power increases because he's making he got the power.
Speaker 1:I don't think is like yeah, I don't think the power is what I mean he has.
Speaker 2:Virgil has power, he has a great.
Speaker 1:They both got a great knockout.
Speaker 2:Yeah, stoppage. But like lately, what have you done for me lately? He got the guy out like the 10th or 11th, but I'm working. We're only hating on him, not hating on him. We're only hating on him, not hating on him. We're only critiquing him. So bad because he's so good, if that makes sense. Yeah, he's so damn good that we expect so much more, but he got a little bit of humble pie hey.
Speaker 1:I betted the distance. You won Sparlay. That was plus 400.
Speaker 2:We can do another Sparlay today 471.
Speaker 1:I don't know who you got.
Speaker 2:Well, we got the next topic at hand that we're going to talk about you. Good, we're almost done.
Speaker 1:No, because what do you got? I don't, because I don't really know, know what About these fights? Because of when? I? Oh, fuck it, amanda, I feel like she won the first one, yeah, I think so. I was re-watching that shit before I got here.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I think she won the first one too.
Speaker 1:Wait, so it was so lopsided All right, we're going to get into that.
Speaker 2:Oh, let's get into it. So what he's talking about is the Mike Tyson, jake Paul preview coming out of Dallas. The only thing that's going to win in Dallas this year is boxing, because the damn Cowboys are not.
Speaker 1:Wow, wow, that was a low blow, it was. You get it, it was oh.
Speaker 2:I get it. My balls hurt Low blow. You got to bring that up again.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you just talked about my basketball team, I mean yeah, so Willie's a diehard Cowboy fan.
Speaker 2:So before he got here the Jets were playing. It is Sunday night. They played at the 4 pm game Jets and Cowboys. So I look at the scores. Jets and Cowboys have the same exact score. They're both losing by like four touchdowns.
Speaker 1:I'm like what the fuck. I'm a Jet fan, so it is what it is.
Speaker 2:But hey, props to them. They are going to gonna fucking. Mike Tyson sells out, he could sell out fucking anything. This is crazy. They're gonna sell out the stadium, if they haven't already.
Speaker 1:I don't know he's in shape.
Speaker 2:He looks like we talked about earlier. You know how much money they're gonna make it's on Netflix you know how much money. I don't know the estimated Mike Tyson 20 mil, jake Paul 40. That's a lot of money, man.
Speaker 1:God damn, that is a lot of money, you said. You said Jake Paul is getting 40 and Mike is getting what?
Speaker 2:Yeah, 20. Damn, that's a lot of money. So so people say too and I want to make something clear, and other boxing pundits and stuff have talked about this but like Jake Paul is so bad for boxing, Jake Paul is not really because, like we talked about with Jesse Rodriguez and stuff, right.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:You now on this podcast and stuff. People come up to you and ask you what.
Speaker 1:What do you?
Speaker 2:mean Like what fight do people talk about the most? The past like month?
Speaker 1:Oh, this fight.
Speaker 2:Yeah, People don't come up to me and they're like who's Jesse Rodriguez going to beat? Who's Boots Ennis going to do?
Speaker 1:you think, boots Ennis Everybody.
Speaker 2:Every regular person is like yo, mike Tyson, jake Paul what do you think? And I'm getting phone calls from people. I and Jake Paul and I'm getting phone calls from people. I don't get phone calls Like legit, and other people have said this and I think Michael Montero said it he's another boxing analyst, he works for Ring Magazine. He's legit and I'm like yo, you're right. Like people I talk to in high school who I haven't spoke to in years are messaging me.
Speaker 1:About this fight.
Speaker 2:Yeah, like, not about Canelo, about this fight. I get it a little bit sometimes with Canelo, fights where they're like yo, how do I get the pay-per-view, but not about it. You know what I mean. Yeah, that's crazy, yeah, that's crazy.
Speaker 1:This is an exciting time, man.
Speaker 2:So that whole thing of Jake Paul bad for boxing, I don't know. I don't know if he really is, because he got people talking about boxing regular, and then he's putting real fighters yeah on the undercard on every card. He has real fights. He have real fights just like amanda saran. So what do you want to talk about first? Willie, I'll leave it to you. You want to talk about tyson paul or serrano taylor or mario?
Speaker 1:I guess we start we're gonna start with our boy shushoo-shoo, shoo-shoo, shoo-shoo is on the card. Shoo-shoo is on the card out of nowhere.
Speaker 2:Bruce Car-.
Speaker 1:He just popped up and got a bag. True, he just popped up and got a bag. Secure the bag.
Speaker 2:Secure the bag and on the card with Mike Tyson, a little Brownsville, Brooklyn action.
Speaker 1:He just popped up and secured the bag dude my dude fought in 9 20.
Speaker 2:He fought in september. We were there, we was there. September, the late september. So basically it's october, it was september 27th, right, it's november 15th he fought a month ago, no, and he fought.
Speaker 1:He fought puerto rican day.
Speaker 2:That's june, september and now now November, and that last fight was the toughest fight he's ever been in and now, a month later, he's not fighting like a nobody sort of, he's fighting a highly ranked Dana Coolwell. Now I have my own opinion of Australian fighters and I think they're a little inflated.
Speaker 1:I don't know nothing about this guy.
Speaker 2:He's actually highly ranked. He's decent. The point I'm making is he's not like a bad, bad boxer. Shushu should be able to give him. But what scares me and you know I'm a Carrington guy Ironically, not even by chance, I got the fucking shirt on.
Speaker 1:Seriously, I just noticed that.
Speaker 2:No, I swear to God, I didn't Look. I just noticed that. No, I swear to God, I didn't, I didn't even Look. I'll show you, I didn't even prep for Shushu. This is one month removed from the toughest fight of his life. Yeah, Like that's crazy. And props to him, yo.
Speaker 1:No, this is Major major, major props to him. Honestly, I feel like this is one of the smartest moves he could possibly do and Top.
Speaker 2:Rank allowed him Because he's in contract with Top Rank. That's another thing Top Rank allowed him to do this. Yeah, he's in contract with Top Rank. This isn't a Top.
Speaker 1:Rank promotion. What is?
Speaker 2:this this is MVP Jake Paul promotions. This is crazy. That's how. So again, again. Shout out to Bob Aaron Again. When people say Jake Paul bad for boxing, is he Like? Look what's going on. Not all these fighters are signed by MVP promotions. This is Mario Barrios, isn't Like that's a belt fight?
Speaker 1:This is crazy. Now, this is the smartest thing. You know why? This is the smartest thing. This guy, I think Shu, is going to get so much.
Speaker 2:He needs to knock him out. Yeah, he's going to get so much fame for this shit.
Speaker 1:Sparlay, yeah, of course, but I don't know if they're going to have him on there. This is weird, they didn't even have Kishon. It's early, it's early. They didn't even have Kishon because K?
Speaker 2:Because Keyshawn, the odds were too crazy.
Speaker 1:But you got an odd shop.
Speaker 2:You got to look around. Fanduel might not have it, I don't be doing all that shit. I know I stick to FanDuel too. Yo, FanDuel, sponsor us Thanks.
Speaker 1:Bye, they don't sponsor nobody, I know.
Speaker 2:DraftKings is smart with that. Draftkings is like yeah, they follow these discords, these gambling discords. They throw lots of money at them but not us.
Speaker 1:But what I was about to say? Yeah, this is going to bring him so much yeah resumes matter.
Speaker 2:I'm looking right now. Bruce Carrington should get this dude the fuck out of here. Nice little white boy, brooklyn accent. Get him the fuck out of here, bruce. On a Mike Tyson undercard.
Speaker 1:Yo, this is gonna boost, this is gonna boost his Think about that.
Speaker 2:Mike Tyson is a Brooklyn legend. Bruce Carrington is a. Brooklyn kid, he's a Brooklyn guy. And he's coming up right, he's the Brooklyn next best fighter, right.
Speaker 1:Where is this at again?
Speaker 2:Texas. He's Brooklyn's guy. Now imagine being a Brooklyn kid in boxing and being on a legend like Mike Tyson's undercard in the 2000s 2020s, for that matter.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is Wow.
Speaker 2:You'd never get a chance. So props to him. Yo Props to you, bruce, for getting on the car. Yeah, give you a little cheers, a little cheers, yep. Oh, still going, all right. Oh shit, shit, sorry.
Speaker 1:All right.
Speaker 2:Sorry, Working on no producer again so we're working on it. Yo, but for real, Bruce Carrington is that guy for that. And if he knocks his ass out, which I'm going to bet it, my only gripe with this whole thing is 11-15,. I think is a Friday.
Speaker 1:This is corny.
Speaker 2:No, come on man, why a Friday? Why a Friday? I want to watch this fight. I want to watch, and I don't even want to watch it for Bruce Carrington, let alone Katie Taylor Amanda Serrano, another New York kid. Katie Taylor Amanda Serrano 2 is going to be the best woman's fight in women's boxing history. Katie Taylor Serrano 1 was the best fight in women's boxing I've ever seen closest fight.
Speaker 1:I've ever seen it was crazy.
Speaker 2:The only problem with it is it wasn't three minute rounds, and I think all the women and michaela meyer always, always says this they need to come together and say what do we have to do to get this to three minute rounds at least? Like, give us the 10, 10 rounds still. I get it. We got to be a little different, but it should be three minute rounds. I I agree with that. Why not? Why not?
Speaker 1:it's gonna lead to some knockouts, yeah and that's good.
Speaker 2:That helps the sport. It helps women's boxing, because if that last fight was three minute rounds, katie taylor was going night night she would made it close enough.
Speaker 1:she was her legs, was non-existent a couple of times in that fight. Man Buckling, I don't know how this shit was lopsided. Somebody had like a 97, 93 or some weird shit.
Speaker 2:So I want to put things into perspective money-wise. Right, katie Taylor, you go to how do I say this? You go to any bar in New York City, right? Manhattan specifically. A lot of the bartenders in Manhattan like sports bars are Irish dudes, irish dudes yeah, always like off the boat Irish dudes, real Irish dudes, not like Irish Americans, like people from Ireland. You ask them who's the best? And I do it all the time, just because I want to prove myself right. I'm like who's the best athlete out of Ireland? Or who's your favorite sports athlete out of Ireland? And then I'll be like and I'll talk about boxing too it's always Katie Taylor, katie Taylor, katie Taylor.
Speaker 2:She is the fucking queen of Ireland. She is like the equivalent to the best soccer player out of their country. What's his name? Messi from Argentina. She's like the equivalent of Messi in Argentina, in Ireland, she's that big there. It's not Conor McGregor, it's not anyone else, it's her, it's 100% her. And that comes with a lot of money, comes with a lot of money. That, a lot of money. That was bullshit. Yeah, that that was bullshit. But I will say this and I'm not taking anything away from she's a great boxer. She did do enough to make it close. I I still back to serrano. So, that being said, I don't want to say it was bullshit, but it was like bull farts.
Speaker 1:yeah, she did throw a lot of combos and shit, but she was on the back foot the whole night and she was getting hurt a couple times.
Speaker 2:So going forward, though. Now this is where I kind of want to favor Katie Taylor a little bit. I think she's smart enough to make the right adjustments. She don't want to feel that again. She does not want to feel that again, I mean, and she is coming off a loss. She moved up, Moved up in weight, and then she fought her again and won whatever. But I'm betting on Serrano knockout, yeah.
Speaker 1:It's just because I'm an idiot? Yeah, but Serrano needs to wear some boxer shoes. I'm tired of seeing him Right.
Speaker 2:I like it.
Speaker 1:Yo. Jordan needs to sponsor her with some boxing shoes, bro. Why is she got to be a regular Jordan Yo boxing family? I feel like she's probably moving hella slow in here.
Speaker 2:Let's say this Boxing family, boxing family, all boxing heads around the world, if Amanda Serrano beats Katie Taylor, we all need to reach out. All five of us need to reach out to Jordan Brand and be like yo sponsor this girl. She needs to be out to Jordan Brand and be like yo, sponsor this girl Like she needs to be sponsored by Jordan.
Speaker 1:She's on her way out anyway, who.
Speaker 2:Serrano, you don't know that Hell. No, I think there's a like they're friendly. But I think there's a Clarissa Shields, serrano, yeah, they both move up. Clarissa Shields, I'll say this about her she'll fight anybody man, she'll fight anybody man, she'll fight, she don't care. And Amanda Serrano will too. But, like you know, that fight could happen. That's a big money, woman's fight too. But back to this fight I got, I'm going to bet Serrano knockout, ko TKO. I'm excited for it. I just texted my pops.
Speaker 2:You know my pops are like that. Jake paul, you have to give. I'm not going to do the sound again to clap yeah jake paul is the only one that put this fight together and and yes, everyone's high on the saudis the saudis are great. Jake paul put that fight together. Mvp promotions put that fight together. And I hate giving jake paul props in boxing. I don't think he's good and now we're gonna use to use that to get into the Mike Tyson Jake Paul car fight. We don't really need to talk about fucking.
Speaker 1:Mario Barrios? Yeah, I think, barrios, he's going to wipe him.
Speaker 2:I think he's going to win too.
Speaker 1:He's in Texas, he's going to wipe him this whole time.
Speaker 2:Abel Ramos is good, though, but he never beats a big name. These are both of who's more overrated than the other. You think it's going to be a stoppage or just from here? Yeah, I don't know. I think Barrios comes in shape and wants to stop. This is in Texas, he's from Texas. He's fighting at Dallas Stadium, like imagine.
Speaker 1:This is fire. Imagine like he's at Dallas Stadium. Yeah. Like imagine being from New York right.
Speaker 2:And they have a boxing match at Yankee Stadium. I wish I had some money to be there, yeah, and I'd rather watch this on TV. It would be hard anyways, friday fucking night, anyway, yeah, enough about that, let's just get right into it.
Speaker 1:So are we putting him into the Sparway?
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'll go Mario Barrios win, depending what the odds are.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it depends what the odds are.
Speaker 2:They're probably going to be inflated.
Speaker 1:It's going to be crazy, maybe knockout, maybe, maybe depends Abel Ramos.
Speaker 2:it's hard to stop this. Do they even have it on it?
Speaker 1:the only way let's get through this, so we can check.
Speaker 2:The only way, the only way Ramos wins. In my opinion, the only way Ramos has a shot to win is to knock Mario Barrios out, which can happen, old ass. Keith Thurman came back and knocked his ass down. So like it's not, like it can't happen, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1:I don't ever see it.
Speaker 2:They probably don't have it on him and Mario Barrios has like the potential.
Speaker 1:Yeah, oh, they got Shushu on here, but it's not only Moneyline. What's the Moneyline for Shushu?
Speaker 2:$750.
Speaker 1:Minus $750? $750.
Speaker 2:Yeah, minus 750? 750,. Yeah, mario Barrios, they got. So you got to risk 750 to win 100. Heavy favorite. Heavy favorite.
Speaker 1:It's not. They got Mario Barrios, just the money line man, what is it? Yeah, okay, 1450. Yeah. You know, what Katie Taylor that's going to be close 100?. They got the round best in the world.
Speaker 2:What's Katie Taylor Minus what?
Speaker 1:152. Yeah, it's pretty even Is it Serrano on there? Plus what? Oh for it not to go distance, it's 430.
Speaker 2:Plus, plus. Yeah, I don't want to put that in the Sparlay just because that's going to be my side like Gamble. You know what I mean. Yeah, I don't see put that in the spar lay just because that's going to be my side, like Gamble.
Speaker 1:You know what I mean. Yeah, I don't see Where's Jake Paul, I don't think.
Speaker 2:They probably don't know because of all the All right. Let's just Yo, let's get into like Jake Paul Mike Tyson. What do you got Willie Jake Paul Mike Tyson.
Speaker 1:Give me your take. Are you this nigga? I need to stop saying it. So did you go to church today or some shit? No, my left hook just said don't do it.
Speaker 2:He suggested me not to say it. You know what's funny? I thought you were off the air. Go ahead, jake Paul.
Speaker 1:I don't really know, because you can't even. How do you break this fight down? I don't understand, because we all are going to be rooting for Mike. I think everybody in their right mind is going to be rooting for Mike, right? And this fight is. We're going to see a legend in there and then we don't know if this shit's rigged. We don't know if it's like this is really. We're gonna figure it out. I don't think Mike Tyson's coming in to lose. There's no way you can. I'm out of money for Mike Tyson to take the fall. I don't think Mike Tyson broke anymore to be doing that.
Speaker 2:Like I don't.
Speaker 1:It's so he's in shape. I know he didn't waste all his and blood, sweat and tears to get in shape to to just lose, lose. So this is. It's gonna be amazing. His style is made for this, for this fight. Yeah, to kill jake paul, to kill jake paul and he's still got movement and it's got to be early, though it's got to be early If I get late.
Speaker 2:But Jake Paul don't look good late, so I'll put it like this this is something I thought about today, so Jake Paul's going to. I guess it's heavyweight, right? What are they fighting at, is it?
Speaker 1:light, heavy or heavy, I don't know. Yeah, it's heavyweight.
Speaker 2:They got weight classes, heavyweight. So jake wakehouse is what it's, yeah because I guess you have to right.
Speaker 1:Jake paul said he's like it's hard, like being this heavy whatever.
Speaker 2:jake paul's not sparring like real heavyweight, like we don't know who he's, I know, but I'm telling you right now, like they're not putting jake paul at his skill level in there with like heavyweights, like, yes, heavyweight people, but I'm talking like like top 50 heavyweights or top 100 heavyweights. You know what I mean. From what we see, mike Tyson's sparring like real fighters and they don't want to do that because they don't want Jake Paul to get hurt. It's nothing against Jake Paul, it is what it is.
Speaker 1:Like heavyweight sparring, if you ever watched it.
Speaker 2:It's fucking. He got the money to bring anybody in here, yeah, but what I mean is his team is not going to throw him in there with like we don't know like a lauren cocoly, you know what I mean. Like like jarrell miller's. Jarrell miller wants that money. He's not going in there. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, um, tyson, tyson appears just from what we see and what they post, which could be misleading yeah tyson's in there sparring, like our friend magic mike magic um, he's sparring real dudes that fight, that really fight, and it looks like they're banging.
Speaker 2:And Mike Tyson sparred real heavyweights and I know he's 60 or whatever. But another thing, okay, it's all fun and games. It's all fun and games. I don't care who you are right, I don't care what you do, what your knowledge of boxing is. Mike Tyson is like a superhero. He's in that different realm.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Super celebrity like crazy. I can't even explain it. Comic book hero. Yeah, that's why he's so great. He's like a guy like Hulk Hogan. Everyone knows who the fuck Hulk Hogan is. Everyone knows who the fuck Mike Tyson is Muhammad. Ali, he's just one of them great M. If you start naming mics that are great, he's in there. You know what I mean, though he's one of those dudes like Michael Jordan, lebron James, michael Jackson.
Speaker 1:What.
Speaker 2:What is wrong?
Speaker 1:with you. What the fuck is wrong with you? You know what I mean, though he's like what the fuck?
Speaker 2:is Roach. You know what I mean, though he's like what the fuck was that? Nah, it was a lot of. He's the modern day Diddy, no what.
Speaker 1:Diddy's the modern day.
Speaker 2:Mike, so listen.
Speaker 1:Yo, this guy is crazy Mike.
Speaker 2:Tyson is this figure that's going to go down in history as the ghost of Mike Tyson, the spirit of Babe Ruth you know what I mean.
Speaker 2:You don't think of baseball and don't think of Babe Ruth, you don't think of boxing and don't think of Mike Tyson. So when you see that across the ring, I don't care how cool you're being now Jake Paul and all this and that, and I don't care that you know he's 60 and you've seen him and you're like, oh, this guy ain't that big, I could take him. When you're in a boxing ring, right, if you know a little bit about boxing, and I don't care how old Mike Tyson is and you look across the ring and Mike Tyson is just there, mean mugging you in his black boots and his black shorts. You're intimidated and early and it might go away, but early. Jake Paul is going to have no fucking legs because he's going to be so shook yeah, he's going to be so shook just from the fact that I'm at Dallas Stadium, a packed stadium, staring at Iron Mike Tyson, the kid from Disney that tried this boxing thing and had some success. What the actual fuck.
Speaker 1:Unless this shit is rigged. That's what I'm trying to say.
Speaker 2:I don't, mike Tyson.
Speaker 1:And here's another thing, here's another thing, here's another thing, here's another thing, here's another thing.
Speaker 2:It may be rigged or whatever. Right, the minute Mike Tyson gets in that ring his mind is going to go straight back to Iron Mike Tyson and hopefully the body could keep up enough to beat a guy like Jake Paul. He was throwing at Roy, but you know what I mean. He was out of shape, that's what I mean.
Speaker 1:He was out of shape.
Speaker 2:That's what I mean. The minute Mike Tyson enters that ring, it's going to channel. It's like when we play pickup basketball right, we still think we could do all this and that, right, yeah. And our body is like nah, bro, you can't do that. So it's that on steroids, because it's Iron Mike, but he is a professional athlete, he has been training. The minute he gets in that ring, bro, it's going out the window. Brooklyn. Iron Mike with Customato is coming right back and here's his chance to kill this fucking blonde-headed white boy. And that's just the reality of it. That's just the reality of it.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Right.
Speaker 1:And think about it.
Speaker 2:And then think about that. Jake Paul on the other end is going to be like I'm just this kid from Disney looking across at Iron Mike.
Speaker 1:Tyson, I feel like we're going to feel it through the TV.
Speaker 2:Well, I'm going to feel it through my phone because I'll be at work, but yes, yeah we're going to feel that shit, and that's just my take on it. And again, the body needs to keep up with the mind. So I get it. He's 60. He looks jacked and in shape and it has to be done early.
Speaker 1:It's got to be done early.
Speaker 2:It's a win-win for both guys.
Speaker 1:How many rounds is it?
